Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not satisfied I purchased this because of the name "Gaiam", but did not live up to my expectations. First of all, the content of the DVD looks like it was shot in the 70's. Second, it is very slow even for total beginners: will not feel like a workout at all. This DVD just didn't give me any motivations and I regret buying it.

I have been doing yoga for only about ten months, so I thought this would be a good continuation of my practice. It was far too slow for me and I barely felt like I moved at the end of the 80 minutes. I would only recommend this DVD if you have never done yoga before.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from False Advertising on Packaging Patricia Walden presents all the poses clearly and makes the workout easy to follow. The pose guide makes it easy to design workouts and is a quick reference. As a previous reviewer said, however, there is no BONUS 85-minutes Yoga for Flexibility workout in the DVD packaging. So beware. If you want a easy to follow introduction to Yoga, this is a good DVD, but you will not get a bonus workout with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from excellent for beginners This video takes the time to teach each pose at a slower pace. Patricia Walden articulates very well. Once you are comfortable with the poses you can do the next level. The bonus flexibility workout does exist(another reviewer said it didn't). The bonus workout and the flexibilty workouts take you to the next level of practice. It has relaxation but not meditation. It is my choice for the beginner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from beginners yoga to anyone purchasing this DVD, the 85 min bonus flexibity work-out does not exist. if you're buying it based on that you will be disappointed. Overall, the instructer is very good and describes the poses very well. If you're interested in designing your own workout or intruction on a specific pose this is a good DVD.
