Rated 4 out of 5 by from Has a little bit of Everything Wolverine is the prequel to the X-Men Trilogy. The Film shows the life that Wolverine had and how he became before the first X-Men Movie. This is the first of the X-men Origins films. The film was full of action and very entertaining. Hugh Jackam was fantastic the whole way through. Ryan Reynolds starred as Dead Pool. He did an outstanding performance, There was one particular scene that involved 2 swords that people will be talking about long after the movie. The story line fit with the history we all know about, and it was great to see it in action. This movie is great for everyone, It had a little bit of everything to make it entertaining for all audiences. The movie was a great success and could be the beginning of a very successful X-men Origins Series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I loved the original X-Men movies, but Wolverine is not to be compared. I wanted to watch it, but was a bit hesitant. I did not see how it could be better than the originals without all the other wonderful characters like Charles Xavier, Storm, Scott, Hank, Jean, Rogue and so many others. But I was so engrossed with the story that I forgot to miss them. Besides, they were able to toss in a few of the original characters--younger, of course. Liev Schreiber gave an amazing preformance as Logan's older brother. And, despite his evil side, he is really quite likable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it While this chapter of the popular x-men series doesn't follow the comic story lines exactly (it actually blends a few together) I thought it was a fantastic action flick. Hugh Jackman does himself proud in the role that made him famous and Ryan Reynolds does not disappoint in his portrayal of Wade Wilson a.k.a Deadpool. The great surprise in this movie came in the form of Sabretooth, played by Liev Schreiber, he makes this bad guy seem believable and is anything but the mindless muscle he was portrayed as in X-MEN. There are lots of fun explosions and some absolutely wicked fights. I would and have recomended this movie to just about everyone I know from 14yr old boys to grandma's there is something for just about everyone. Just remember that its not supposed to match the comic books (artistic liscence) and make sure you sit through the credits, all of them, and you won't be disappointed.
