Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just Combat Fair... The minifigs in this set are great- great details and weapons. The vehicle displays a lot of neat features, but overall is a bit of a disappointment. For the size/price of this kit, and the fact that it's 1 of only 2 sets for the Wolf Tribe, I expected more. The Cons: The 5-in-1 idea sounds awesome, but in practice, it left much unfinished. The rear motorbike was clumsy, and the front claw speeders were awkward and unsatisfying. The assembly which launches the claw speeders is the most complex and piece count adding parts of the build, but it doesn't even function well. Most of the time simply disconnecting the speeders, instead of launching them as intended, you are also, more often than not, going to have the shuttle that launches them fall off to some great or lesser level. Biggest comment on the Con side-- In a theme light on bases, It would have been nice for this set to go that direction versus a bigger version of what we'd already seen with Wakz' Pack Tracker. The Pack Tracker was an awesome set for the playability and value. This just seemed to be a bunch of pieces slopped onto that model. The Hobbit's Dol Guldur delivers a playset that would be an awesome Wolf Cave for the same price... would have much rather seen something like this. The Pros: Again, an awesome minifig and weapon selection. The Combat Lair, while not perfect, goes in an interesting direction. This set will provide an interesting base for adding and modifying. Some of the add-ons, like the copter and and claw speeders, are neat in that they give the set more range and potential players. And as sort of a side-note... the wolf head on the front of the build is just exquisite. Wakz' Pack Tracker

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good toy, many pieces I bought this for my 6 year olds birthday. He very much enjoyed it and no doubt your kids will too. The way my son plays with this however, it ends up in a million pieces rather quickly so expect to lose some of them in your carpet or make a mess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wolve's Rule! I just got Worriz' combat lair for my birthday and I just can not stop playing with it. It is really awesome! It has cool features like the combat helicopter and the claw bikes that launch out in front of the combat lair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME! Ok, to start off this review I must say this - is - one - of - the - best lego sets I have, and trust me, I have alot! Figures: First favorite, Worriz: Looks amazing with the markings on his head Second favorite, Windra: Amazing printing Third favorite, Eris: Looks great, nice printing and cool wings. Fourth favorite, Waks: I like his sword Fifth favorite, Wilhurt: He looks really cool all black Last but not least, Grizzam: Looks great with the metal fists and nice printing The set itself looks great! It has that really good looking wolf head on the front and it is very big! 16" long! And you may get out a ruler and be like... ye.. I guess its big, but when your holding it and you feel the full size of it, you realize its bigger than it seems in the picture. Now lets get to the features. It has some storage containers on both sides ( 1 of the containers has some circular saws in it ) , the wolf heads jaw can move up and down a little, and when you push the containers forward it launches the claw bikes! The claw bikes are 3 1/4" long, 2 1/2" wide and about 2 1/2" tall. The claw bikes look very nice and are fun to play with. On the back of the combat lair a thing that looks like a turret detaches and the wheels fold in to form a wolf motorcycle, this motorcycle measures 6 1/2" long, 2 1/2" wide and a little more than 2 1/2" tall. It also looks great and is really fun because it has a cool looking gun on the side and its big wheels are nice. Once you have detached the motorcycle you can then detach the mobile jail! The mobile jail is big enough to hold 2 figures such as Grizzam with his fists on and Eris with her wings off, it measures 5 1/2" long, a little over 1 1/2" wide and about 2 1/4" tall. Next take the vehicle off the top. Now you're thinking what is it? Well fold the blades out and up and you have a wolf helicopter! This helicopter measures about 9" long, 2 1/2" wide and almost 2" tall ( With the blades folded in), With blades out: about 9" long, 1' 1/4" wide ( From blade tip to blade tip ) and 2 1/2" tall ( With blades folded out ). And after all this you still have the main wolf truck left over. Measures 7 1/2" long, a little over 6" wide and 6" tall. You can seat Worriz ( Or figure of choice ) at the top of the wolf head to drive the truck, also this truck features some nice looking Chi powered engines. Over all this set is very nice and I think LEGO did a good job on it. I would Recommend this to anyone who likes Chima or even just a LEGO fan. I rate this set 10/10 and I think it is just an AWESOME set! Pros: EVERYTHING! Cons: None Difficulty: Easy ( For me ), for a younger kid, I would say medium. But I hope this review was helpful and I hope I covered all of the info you needed :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The combat lair This is a pretty good set to get. It is OK if you are not a Chima fan, but it is great if you have gotten more