Rated 5 out of 5 by from Batman!...what are you doing at the beach?? Awesome set. It is a really good price and it has super cool minifigures. The robot penguins are cool too, but the dynamite is not a good accessory for them to have. They really look better with guns--I used the double-barreled laser guns(the ones that Black Widow uses) and that made the robots way better. Robots always make good henchmen,in my opinion. The vehicles are really really cool, especially Batman's minisub. The Penguin's duck is hilarious!! a duck! with missiles! its just to good...a super high tech minisub versus...a duck. The little bit of the iceberg is a nice bonus. Batman's scuba suit is so awesome. The new face design with the blue visor is a nice change to all the black and grey Batman suits that come in all the other sets. The Penguin's outfit is better than the older ones, the purple made him look insane...well I guess he's supposed to look like that, anyway, it looks better. Overall awesome set. Very much worth buying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase This Lego set is brilliant and well designed, but I would also like to complement Lego's excellent customer service, I recived an incorrect part and within a day of emailing customer service a replacement was sent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from new penguin when I saw this set I thought WOW! the penguin, batman's aqua suit, and the penguin goons is what made me want this set and i dare say that the scubabat (that is what i call the scuba vehicle 'cause what's a batman vehicle without the word bat in it?) and the duck boat is makes it such a good set, now on to the minifigures. The Penguin: this, as you should know is a new version of the penguin with his fur coat, new umbrella, and the remote. good printing too. Batman: the aqua suit is my personal favorite suit the best thing about the suit is the head printing. sometimes i like to have the goggled side of the head in the front, take off the batman mask, and pretend that he is a robot. the rest of him is printed extremely well especially the blue batsignal. Scubabat: this is a very good vehicle, and some of you probably have read the other reviews and they all say that the flippers wont let batman's legs in, well they aren't supposed to, if you really want them to go in you could make one leg go back, and the other go forward Duck boat: one of my favorite vehicles i like to turn it into a weird looking boat, but that's just me. i think one of my favorite things about it is that this is my first set with a boat. All the other stuff: one thing about the penguins is i like them too much to really explode them, and i can't say much for a nine piece iceberg.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! This was a really nice set. I will begin with vehicles. The bat jetski is a nice little vehicle, except that Batman does not fit on too well with his flippers. It has cool missiles, and a different color scheme than most of the other bat vehicles. The penguin's boat is nice, though I don't know why it is a duck, not a penguin. The ice is a good stand for the diamond. Now for the figures. Batman is in a cool scuba suit for diving underwater, and he has a harpoon gun instead of a batarang. The penguin is in a variation of his costume, wearing a parka, but he still looks good. The penguins are good, and they come with dynamite. I recommend this set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "I have a name! Oswald Cobblepot!"- Penguin Hey users! Mastrbildrspek here with my review of Batman: The Penguin Face-off! Now, because this is a small set, I'll try to make this a short review: Scuba Speeder: Pretty good. It features a handle bar for Batman to hold on to, a place to put his harpoon, and fins on the back and front of it. My only complaint is that Batman doesn't fit on very well because of his flippers. Otherwise, a good build! 7/10! Duck Boat: I was surprised when I found out LEGO added this feature; it's Penguin's duck boat from Batman Returns! It features a propeller, flick missiles, and a steering wheel. 10/10! Batman (Scuba): A brand new variant of the Caped Crusader; he's fully outfitted to battle the Penguin in this scuba suit; complete with a reversible head showing blue goggles and a scuba mask. His suit is colored blue (and the circle around his bat-symbol), and is printed with scuba gear. He also has one of the Aqua Raiders air tank pieces. 10/10 bricks! Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin This is the minifig I really wanted in this set; the Batman Returns version of Penguin (as far as I can tell, he looks really similar)! Instead of his classic black white and purple outfit, he's wearing a fur coat. He also comes with a new umbrella (no new pieces, it just has ha brown shaft instead of a black one), and a remote control for the two penguins (also very good)! 10/10 bricks! All in all. I give it a 10/10, hope you guys enjoyed! Until next time, Mastrbildrspek

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT set! The only reason I bought this set was because I really likes the Pinguin minifigure. After building it, I was really surprised of how good it was. Pros -2 unique minifigures -nice compact duck vehicle -works great with the Arctic Batman set cons -Batmans vehicle is a little bland

