Rated 4 out of 5 by from Titan-tastic! I received this set as a present and it was my first foray into the series. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow and construction took about 5 hours total to complete, although, I was by no means rushing through it. The mini figures are great, as are the tower and centipede-monster thing (sorry, I'm not sure what to call it). Both assembled quickly and easily. The titan crawler/ship is of course the focal point and it is truly awesome to behold. Assembly was not has difficult as I had initially believed. The two vehicles hold together very well and separate easily for play. I was worried that prying the ship off the back of the crawler would put stress on the other bricks and cause it to fall apart but that is not the case. There are lots of nice, neat little details that add visually to the set, but if I had to list any negative things, it would be the stickers (I HATE them so much...) and flick missiles, however, there are two spring loaded launching missiles hidden under the ship in the crawler which can be fired when the ship is detached. Overall, a nice addition to my Lego collection, if maybe a slightly bit pricey. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is totally awesome! Well, I was crazy about getting the Hive Crawler...Not so much for this set. But, I got the chance to get it at my local store. I got it and found out it was more epic than I thought I would be. The Galactic Titan is completely stable. This is a weighty project (If you finish it). I like the Galactic Titan better than the Hive Tower and a caterpillar. This set is juicy for playability. This is an awesome set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Galactic Titan I received this set as a gift at Christmas, and I was really excited to get it! Not only is it good for play and display, it's appearance really makes you want it. The price is about $20 more than I think it should be (Price is $99.99), so I thought it should be more like $80-$95.. Now on to the Pros. and Cons. Pros. * Good number and selection of minifigures * Great Build * Great Appearance Cons. * Alien Egg Launching function doesn't work to well * Slightly over-priced * Could have used one more Alien vehicle Overall I'd give this a 9.3 Out of 10!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesomely Awesome I have got to say that this is one of my favorite Lego sets ever. It has a lot of cool functions, and it mixes good with other sets. The mini figures are pretty nice, although the set doesn't come with any new ones. The caterpillar is fairly fun to, as it can twist on the hinges and you can put a cocoon on the back of it. Some of my only problems with it though, is the little red lights at the front don't hold onto the holes very well, and all the little legs are kind of annoying to put together and take apart agin. The alien base is cool to, because of how it can launch a larvae onto the ground and have it break open. The only problem with that though is that it doesn't always come down on the ground. Overall though, the Galactic Titan is by far the best thing in the box. I love how it can split open and have a turret come out of it. I kind of wish that both cockpits were on the same side, so it didn't have to turn around, but it's not that big a deal. It is also nice that you can put the cocoon in the bottom for storage. Overall, I would recommend this set to just about anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from galactic titan I enjoyed building this set and playing with it. My brother and I both enjoy the split function, My only complaint is that when you split it into both the tank and ship often the pieces that attach the ship to the tank fall off and go with the ship. Other than that I enjoy the set

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent choice This is propably one of my favorite set out of summer 2013 galaxy squad, if not my favorite. Admittedly i wasn't sure if it would worth the price but I'm glad it did! A sturdy and inventive design coupled with nice features that add playability to the set and make you feel that you don't throw away your money. : The minifigs included are Solomon Blaze, Max Solarflare, Blue team robot sidekick, a mosquitoid, a mantizoid and an alien larvae. The minifigures have great detail; especially the mantizoid. : The alien hive tower has nice detail and fairly decent build. It's got nice features like being able to launch an egg and hold the cocoon from the caterpillar : the cater pillar is a decent build and can hold a minifigure with its claws has its own cocoon. All in all, for a small enemy against the main model the caterpillar is a pretty good and lifelike build. : Now for the Galactic titan. As most galaxy squad vehicles it has a split function and divides into a planetary defender and a deep space destroyer. The planetery defender resembles a sci-fi movie tank and has retractable technic missiles, a radar, a technic pin to stick the cocoon inside, blaster holders, and opening cockpit the deep space destroyer has a futuristic, sci-fi gunship look to it; the craft features rotating wings, flick missiles on the landing gear and a two-seated, detachable cockpit Overall the set features a sturdy and unique Galactic Titan a nice caterpillar and an interesting hive tower. All in all a really nice set that offers great building and playing value that worths the