than one Chima set. Minifigures: Worriz: Good printing with weapon(the red part of the weapon is exclusive to this set). Good armor. Windra: Pretty good minifigure. She is exclusive to this set. OK weapon but is a little loose. Wakz: Good minifigure with good sword. Good armor. Wilhurt: Good minifigure. Printing on the mouth is a little inferior but is OK. Pretty good weapon. Eris: OK printing and great weapon. Great armor. Grizzam: Good printing and great weapon fists. The combat Lair: Pros: Cool wolf truck. Claw bikes with release function from the truck. Cool helicopter with folding helicopter blade blade function. The prison is good. The bike looks cool and has a cannon on it. Combining and separating function. Cons: The bike is unbalanced and may fall over a lot. Their is a piece on the helicopter that may come off sometimes, and the helicopter is kind of unbalanced on the floor when the blades are folded up and their is no minifigure in the cockpit. Overall, this is a pretty good set if you're a Chima fan. Not as much if you are not into this theme, but you may still like this set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice set I waited months to get this set and I liked it! I'll start off with the minifigs. Worriz: Of course you'll get him in this set, seeing that it's his vehicle. He has nice printing and a cool weapon, but it gets in the way when trying to put him in the cockpit. As with all chima minifigs, he has a fully printed minifigure face under his animal head. I prefer to keep the open-mouthed growl face facing the front because the other one just looks dumb. Windra: When playing with this set, I have windra be worriz's girlfriend, just for the heck of it. Her gun seems a bit too large for her, but it sure looks cool! On her minifigure head, I keep the face with the open mouth to the front because I like it so much. Wakz: This one isn't nessicarily my fav, but i like him ok. The extra hair really does make him look like a "pack elder", and his weapon looks cool. Wilhurt: I think Wilhurt is cool because he's black, and I like black. His weapon is cool, and the printing is nice. Eris: This is perhaps my favorite minifig in this set. The wings make her look sort of like an angel, and her axe is cool. Grizzam: I don't honestly like grizzam much, because he just looks sort of dumb. And now for the main vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom thought the way all the vehicles snapped together was cool, and I agree. The motorbike doesn't balance that well, and I like the helicopter. The wolf claw bikes would make good substitutes for speedorz, and the wolf truck is cool. The wolf's head is simalar to that of wakz's pack tracker, and maybe you could detach it and use it to make grond from lotr. Which leaves us with pros and cons. pros: cool vehicle(s) nice minifigs cool weapons prison cage looks very detailed cons should've had wilhurt no enemy vehicl motorbike is lopsided doesn't have a lot of weapons for a "combat lair..." Overall, good set! There are snags, but there are also good points.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worriz Combat Lair I just got this set yesterday, an excellent set, which brings out the elements of Chima. I built it in a fair 1 and a half hrs. Now time for the review! Minifigs: Worriz: Wow. He is stunningly amazing, I love the scars on his wolf head and face. He has great detail and an awesome white cape. His weapon is also amazing, with the awesomeish red lightning double-edged blade. 10/10 Wilhurt: I WILL HURT YOU! GRAH! He is also pretty sum. I like how they made his fur dark and scraggly instead of plain old grey. 8/10 Windra: STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL. I like the exclusive printing and her ice white fur. I also like her amazing gun. 9/10 Wakz: so-so, not the best. But he has a pretty cool weapon! 7/10 Eris: Amazing like all the other chima characters, Eris delivers a nice, intelligent impression. I like her wings and eagle head/helmet. Also unique printing and an awesome chi battle axe. I like her golden armor. 9/10 Grizzam: Last, but not least is the gorilla Grizzam. He has good printing and a nice head/mask. What I like best, is the fists that hang down like a real primate's. 7.5/10 Main set: Helicopter: I love the transforming elements in this so that on the main vehicle it looks like armor but it transforms into a butt kicking chopper. 8/10 motorcycle/ back wheels. Now this amazed me. It showed what lego really is! I like how the wheels folded back and the cannon comes down. Although a little lopsided, you can fix it by putting the cannon at a certain angle. 8/10 Claw bikes: Now these are FRICKIN SUM! I love how if you jam the pistons forward, they shoot off into battle! 9/10 Main Vehicle: I think the wolf cockpit head is beautiful and rivals that of Wakz's pack tracker. I like the moveable ears and awesome stickers. I also like the big wheeels on the thing. Next the mobile prison rocks! If you take Eris's wings and weapons off and the same with Grizzam, you can have two minifigs in at a time. Then I also like the storage compartments with the cool saws. And on the other side is the "chi storage" THAT COMES WITH NO CHI! 9/10 Overall this set is the best! GET IT! My only complaints are no ci, no winzar, and no enemy vehicle. Signing off- K
