Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice iconic model from the Star Wars franchise Enjoyed building this despite the fact that I built it over a week because I had other commitments etc. Looks good on the shelf and with the snow speeder I also received it really does look like more of a cool room decoration than a toy. The minifigures are also of good quality with the new snowtrooper armour being the main new 'thing'. The only real downside is the fact that aside from the snow speeder, there aren't really any other Hoth sets to really set the scene. Perhaps Lego could release a new AT-ST and Hoth trenches? Overall a good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Set, Terrible Concept Let me clarify, the LEGO set and everything in it are perfect, but the design as an actual vehicle is seriously flawed. That's not to say the vehicle in itself isn't awesome, just the vehicle as a practicality. On to the set itself: first the figures, then the actual vehicle. The minifigures, all amazing. The new Snow Troopers are particularly amazing. The helmet and backpack are superior in every way, the chest and back prints are great, again totally improved, as for the arm and legs, the legs could use some knee printing, but that's really just a nitpick, the arms are fine. The kamas on the figures are all great, and do a lot to make the figure much more accurate. The AT-AT Driver is just as good, the new helmet and all new printing is much better than the old, and those are still amazing figures. General Veers gets a sand blue helmet. If that doesn't explain it, than let me clarify; he is so much better than the already stellar Veers figures released prior to this iteration. The AT-AT: the biggest LEGO set I've ever built. It is amazing in every way possible. the legs are perfect, the joints are exactly large enough, and get all the right angles for walking, and then some. The feet are just as good as the legs. They're wide enough that it has no problem standing, but not so wide that they collide in the middle. The interior has enough room for all the figures, and one extra Snow Trooper. The trap door in the center works, as long as you don't put a figure on the very edge of it. The troop bay side doors look great, and work even better. If they're opened even halfway, then the figures can get in and out. Initially, I was worried that the side panels would be constantly swinging from side to side, but they stay put perfectly well. The head droops a little, but there's no easy way to fix that and they do it in the movie, too. The head has enough room for two figures, but unless you made the whole basic shape of the head and neck one piece, that's unavoidable, and fine by me. The cannons are perfectly fine, although I do wish the cannons underneath the head were only one stud wide, and four spring-loaded missile launchers were included with five missiles (just personal preference, not a con). In conclusion, this set is perfect in every way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "General Veers, prepare your men." Ever since seeing Star Wars episode V, I've awed at the intimidating might of AT-ATs. Their stature and almost animal likeness is what makes them unique from an ordinary starfighter. This set is the best, most realistic representation of an AT-AT in Lego that I have seen. Its playability, realism, functionality and long building time are its good points. It is a fun, but tedious at times, build with many techinc pieces to add strength and rigidity. Their are almost no flaws, as the body is sturdy and the panels are stuck well to it. The head just bristles with cannons and there is plenty of room in the body for Snowtroopers. Pros: very realistic and fun to play with, and also sturdy and just simply AWESOME-LOOKING! Cons:The head is slightly to big and bulgy, and I found that the legs are a little too hard to move. The discs on the leg joints frequently come off. These are small nuances that really don't affect my overall impression of the model, and it is probably the best Lego purchase that I (and you, maybe) have every made!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We had Fun Bought the AT-AT a bit for my self, I like Lego (and yes I am getting 40 very soon). The moment my son (5 years) saw the box it was clear we had to build this together (he demanded and instructed me) Building the AT-AT looks maybe challenging but if you follow the instruction books (2) it is very easy the books are simple and every step is clearly shown. My son only had some issue's with the parts that were a bit tide but we had fun. must say the orange helping tool is very useful (last time I bought Lego is way back and I had my own tricks in that time) When we have some money again we are (I am) very sure there will be more. (now lets hope some people will get me Lego for my Birthday)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Model of the AT-AT The AT-AT is one of my all-time favorite Star Wars vehicles. I've built the previous version of the Lego AT-AT and this version holds up well. I like how sturdy it is and the mobility of the legs is great. Building the legs gets a little tedious, but that's to be expected whenever you have a set that needs multiples of the same exact thing (in this case, 4 