Rated 5 out of 5 by from Combo-Vehicle Awesomeness This, I believe, is Ninjago's first combo-vehicle. This is one of my personal favorites for the 2014 series, and here's why: Minifigures: In this set, you get Jay, Cole, and a Nindroid. Jay and Cole are both really cool, and the Nindroid is pretty awesome. I like the laser-shooting-scope thing over the Nindroid's hood. I think it adds a lot to the character. Jay and Cole look awesome in their matching techno robes, which I really like. Both characters were brilliantly designed. Main Set: This set is just plain awesome. I'll start with the Earth Mech: Cole finally got his Mech!!! And a quite well designed one at that. The sword-cannon arms are very very cool, and I like that it has ball-and-joint connections. That way, it's poseable, and can be played with easier. Jay's off-road vehicle is really cool. When you push the cockpit back, 6 guns in the back of the vehicle with flip up. That's probably it's best function. I really love it. The large back tires are great, and the treads in front are awesome. The only thing I would have added was a third gear to give the the treads a more triangular shape. But other than that, they are really great. One last thing I would have done was made the 2 vehicles match a little bit better. With them being able to be connected, the Mech looks like a little more of an add on than part of the vehicle. But, that's not at all a major problem. They are really cool when combined. This is an awesome set. I would highly recommend getting this set. It's probably one of the best $30 sets you can get.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from awesome set pretty cool set, I've been a ninjago fan since it first came out, so I collect a lot of sets. here's some pros and cons pros 1: the tank cockpit can slid back and forth depending if cole's mech is on it. 2: the walker looks really cool 3: nice tires and treads on the tank cons: 1: the techno blade falls apart a lot 2: the treads on the tank don't hardly roll 3: this set would be better with another nindroid 4: If a ninja is wearing armor, he won't fit in either machine, but i fixed cole's mech be putting a flat 2x2 brick on it and having him stand on the farther 2 studs so that he can wear armor and still be in it. but jay can't fit in his tank with armor but anyway, pretty awesome set

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Great Model For Ninjago Fans Of All Ages This set looks awesome, and is really sturdy, but that's about it. To start with I will go over the Minifigures Nindroid: your normal "Nindroid Warrior" with no differences, but if you don't know what the difference between types of nindroids is, it is this: he has a mask, and his Wires are not sticking out at odd angles, that is the only difference. 10/10 Jay Walker: It is a little weird that Cole, and Jay are in the same set, seeing how in the third season they were both trying to get Nya to like them, but enough spoilers here are the minifig description: has normal blue legs(a real disappointment), but not so for his torso, it has a more cloak like look to it then any previous ninja variant, and it has a lot of lightning decor on it's front. 9/10 Cole Bucket(I heard that was what his last name was, correct me if I'm wrong): looks exactly like Jay, except he is black and he has earth elemental decor instead of lightning. Both also have their hair! Finally! 9/10 Now on to the main build: Nindroid Gun Turret: has two very big, machine gun type looking blasters on it, as well as two weapon holders, and at the very top a nindroid symbol(pre-printed!), a true collectable. 9/10 Elemental(I think it is elemental at least) Lightning Ninja Tank AKA Thunder Raider: has a really cool function where if you slide the cockpit back two side mounted cannons pop out(they don't shoot, however if you really wanted them to shoot it would be real easy to do so, and also there are no weapon holders. 8/10 Elemental Earth Exo Suit: is great to look at, and put in epic poses, but it's movements are a little restricted do to the bulky shoulder pads. the two guns don't shoot, but just like the tank, they can be up-dated with some flick-missile attachments, and there once again is no weapon holder. 7/10 All in all I would give this set a nine out of ten stars all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the Nindroids Line I picked up this set as a treat for myself and am glad I did. It sticks with Lego's 10 cents per piece ratio and has high playabilility. Minifigures: Cole- I like this new Cole a lot. He has hair (for the first time ever) and his (for lack of a better word) bandanna is awesome. Lego gives us an extra which would be very useful for a Wild West MOC. The hair looks like the Clone Wars Anakin Skywalker hair in black. He has his new Nindroid printing which looks fantastic, but no handheld weapon. Overall, probably my favorite figure. Jay- Like Cole, Jay comes with a bandanna thingie and hair, both new. He has new printing which looks just as good as