about

A musical favorite since 1957, Pull-A-Tune xylophone lets young children delight in the sound of music. Encouraging early music-making helps children develop a sense of accomplishment. And the xylophone is an easy way to do just that! The mallet is attached, so it never gets lost. And it’s on wheels, so kids can pull it along wherever they go!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mallet string too short I bought this for my 9 month old son to add to his collection of musical toys/instruments. I picked the Fisher Price one as I had it when I was a child. He enjoys playing with it for a short duration. The sound is good however the string on the mallet is about 2 inches too short (not sure if this is due to some sort of safety standard) and it makes it very difficult to get the mallet in a position to actually hit the bars - even for an adult. I may have to try to replace the string or just cut the mallet off which is disappointing.