identical legs). My only complaint (and this is for all Lego sets that use this technique) is the discs that go on the leg joins are just held by the single stud and tend to fall off easily if you play with the model or try to pose it. I wish there was a more secure method of holding these things in place. That minor qualm aside, this is a fantastic set and looks menacing and intimidating when placed near your Lego Minifigs! My dream is that Lego will one day release an Ultimate Collectors set of this with like 3,000 pieces so that I can have a gargantuan AT-AT, just like in the movies. Please, Lego..... :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great built for star wars fans this built looks great when displayed. especially together with luke's snowspeeder. maybe a bit fragile for kids to play with. legs are stabile and movable, but might break when played with. anyway, worth every cent when displayed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice set Overall, I had a good time building this guy. It is priced well and has a good attention to detail. Looks great sitting above my fireplace. Legs are poseable, though can be difficult to get in place as the pieces at the joints pop off easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was amazed when I first saw this lego set because it looks so much better than the older ones, exept for it's size. the head is too big and the body is too small but there is a good amount of space inside for all the mini figures it comes with. The legs are nicely balanced so this set isn't gonna fall over. The outside plating looks nice, especially on the legs and feet. The build is my favorite part about this set because of all the Technic that's used in it. The mini figures are perfect for the set and every one of them are new. I just wish there was enough space for two of the AT-AT pilots like in the movie. The snow troopers are by far the best, even better than the commander snow trooper (even though there's barely a difference). Although the size is messed up, the AT-AT is still one of my favorite sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece for my desk I grew up on Star Wars as a kid and was an action figure junkie back in the day. Even though I'm an adult with all the adult responsibilities, I never grew out of my love for the original trilogy. In fact, my earliest memory of seeing a movie in the theater is the scene in Empire Strikes Back where the Rebel commander on the ground is looking through is binoculars, and sees the AT-AT foot coming down in the snow. I love to decorate my desk at work with items that reflect my personality, so naturally this set is a perfect fit. I spent about 3 hours over the course of two days putting this set together, and it was worth every minute and every penny that I paid for it. Maybe it's because I haven't built a set in a long time, but it did seem to be a bit on the challenging side. However, the nice part is that, as you might suspect, many of the build parts are symmetrical, which helps speed up the assembly process. The details are pretty good, and the inclusion of the five mini-figures is excellent. There is plenty of room in the body to place some mini-figures, and it's a very solid build overall. The head assembly leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of room, but it's not a show-stopper. I also picked up the Snow Speeder, because why not? I don't buy my sets for the purpose of playability, but I imagine that this would workout just fine for those that do. Looking forward to seeing more Hoth sets in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AT-AT The AT-AT Is moderately challenging. This star wars set is yet another very fun build. It has a great design becoming very rewarding at completion. The mini figures are great and the set is amazing. I highly recommend this set to any Lego star wars fan of any age.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase I'd wanted to get this set for a long time, I wasn't disappointed when I finally did. Loads of fun to build. It seems quite a lot of money for a set but was worth it overall. Looks great when it's built.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best AT-AT Yet! I honestly have never decided to purchase any of the previous AT-AT sets because they were not true to the design of the ones in the movies. I love Star Wars and you don't mess with that vibe! That being said, Lego finally got their heads in the game and designed an AT-AT worthy of George Lucas' own private collection. I know that's saying a lot, but this is one beautifully detailed walker with some nice features. Fully articulating legs with many joints for unique poses, moving head, cockpit with enough space for two mini-figs, two flick missiles, and a trap door for added fun. It's still not a perfect representation of the movie version, but it is by far the most accurate to date. The best part is my son loves to help me reenact the battle of Hoth with it and it doesn't fall apart--even with knocking it over and such. A great build, awesome design, and one happy father and son! Way to go, Lego!