Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nicely shaped cubes I have to admit I am often at a loss as to what to buy my husband and scotch items always fit the bill. So yes, we have a lot of ice trays and drink cooling apparati. He really likes the large square ice cubes this tray creates. He finds due to the size of the cube, it chills his drink perfectly and melts just a smidge thereby opening up the flavour of His selected whisky.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unsteady When I am holding one in my hand it does not feel sturdy. I would not use these for making or serving ice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Easy to use, ice cubes pop out pretty easily. Nice square-shaped ice cubes for cocktails etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Molds I love these big square cubes. Each cube stores 1/2 cups of liquid when filled to the top. I use them to freeze everything from water, juice, herbs, tomato paste, and leftovers. Love the flexible silicone material, everything just pops out nicely.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Neat idea, not so great execution I bought this thinking the idea was neat, but I was disappointed when I received it. The packaging, which is cardstock, is too tightly wrapped around the product, and for too long. The moulds are badly rippled and warped on the inside walls, and cannot possibly produce anything "square" - instead the cubes are very lopsided and askew shapes which are very difficult to remove from the mould. I had to run the moulds under hot water for a minute or more in order to melt off the outside and have a smaller "cube" that would come out of the mould - otherwise, I risked tearing it. If the packaging wasn't so badly done, the mould wouldn't have warped, and the cubes would be sqaure and able to come out easily - little details count! They are fine if you are looking for novelty ice "cubes" for kids, but honestly I'd not use them for any half-discriminating adult. The globe ones I bought are better packaged, and I expect they'll result in a much more satisfactory solution for bar drinks.
