Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice stocking stuffer Got this for my son who really enjoys it and uses it often. His cousins also like it. We keep it in the car so where ever we are he can grab it and investigate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from stocking stuffer I bought this as a stocking stuffer. It is bigger than I had imagined. It's not really a "pocket" microscope. But still a cool novelty item.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed As soon as I got it out of the packaging I could tell by the weight of it that it was crap. We gave it a chance, though, and tried it, but it really did not work well at all. Save your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't do the job or anything else It flips number and letters around and your lens must physically touch the object to work. Not worth the money or time and sucks big time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for... It is a 30x microscope,  it does a pretty good job of making things like fabric and sand look really neat. It is a little hard to get the hang of at first,  you have to be very precise with how you hold it and adjust the focus. Once you do though,  it's great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best stocking stuffer 2013 This was a big hit, very powerful and fun to magnify things. Hint, place the viewer directly on the object to be viewed, then focus.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money I really wanted this to work, but the focus was inadequate and very hard to get it just right. The second you may be somewhat close to focusing, it is lost because it is handheld and not completely steady. I returned it. Very disappointing item.