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. A++ This Lego was fun to build. It display great next to my other Star Wars Legos. But it was a little bit too easy for someone with my expertise. But overall, I loved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Lego Set I have ever gotten! The new 2014 AT-AT is so Tall it is as tall as my dog and is the tallest lego set I own! It comes with 5 cool minifigures that can all fit inside it. It goes great with the 2014 snowspeeder and the 2013 Battle of Hoth set and other Hoth sets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set This is a get set. The only issue that I have is how easy it is to break off the pieces when you are trying to move the legs. Other then that I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST LEGO SET EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The title tells most of it. First of all, they have new snow troopers and a nice exclusive commander. Features: In this set there is a small trap door. This trap door is easy to open and is a nice part of the set. The heads neck allowed the head to move around wildly and the legs are super sturdy and can bend easily. Its super shooters can shoot far and are a great function in the set. Over all, this set is one of the most sturdiest lego sets i have ever had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for Star Wars Fans I bought this for my 13 year old son for Christmas and he was thrilled to get it and built it right away. It stands 13" high and is pretty impressive with the movable legs and characters. He loves Star Wars Legos so I couldn't pass this one up. It's a must have for Star Wars collectors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rise of the Empire This set was an awesome present for me for Christmas. I love everything about it. The only thing I did not like was the fact that it only came with just Imperials, I would have preferred if it had come with at least one Rebel. Overall, this set is spectacular and a must have for any Star Wars or Imperial Fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOAH!!!! I got this for my upcoming birthday and I decided to start early. It had many bags and the minifig accessories get lost in everything else easily. But, I managed, and the out come was great!! It was much bigger than I expected, (which is a good thing), and it still managed to fit in my invaded city. The figures are cool to. But, the snowtrooper commando is unnecessary and should be replaced by another normal one to not confuse the children with the printing. Also, the "kilts" the snowtroopers wear is a pain to get on even more then the normal cape. I also think that they should have had some rebels or a new hoth han, but it works. I also added the big ol' cannon from Death Star troopers battle pack and it fits really well!!! All in all, I say 9.9/10. If there was a good guy, that go up by %12.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I waited for this version :) What else can I say... the one and only iconic and very AWESOME AT-AT! I'd recommend this to any fan, lots of fun to build and display (and play!) Spoil yourself; you know you're worth it! :) My 4 month old Son is fascinated by it, I'm just looking after it for him ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly good value, looks great! I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this set. The detail is brilliant, and the mini figures are really nifty. I wasn't entirely convinced by the snow troopers skirts though. Definitely recommend if your wallet can take the strain! (you'll know what i'm talking about if you see the price Australians have to pay for Lego)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding model and solid build I have the AT-AT from about 6 years back (#4483). I've always liked that model, but it's very fragile and not what I would call playable based on the build, especially the head area. Sides come off way too easy. I wanted a second AT-AT to add to my Hoth battle scene, so I went ahead and purchased this new version. Much to my surprise, this is such a huge improvement over the older version. The build is solid. Lines are nice and tight, the head unit is solid and won't come apart. The overall design is outstanding showing lots of detail. My only gripe is the inside of the body is bland, there is not real detail in there, but plenty of room to store a couple of mini-figs. Also, I love the spring loaded laser guns...they fly about 20 feet! This is a great set and a kid would have a fun time playing with this model. It's definitely solid enough to play with. Now...if they would only make a large scale Ultimate Collectors Series I would be even happier!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A fun build for the iconic @@ I've missed out on earlier models of the AT-AT, so I picked this one up fast. It was a fun build, like most of this season's Star Wars sets (although I'm all grayed out). The minifigures are great, I just wish there was more space inside the AT-AT for figures or playability for the trap (harpoon gun and rope for Luke). Overall I say a must for any Lego Star Wars fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At at this set is one of the best star wars sets in 2014! great mini figures just wish it came with a snow speeder or some more minifigs because five minifigs to 110 dollars is a bit lax. another thing about minifigs why the mtt gets 12 minifigs and this 5? this set is good looking it doesn't take as long as it looks because a lot of the sides are panels on hinges. i wish there were more functions to it really. the trap door is good but i don't really know what to do with is it for luke to throw a bomb in? does luke chop the bottom and the figure falls out? is it to deploy troopers? just seems like we should get something else functional. i know so far my review has sounded somewhat negative but i really like this set. the only reason for 4 stars on play-ability is because it lacks the functions besides that great set

