A classic tale by Newbery Medalist Kate DiCamillo, America’s beloved storyteller. Once, in a house on Egypt Street, there lived a china rabbit named Edward Tulane. The rabbit was very pleased with himself, and for good reason: he was owned by a girl named Abilene, who adored him completely. And then, one day, he was lost. . . . Kate DiCamillo takes us on an extraordinary journey, from the depths of the ocean to the net of a fisherman, from the bedside of an ailing child to the bustling streets of Memphis. Along the way, we are shown a miracle that even a heart of the most breakable kind can learn to love, to lose, and to love again. Featuring illustrations and a refreshed cover by Bagram Ibatoulline, as well as an excerpt of Kate DiCamillo's newest novel, Raymie Nightingale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tul The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is a fantastic book for kids 8 to 12 years of age. It teaches you about love, hope and how you should always be thankful for what you have, because someone always has a worse life than you do. This book will leave you with a bitter-sweet mixture of happiness and sadness, but most of all you will feel grateful no matter how bad your life seems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A hartwarming read I have bought at least 5 copies of this book over the last 6 months and will probably buy others for gifts. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend. It is a delightful tale of a porcelain rabbit who becomes separated from his owner(overboard) while on a trip to England. After his rescue he has several different owners - different names and experiences

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic I just finished reading this book to my three year old and she loved it! I love how it written from Edwards (the china rabbits) perspective. My daughter loved the idea that if she lost a stuffed animal it just meant they got to go on another adventure, I would recommend this book to everyone. Super imaginative, fun, and who couldn't fall in love with Edward. It will be reread again and again.