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aspects Of Greatness This Lego DC Super-Heroes Set is one of a kind! Firstly you get two great mini figures including The Penguin who comes with an umbrella and SCUBA Batman, both being exclusives. Along with these great mini figures you get two little penguins with dynamite, a block of ice where a stolen diamond lies, The Bat-Ski, and the Penguins iconic vehicle being a huge Duck which runs like a boat. The Duck in this set is by far the most interesting thing about it and reminds us very much of the vehicle used by The Penguin in 1992's Batman Returns. This is why I really recommend this set to anyone who's a fan of Batman, it is worth every cent, you get an awesome new suit for Batman, The Penguin, and The Batman's Jet Ski! The only thing wrong with this set is that if you haven't any other Batman Lego to put along with it, you may get bored of playing with it. Still, it's a great piece to just look at and Lego Batman fans are sure to adore it. See you next time for more Lego DC Super-Heroes and Lego Marvel Super-Heroes reviews.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You're going down, Penguin. I didn't collect too many Batman sets up until this last wave. I think these are some of the best they've made, all with only a few kinks. This one in particular had an especially low amount. There's enough seperate builds in here to make thirteen dollars at least seem reasonable. SCUBA JET: Not a bad little vehicle. If they had made the Batcave as big as the original back in 2006, there would be room for all these vehicles. For whatever reason, it reminds me of a Dino sort of build. It's simple, quick, and only has two flick missiles, but I like it. DUCK VEHICLE: Just went blank on its official name. The Penguin submarine would be better than a strange, giant duck, but oh well. It's not terrible either, lacking any other features but flick-fire missiles. For this reason, the entire set is a bit low on playability unless you're younger, but there's three other cool sets out there to go with it. MINIFIGURES: -Scuba Batman: He's an exclusive figure. His head itself is in scuba mask, as well as his torso. He has a dark blue mask and suit, and is armed with a harpoon. Another suit to add to the Hall of Bat-Armor. There would have been a place for all this, too, if that old Batcave had just been bigger. Of course, given these new years, it would have just raised the price. Sigh. -Penguin: His version is different from Arkham Asylum and is therefore exclusive as well. He has the same head, with an evil grin and an eyeglass. He is in a top hat, and wears a fur coat and suit with his umbrella. With him is two brickbuilt penguin minions (I love these guys) and a chunk of ice with a diamond. OVERALL: This is a good little set that goes with any other Batman sets and has exclusive figures at a very low price. I'd recommend it especially to the kids that are younger and don't do as many bigger builds. Okay, thanks very much for reading, and until next time: goodnight and party on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Penguin VS Scuba Batman Great set. Nice way to get two new minifigs, Scuba Batman and Penguin, and two small vehicles, the Duck and Scuba Sled, and don't forget the penguin minions. Nitpicks are few: 1. Wheels for the duck. 2. A printed console for the scuba sled(just a small one, two dots). 3. Scuba sled is a little square in the back (maybe a small intake in the rear to direct the water into the jet engine and make it less blocky(Bruce would have the technology). Great way to get a later Penguin; forget the nitpicks and pick this one up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super fun and easy set. The penguins are really cute and fun! Only downside is Batman doesn't have his beloved cape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to the sets I won't waste your time telling you how good the parts of this set are, you can already see that! Points I think that aren't apparent are that the Bat-Sled will actually balance on it's own, but with Batman holding the grips and legs bent back, will actually balance well especially if he has the flippers on. This makes a good display piece but the fins will come off with children playing. The star of the set is no doubt the Penguin and his items, the only downside here is the lack of wheels on the Duck-tank itself; this is inspired by the Duck out of 1991's Batman Returns which had three pair of wheels underneath. One thing about this Penguin and Duck is they are a great addition to the Fun-house Escape set - the Duck and Penguin fit right in along with the robot penguins. The Penguin himself also has a better printing with his fur coat compared to the one in the Arkham Asylum set in my opinion. Another nice touch is that the eyes of the Duck vehicle are actually printed on, not stickers! LEGO continues to work wonders with these small first level sets, and its a shame really that they haven't seen the light and released two or three per round of releases as I think they would easily sell and not cut into purchases at a higher level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, the Penguin in a cheap set I have wanted Penguin since i missed out on the 2006 Batman sets and the pricey 2013 Arkham Asylum... and now it is here. Pros: Penguin New variant Batman 2 cool penguin robots Fantastic vehicles Rare (sort of) teal/blue diamond Cons: Why would there be any? It is PERFECT!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best Batman sets yet. This is a really good set, I think it is worth it all the way. If you are a Batman/ super heroes fan, buy it. Batman: This is a new variant of the dark knight, he is in his scuba gear, and is really cool, he has new face and torso printings, and the blue batman mask is a new mold compared to the bat cave/ fun house escape. The only problem is that his flippers are bulky, and with them on he cant fit on right on his vehicle. 9/10 The Penguin: This is a new version of the penguin, in this one he has a fur coat, grey short legs, a black umbrella, and a remote. 10/10 Robot Penguins: This is the newest version of the penguins , they have antennas on their head, and dynamite, I wish they had guns instead, but they are still cool. 8/10 Iceberg thing: this is kind of pointless in this set, it is a 9 piece build, and is probably good to show off the diamond, and a background piece. 