Cole's and an extra bandanna. His hair looks like the Mutt Williams hair from Indiana Jones in orange. His handheld weapon is a Technoblade. Nindroid- Nothing too special here, just your average Nindroid. However, I overall love the nindroid head printing. Perfect for sci-fi MOC. The Set: Nindroid turret- This is a small maybe 10-15 piece build. It comes with 4 legs and 2 arms, one for the Technoblade and one for whatever you want. It's nice to get 4 red light-saber pieces for the lasers. These lasers can also come off of the turret to become the nindroid's handheld weapon. Cole's Earth Mech- This is a really awesome piece of the set. It is smaller than Lego's average mech but it packs a punch. There is actually very little technic involved in making this. Cole looks perfect in his seat and fits nicely. Jay's Raider Tank- The tank has a nice color scheme along with a bit of weaponry. Jay has to almost lay down to fit in the cockpit but other than that, no qualms. The attack mode is cool: simply push the cockpit back and the sides of the tank flip open to reveal 3 blasters per side. The Thunder Raider- Really cool. Though the tank's attack function is blocked by the mech, it loos amazing. Overall-10/10 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value this set has a great value. i picked it up for 20$ and and i haven't regretted it. 3 awesome minifigs and 2 sweet vehicles that go great with kais fire mech.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Cool First off, the Thunder Raider looks like the Tumbler from Batman, which I thought was cool. The Earth Mech is cool but i think that Lego could have added better seating for Cole, shake the Mech a little too much and he fall. The only true disappointment about this set is that Cole's Techno Blade wasn't included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall a great buy Overall, this is a must have set, if you have more nindroids. Jay: He is a very cool minifig, and the techno-blade is awesome! The mask looks awesome with the decals. Cole: Again, the mask is awesome with the decals, and the black hair looks great with the outfit. Nindroid: I love the robotic parts on him! He has anger in his eyes and looks like a big threat agenst a ninja alone. Nindroid guns: The guns look awesome, but pose little threat to the thunder raider. But, I love how Lego made it so the guns could be taken off a weapons for the nindroid. Earth mech: The earth mech is great! With moving joints, swords, and heavy cannons, it looks as if it can take on anything! Lightning off-roader: The off-roader is awesome! You can switch the cockpit from off-roader to speedster! In speedster, the guns can be flipped over and the are hidden. Thunder Raider: Time for the big guns, the thunder raider has arrived! Put the earth mech on the back of the off roader and it will "super charge" both of them! I think that it looks super when they are combined. But they do the exact same thing when they are not combined. I hope this is helpful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ninjagoooooo I was excited to see this came out a little earlier before Christmas, and I gotta say, it was worth the buy! The vehicle designs themselves are very satisfying, as most ninjago sets are. The thunder raider itself is nice and compact, and the mech is extremely flexible. All the minifigures are great, and even enough reason to purchase this set. Great set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Ninjago This by far is the best wave of lego Ninjago. Cole and Jay's new torso and hair is awesome. The nindroid is awesome as it has a different body to general Cryptor and the nindroid drone. The vechles are awesome as they can connect and the thunder raider is like a mini ultra raider. Definitely this is my favourite set from this wave that I have bought although the only con is that the nindroid's weopon is annoying when the light saber parts fall off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst designed set we've owned! My son loves everything Lego Ninjago, but the car in this set is horrible. The links in the front are just odd and the part where the mini figure goes is awkward to open. The whole car is not easy to play with like others that we have purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Thunder Raider Ninjago fans of the past and present let out a gasp of shock. We hold our breath, not quite believing what we've clearly just seen. We blink surprise and wonder out of our eyes....is it possible? To that I say, "YES!!!" Ladies and gentlemen, NINJAGO IS BACK!!! I am thoroughly pleased with not only the return of our beloved theme, but also with the amazing sets LEGO has given us. Thus expressed, I will begin relaying the amazingness of this set to you. The minifigures is where I'll begin. Jay is the first to catch your eye, and his new design is splendid. I do admit, it is not quite as Ninja-like as any of his past suits, but hey, techno all around, right? I am so pleased that they now have their hairpieces. Having