Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quirky fun for everyone This CD of songs is wonderful for the whole family. It had our daughters, aunt, uncle, gramma and grandad raving. The lyrics and singing are quirky, many different genres of music are covered. Lots of funny stories about animals and dinosaurs. My favorite song is Dinosaur Jump Rope. We bought a second Boynton CD, Dog Train, but after 4 or five listens, I'm not enjoying it nearly as much as Philidelphia Chickens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a pleasure for kids AND parents We became fans of Boynton when our little one was born and we received a set of books with his birth. When he turned one, we got this CD. It is simply wonderful! The wacky lyrics appeal to kids (about belly buttons, dinosaurs, strange animals and other wonderful characters). The music is great for adults. Each song is sung in a certain genre - show tune, rock and roll, ballad. I still crack up everytime I hear the cookie jar song, a lament to a cookie jar that is too high to reach. And the song about the little critters who sleep all day and party all night. And... In short, this is a great collection. Highly recommended for road trips, long and short.