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Want more! I found this build to be a little more challenging as it seems to have more of a Technic build to it, which I'm not familiar with. I enjoyed it very much and love how sturdy the AT-AT is. I want more as I prefer to display them, and would like to have a few walking. Great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ATAT Love the detail in this model and the door dropping open with the slight movement its brilliant. I found it easy to build but at my level I would expect that. Great detail and I the way the legs work I found very steady. I read a review that said unsteady on legs and didn't stand on three legs ..... this is untrue the legs will move to any position and as long as you have at least 3 legs on the ground then it will stand very solid.. I love this and recommend this iconic model to all....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good A very good set not as good as the 2011 one but the outside of the model looks very good. The snowtroopers have been redesigned and look more accurate and the other figures are good as well.It could have been £10 quid cheaper.I thought the model would be unstable but it is not at all.A good kit to go on a scene or just to have around the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best 2014 Set! I had great fun building this set. It is extremely sturdy and very well constructed. The legs can be put in loads of different positions, which really bring this piece to life. The size and shape is just about perfect to the reality of the films and the mini figures can sit in the cockpit just like in the film. I only have one very small niggle......The head can be moved side to side, put the side panels stop the moment which is my only niggle!! and....just as i was putting the final pieces together, I realised I had used a dark piece instead of a light piece somewhere in the build, which was really annoying....I wish the booklet was more clear on which colour to use, and as there is only 2 very similar, maybe they could number them?!?.....that was 2 small niggles!!!!! Overall a really great piece to my collection. I also had to buy the Snowspeeder to go with with.....a must!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AtAt Iconic set. Been after an AT AT for my collection for a while now and was so pleased when this was announced. Now I have built it I thought I would rate it under the mullzzss scale. Price 8/10 Little pricey in my opinion Build 8/10 Bit tedious but I suppose anything with four legs is going to be Finished Model 9/10 Very nice to be honest. would have been a 10 but my feelings is its an AT AT and should be bigger. Playability 10/10 All kids whatever age will love this iconic model. Sum Good build , nicely detailed and excellent for the kids. Now give us a UCS version that was be awesome. Overall good job

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best summer set 2014 I love this set i love it.Is big and it isnt very expensive compared with the new Imperial star destryoer. A lot of goods pieces, technich pieces and very good minifigs. Pros: The new figures, the now snowtrooper is the best figure that i have seen in a lot of years, except General Grievous. Good size and prize. But i dont like the new launchers. I think that in the body we find a big hole that can be harnessed. It is a good set.I recomended it Sorry for my English,i am from spain

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AT-AT Loveliness I think the new AT-AT is great. He looks amazing when built. As a huge fan of Star Wars and Lego it's perfect. He is quite a complex build with lots of fiddly 'technic' type pieces to support and allow movement of its component parts. My fingers were a bit sore after. The first part built is the internal body anatomy and the neck. It really doesn't look like anything much at this stage. The legs are next to be built and I built all four at the same time simultaneously rather than building one then starting over with the instructions again. The final part is the external body 'skin' and his head. His body and head opens to contain the minifigures. His legs bend but he wont walk/stand on three legs as he will fall over. There are five minifigures with this set. I'm not convinced about the 3 Snow Troopers 'skirts' they look a bit funny to me, especially from behind, but I guess it's hard to replicate the uniform. The minifigures are OK but the main star of the box is really the AT-AT. The poster is good with a 'AT-AT scene' on one side and Star Wars Minifigures list on the reverse. The Star Wars film was on the weekend I built this and he really does look like a film extra!