hair gives more playability options, and everyone is game with that. Cole? He is as solid as ever. His hair/mask combination gives him a fierce look of skilled determination, and his hair is something that fills me with delight constantly. The Nindroid is menacing, with his amazing new ninja hood piece. His robo/techno -ness totally rallies excitement and hope for Ninjago's future. As Zane has said, "If there is more for us to accomplish, let it be!" PROS: Minifigures are superbly designed (with hair! well, some of them...) An extra face mask is included for both Cole and Jay The techno blades are very awesome. The bottom of the blade has a stud on it, so you can attach it to quite anything that you want. I do wish you guys would've included Cole's though (ah well, Hover Hunter it is, then!) The Tank itself is a piece or art! Anybody recognize the function of carrying the mech on the back of the drill? I'm very glad they included that, as it not only provides stylish transportation (and we know these Ninja dig style), but it is also a effective way to blast your Techno-foes! There are many options the ride provides. Missiles, a gorgeous color scheme, smooth cockpit, and treads (they always make things cooler) give this vehicle the power and attitude that any Jay-ride would need. Red lightsabers are always welcome (on the Nindroid cannon) CONS: The treads droop because it's not quite tight enough (and removing a link makes it too tight). This doesn't effect movement, just appearance. A tad expensive Well, here we go, into another action-packed wave of Ninjago! Keep it up, LEGO. You've got us collectors hooked...again. Thanks for reading, ya'll, and God bless Takeshi7013

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cole and Jay Return in Awesome New Vehicles! I love this set so much! Is absolutely great but before I can share my huge opinions, I'll tell you about the details of this set. Minifgures: Nindroid - These nindroid minifgures are an awesome addition to the Ninjago world. I love the robotical torso and the purple robes. His robot and black ninja mask is cool too! His leg printing is neat too! Cole - Cole is a awesome minifgure and his hair piece is fantastic. His bandana goes well with him with the black color. His torso is very cool and neat. Jay - Jay is very cool minifgure! His hairpiece is cool and his blue bandana looks very nice. His torso printing is awesome and he is overall a great minifigure! Main Builds: Nindroids Blaster - The nindroids gun is very cool. It's a nice addition to the set and it has two red blasters plus two holders for weapons. It has adjustable legs and a cool non-sticker printing on top. You also get one of the main weapons which is a yellow clear piece on top of a golden chainsaw so it's a really cool weapon. I believe they're called Techno-Blades. Cole's Mech - I love the mech so much! The feet of coles mech have awesome japanese printing and a number 5 printing with extra detail. His arms are fully detailed with awesome golden bladed blasters (that don't shoot) and awesome arm shoulder protectors with awesome printing on them which are very earth like! There is a little place were Cole stands and a little thing to put over Cole's head to keep him in place. Jay's Thunder Raider - I love the thunder raider so much!!!! The black and gold back tires are cool. Jay has a little cockpit were he sits in with a control panel. It's a mini tank but it's mini track tires are cool and removable! He has two golden swords on the side and a lot of blue detail. When you pull back his cockpit from the back his thunder raider goes into attack mode with 3 guns on each side (that can't shoot). That feature is awesome. And when you push back Jay's Thunder Raider and flip the guns over it goes back into normal form. Here's my favorite feature! Cole's mech has two pins on the back. Jay's storm fighter has two holes on his back. When you bend Cole's Mech's knees, you can attach the mech onto the Thunder Raider! Now the Thunder Raider looks bigger and cooler! Now Coles can blast his guns from behind while Jay storm's through the nindroid! I think when they're connected the Thunder Raider looks much cooler! Overall this set is a must buy! The price is awesome you get 334 pieces for $30 which is very reasonable plus 3 mini figures. Jay is exclusive for this December 2012 wave. For all Ninjago fans, THIS IS A MUST BUY! Great playability, great functions, awesome mini figure, everything awesome in one set! NINJAGOOOOOO!!!!! 10/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value This set looks as if it will have a great value compared to other lego sets. Lately lego has been selling one of these vehicles (or something roughly equivalent to it) for $25. This being $30 at the moment puts these two vehicles at an amazing value. I am personally a fan of the new hair pieces for the ninja and of the new dark-robot-ninja baddies. The quad blades for the nindroid are a good idea on the part of lego, as is the combining of the two vehicles.
