Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fun, slightly more challenging version It's great. Enough changes to the original that it is worth it. We have the original and this and play them both often.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as North America but still enjoyable This version of Ticket to Ride has a few more ways to create routes however we found that some routes were too strong, making the game a little uneven. This means each time you play, all players are likely to try for the same routes and use the same strategy. It is still a great game and it is nice to play on a new map.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favourite in the series I prefer this version to the original. It's slightly more complex so it stays interesting longer, whereas some of the "twists" in later versions seemed too complex or gimmicky. Also having the names of the cities in their native language adds so much added entertainment. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of our favorite boardgames Very fun to play with friends. I have played many times without feeling bored. I played several versions of it (i.e. North America, Germany), I like this one best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the north american one This one has more bells and whistles than the north american one which is great because it's a different set of strategies

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great gateway game This is another what I consider gateway game to help one get into other games. Includes lots of strategies on collecting your resources and how to accomplish your tasks while working around your competitors. Fun game, easy to pick up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this game I really love playing this game. It can be played with children and adults. The concept is simple, but the game play can be competitive and involves strategy. There are also a couple of variations that can add to the level of difficulty. The more you play, the more apparent it becomes that this is really a wonderful game. I find that I don't tire of it, no matter how many times I play. I even play it on my phone. Also the game is really well designed, with lovely colours and artwork on the cards. There are many different maps of the same game available for purchase as well. I think this game is also of value because people who aren't always into boardgames seems to enjoy building their trains and collecting the cards to get there regardless of if they are competitive or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Fun Game This is a really fun game that is easy to explain to new players. The more players that you have the more fun it is as you can try to block other players but this also makes it more challenging. You can also get expansion boards if you get bored of the same routes and cities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A winner This game is popular in our house. We have a 6 year old who can play it with help, and other kids right up to age 12, who all love it. I like that they can all play it together at different levels. It requires some strategy to win. It can take a couple of hours but holds their attention. And it's neat that they've all learned European geography, while having fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great strategy game to add to your collection! Looks crazy complicated to start but after a few rounds everyone got the hang of it and loved it! Works best if one person has played before and can explain to everyone. Nice for playing again and again because everyones routes and strategies change every time, especially as the number of players changes (best with 3-5 players). A great strategy game to add to your collection, sure to be a new favourite! #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strategic Game That's Fun for All Easy enough to learn and play quickly. Involves strategy and bidding accurately to achieve best results. We play this as a family- all adults but young teens would have no trouble playing too, and (although I've still never won!) it's quite fun. It's different each time you play and it doesn't last so long that people lose interest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for All Ages It took a bit of time to learn how to play this game but it isn't complicated. As long as one person knows how to play you can learn how to play - and strategize - all before the first game is done (it just requires an explanation of what to do during your turn and how to get points). It's similar to Catan, 5th Edition in that you have to build a road - and building the train station is not entirely different to building a settlement or city, but the functionality is - so the concept isn't a hard one to understand. The purpose of the game is to complete routes to destinations that you have in your hand and you get points for the routes you complete in order to get at least 100 points and beat the game before your opponents do. This is a family friendly game as it's not too complicated for children to learn and you can play a few rounds (or more, but I personally can get two games in) before you start to get tired of it. It's also educational so you can learn while you play. This is a great game to add to your collection and is rightfully making its way into the classic games category as it's fun for all ages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome game! This is a great expansion of the American board original Ticket to Ride. Fun to play, fun to learn the new ins and outs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great This is a lot like the original but its a fun alternative one to play. Equally good game and hours of entertainment!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Endless fun This game is a great way to learn a little bit about Europe and such fun to play with friends! As you try to reach your destination, watch out! Your friends might block your path! I love this game and it is the best of the Ticket to Ride game series.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay... There's not as much interaction with the other players as some board games, but it's simple to figure out and easy to teach to other people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great family game We played one game to figure out the rules and it was really easy. With an older group you can play it really fast if you have younger children (8-11) it will go a little bit slower but still fun. This game works best with 4-5 players. If you are only going to play with 2 or 3 then buy the Ticket to Ride Nordic Countries. It is the same rules as the Ticket to Ride Europe but meant for a smaller group - but note that with the Nordic Countries version you CANNOT play with more than 3 people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Family Game We got this game recently, and after a trial introducing the concepts to our 5 and 7 year olds, we can't put it down! Be warned, it takes us about 1.5 hours to finish a game, so time it right in your day. Very fun with a lot of different things to do, but not too complicated. I think our kids will learn a lot of strategy from playing Ticket to Ride Europe, and I am excited to see how they develope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun family/group game We had the North American Ticket to Ride and enjoyed it. The European version has a few extra features that add more complexity to the strategy. Both games are expensive. However, lots of mileage can justify the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even better than the original I picked up Ticket to Ride a little while ago, and my friends and I have been playing it pretty steadily ever since. Now that I've finally tried this version, I must say I like it even more and it was really a worthwhile purchase.