6/10 The Duck: This is the reason I bought This set, I personally believe it is based off of the 1992 film Batman Returns, I don't know what to say, except that is the eye candy of the set. 10/10. Batmans vehicle: This is a nice design for a batman vehicle, it holds the harpoon well, and has a printed batman piece. 8/10 This is a great set, Batman Returns fans will love it, super heroes fans will enjoy it, but it is worth buying for the penguin and his duck vehicle. Overall this set gets an 8.5/10 from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great little set the mini figures included are excellent, the penguin especially as he is one of my favourite batman villains of all time and really looks like the character. right down to the face with his monocle and of course the trademark umbrella, also included are two penguins with radio control and dynamite. the scuba batman is also a good mini figure, a new suit to add to the growing collection, the dual face printing has a rebreather on one face and none on the other so he can be used both as if in water or on land, which for kids actually playing with the product will add to the realism. includes air tanks, flippers and a harpoon weapon. the penguins duck-boat features a spinning propeller and flick missiles, it is a well designed model and really looks like the penguins duck boat from the movie and comics. the eyes finish off the duck really well and give it an awful lot of character. batmans mini-sub also features flick missiles so a shoot out is possible during play. another well designed vehicle in the batman collection. the colouring is well thought out too, and with a printed bat logo rather than a sticker. also included is a mini ice berg with a diamond. so a full playset for kids buying this even if its their first batman lego set, it will have a decent play value once built. also reasonably priced considering the amount of features in a small set. id definitely recommend this product to anyone either looking to start a batman lego collection or those who already have other sets. cant think of anything id say thats missing to enhance play value and for me personally looks great on the shelf with the rest of my collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Brilliant Builds: 'Batman's Scuba Vehicle' is a pretty small but neat build, complete with flick-fire missiles. The bat-symbol on the front of the vehicle is printed, which is always a bonus. The dark blue colours also make a comeback, this time to fit in with Batman's dark blue scuba suit. 'Penguin's Duck Boat' is another great little build, particularly for some of the older lego fans who remember the Batman Returns film and the part it plays in that. It has a propeller on the back and more flick-fire missiles, which although seem unnecessary, actually work well with the finished look of the boat. The penguins and iceberg are all pretty straight forward but great additions to the set. Minifigures: Penguin is wearing a furry winter coat which is different from the Arkham Asylum minifig, however it does mean you don't have to spend as much to get your hands on the Penguin. Scuba Batman was always going to be a great minifigure, but I was really surprised by just how great. Not only do we get the new mask in dark blue but the minifig head underneath has a different twist on the double sided theme - one side has an underwater scuba mask. If you look at the image closely enough you can see it, it was something I missed upon first inspection. It has lots of potential for MOCs and in a set this cheap it has lots of potential. Final Thoughts: Great minifigures, great builds, great price. Whether buying as a gift for someone, as an addition to your collection or even just for some of the unique parts, you really can't make a mistake buying this set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unique! I really think this set is great! The minifigures are unique and both are exclusive, Penguin looks like himself in the DC superheores game (recent one), and has been redesigned compared to what he looked like in Arkham asylum, overall a great edition. Scuba Batman is cool, great edition to the Batman collection, the design is great and it flows well. Batmans Scuba vehicle is reasonable, I like the design and it looks different from the polybag which featured a batman jet ski. The missiles work ok, the two penguins are awesome to have and I'm glad lego put them in, they make a good edition to the set and are cool. Penguins duck boat is funny, brings back memories of him in the Batman movie, It's great its the duck and not like a boat, very original. I think this set is quite original, Theres not much to say about the diamond but It's nice to have it. Overall all this set is great, The cheaper DC sets are often the best, and normally have exclusive minifigures. Promising for the future of DC lego!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid little set Excellent value for money. This is a step up from what I'd usually expect from one of these less expensive sets. Both vehicles are creatively designed and fun to build, with the unconventional uses of pieces lego designers employ more and more often these days. I suspect they'd encourage hours of play in small hands. For collectors there are numerous references to comics and movies here, from the Penguin harking back to Batman Returns to the aquatic bat-suit that suggests Batman's first appearance in the Loeb/Turner run on the Batman/Superman series (at least to me - I'm sure there are other interpretations; and having read that back it sure sounds geeky!). Very impressed with this set - good stuff

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a set!!!! This set is just amazing. I mean the new batman is just amazing and the Penguin as well looks like the one from the new batman game (not the lego one). And finally we have got Penguin robot droids. We've been waiting for years to get them again and the Penguins vehicle from the movie Batman returns is amazing and same with the bat vehicle. Overall the best £10 lego batman set there is.