price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The last stand This is the worlds last hope..... The alians are creating more And more of them in the cocoons. The worlds last hope is a huge machine and a army of galaxy squad. What will happen next? Will the machine destroy the cocoons or will the alians unleash their fury? Well you decide! This set is truly a worthy set for the final stand. Comes with 6 mini figs all greatly detailed. The galactic Titan is well uh AWSOME! Ans the cocoon station is a great alian base. Now get off your chair and buy this set or the world as we know it will end...... (Buy this set)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Set Ever! I love the Galactic Titan! Its split function is truly wonderful! The pop up radar on the Titan's tank is great. The ship is really cool, and the rotating wings make it seem very high tech. The minifigures are great, and I love the baby bug, and how if you flip it around it changes bug type (it goes from flying bug to ground bug). The caterpillar is great, and the bug base is awesome. The egg launching function works smoothly. I would totally recommend this set to anyone who loves Galaxy Squad!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ugh, terrible set! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SET! It is probably the most weak and unsturdy set I own. The Galactic Titan constantly falls apart in a heap of bricks. I mean the sides cave in all the time so maybe I have a defective product or this is normal. I hate this set a lot. Worst Lego set for the price in my opinion. Figures seem to lack creativity and the alien caterpillar thing is just plain stupid. Two thumbs down Lego. Please consider the durability of the sets BEFORE you mass produce them. Sorry but I though this set was a Galactic failure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! From my son: I absolutely love all the new parts that I don't have and the interesting ways your new designers built things. I absolutely love how they did the wing pivots! I also adore the idea of having four tank-like treads. And I love how it can go one way until the cruiser takes off, then it can go in the other. Whoever designed the Galactic Titan, make sure you keep him or her as long as they will stay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galactically Good Set I absolutely love Space themed LEGO, it's something they have always done really well. So, on a recent trip to LEGOLAND Windsor (16 years since my last visit...), I thought I'd treat myself to something from this exciting looking new range! I'd actually set my heart on the 70704 Vermin Vaporizer with perhaps a smaller set alongside, but oddly enough this was the only set The Big Shop didn't stock from the range?! Still, I was there to treat myself from the LEGOLAND shop, not somewhere I visit often, and as it was just within budget I decided on 70709 Galactic Titan - and I wasn't disappointed. I was a little unsure on the price tag initially, but once I opened the box you can easily see it is good value for money: The set comprises of over 1000 pieces, which come in 8 main bags! If you like your LEGO Space components, then you won't be disappointed, as the set is packed with lots of interesting elements which will bulk up your collection nicely for future models! There are also plenty of structural bricks and Technic pieces to create the main structure. Building the model is great fun, comprising of 7 main stages, and I spent an afternoon savouring the experience; after all, it's one of the best bits! The only downside I can mention here is that it is a very symmetrical model, and so quite a few stages of the construction get a little repetitive here and there. On the plus side, there is plenty to do, and this would be great family build if there are a few of you - the instructions are split into stages which fit together, so you can all work on a separate area and combine them as you go! There are quite a few stickers to apply, and some require very careful lining up and steady hands - take your time, it's worth it when the model is finished! Once the models are finished, you really appreciate the amount of LEGO you actually have, not to mention what a cleverly designed set you've got. The wings on the spacecraft articulate, the centipede's body articulates and it all fits together fantastically well! I'm not so keen on the drivers pod for the tracked part of the craft; it's nothing bad, but I think a 'meaner' looking cockpit could have been designed for it. Still, it opens up easily to allow the mini-figure to be added or removed. The cab area on the Spacecraft is much better, and features a fantastic transparent viewing canopy. The mini-figures themselves are beautifully detailed. The insects come with great moulded heads. The Galaxy Squad characters are what I'm really interested in though, and the three provided (two human and one android) are again greatly detailed, with double-face heads on the human characters to give extra expression. My only slight gripe is that the faces are all really aggressive and not very happy looking. I understand the context of the sets, but the odd cheerful expression is quite nice as an option. The main model is quite large once finished, and certainly weighty. To conclude, I'd say this a really interesting and involving set. It was really fun to build and is an excellent design. Space fans won't be dissapointed!
