Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the price i got this set mainly for nightwing but when i built it, the batcopter is clearly the best thing about this set

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favorites I absolutely love this lego set, it has the exclusive minifigs of Nightwing, and Man-Bat, and the the batcopter is new and exclusive to this set. Overall: 9.5/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Nice Set for Nightwing fans The main reason to get this set would be the Nightwing minifigure with the red emblem. This is the only version of Nightwing in red so far. The Batman minifigure is the same as the one that comes with most DC Superhero sets and Man-Bat is unique but probably wouldn't be top on most people's Batman villain list. The Bat-coptor has some nice play features and is a fun build. Nightwing's glider is ok but pretty simple.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Dark Night In Gotham The Man-Bat Attack set is probably the weakest of the other Batman sets for 2014 but is still an epic one! Finally one of our many anticipations for Batman Lego mini-figures has arrived with Man-Bat, who's a great mini-figure in my opinion, he reminds me very much of the Man-Bat in the comics but most especially from Batman: The Animated Series. Kirk Langstrom was a scientist suffering from deafness before coming up with a cure from a bats DNA to cure his fading hearing. Although something imbalanced about the serum caused him to transform into a bat like creature, ultimately becoming one of Batman's tougher foes. The Nightwing mini-figure returns to this set, last appearing in the old 2006 version of Arkham Asylum. He is now equipped with a pretty awesome glider and a new red suit which reminds me of Robin's suit in Batman & Robin (1997). Batman is the same old yellow and black here but comes in his wicked Bat-Copter equipped with flick missiles and a rope to capture the Man-Bat. Anyway a good, fun set but lacks the wow factor that the other Batman lego sets of this year brought. And yes, by that I'm saying that even the smaller set, The Penguin's Face-Off is more satisfying for its price and playability. Tune in next time for the review of: Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider Trike VS Electro

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Air Action! This set is great for a Batman fan such as myself! All the figures are awesome, especially the rare Nightwing and Man-Bat with his new arm pieces. The helicopter looks very cool and is fun to play with. The only huge con for this set is that Nightwing has no weapon(s).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Batman: Manbat Attack Another amazing set. Minifigures first. Batman sports his black suit, so I'll skip him. Nightwing is great. I had the original blue one, untill it was stolen, so it is a great replacement. He has exclent printing and his hair piece is great. Manbat is amazing. He has the same wings and hair as the bats from Monster Fighters. His printing is amazing. Now the vehicles. Nightwings glider is a nice piece, I honestly scrapped it for parts and built his bike. The Batcopter is a very fun build. The cockpit opens up and reveals some detailed bricks. The missiles are good, and have great movement. Overall great set. SPOILER 2: I have recently discovered that in 2015 the Emerald Knight himself, Mr. Green Lantern, will make his appearence as a Lego figure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good This set is pretty cool! Depending on how imaginative you are, you can probably play with this set for hours! Here are a few pros and cons about this set: Pros: - 3 minifigures (Batman - black and yellow suit, Nightwing - super awesome, Man-Bat - really cool figure) - Batcopter...pretty cool for a $20 set, can move propellors -Nightwing's glider is awesome Cons: - Man-Bat is just kind of there and looks a little silly - I wish it had a little gargoyle for Man-Bat to perch on, you know where he can hunt Batman. Overall, this is a pretty cool set and definitely recommend it to all Batman fans and LEGO fans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You're going down, Man-Bat. Here's another great Batman set. While not a huge fan of Man-Bat as a villain, I felt pressed to get this to go with all the others. BATCOPTER: I like it better than the old one. Features include: the cockpit, spinning blades, flick missiles, and grappling hook that works something like the snowspeeder. Of course, it presents the problem all Bat-vehicles do, and that is the bending and ruining of the cape when you put Batman inside for too long. Just take it from me, and remove the cape first. This is a sturdy build and ultimately one of my favorite modern Bat-vehicles. NIGHTGLIDER: This isn't a bad glider. I certainly like it better than Batman's. It has no real features, though the grapple hooks on it suggest it could fire something perhaps? It is made of red and black pieces and has jet exhaust on it. MINIFIGURES: -Batman: Same old, same old. He's in his black outfit with yellow belt and Bat-symbol. His face is serious or grinning, and he has his standard mask and cape. He comes with a Batarang. -Nightwing: We haven't seen him since 2006 in the old Arkham Asylum, so I know a whole lot of people will be excited about this. He has that cool hairdo (in black) that came with the Sleepyhead and Soccer Player figures. He has a black mask with red eyes and a determined battle grin. He has a black and red suit that closely resembles his old one, save for the old one was blue. Instead of red. Cool figure to have, certainly if you're lacking Robin (hope not). -Man-Bat: Some like him, some don't. I'm not one that likes him. However, I do have to say he makes for a cool minifigure. His torso and head look very mutant-ish, with brown, furry printing. He has fangs and a demon face with a large-eared mold. His arms are the coolest part, since they have wing mold on them, and a different curved look. I think these have appeared before, but I know they're rare and it's probably been a while since they have. He also wears dark blue pants. OVERALL: I do think that this set matches well the twenty dollar price, which is very rare any such thing would work like that. The Batcopter is all new from six years ago, and many of you will go crazy over the return of Nightwing and the debut of Man-Bat. I say go for it! So, until next time: thanks for reading, goodnight and party on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Batman VS Manbat This set is awesome! I have never been so impressed in a small set before. Batman was the same as other sets but the rest of the characters are awesome. Manbat is a great edition to the set and this set is the first set to have a Manbat! The only thing about Manbat that is bad is the arms, you can't put them down. But if you have brown arms you can snap off the wings and put the brown ones on and switch back when you want. Nightwing is amazing! This is a better Nightwing than the old one and is from the new 52 series, he has great details too. The batcopter is awesome. With it I now have a vehicle that can carry other things around. Great set i highly advise you to get it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New 52 Nightwing! Really great set! I like how Lego is basing a lot of new stuff on New 52. Nightwing's great, the hair is definitely better than the previous version of him. Batman's great as always. Man Bat is really neat too, I like how they used the same wings from Lego Monster Fighters. I hate the Nightwing jet pack though. Should've put him on a motor cycle or something. The Bat-Copter itself is great. It's just really great. Keep it up, lego!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good set This is a really good set to buy, you get 2 exclusive mini figures and new vehicles, this is not the best $20 set of all time, but worth it. Batman : This is the normal Batman that you get in the majority of the DC Universe Lego sets, he is good in all. 8/10 Nightwing: It has been 8 years since he was released, so is one of the main reasons why I bought this set, I am not a huge fan of the red nightwing, but this is the reason a collector may buy this set, but the biggest problem I have with him, is where are his stick things he uses? It would have so easy to give him two sith lightsaber blades. 8/10. Man-bat: I was a bit disappointed by this minifigure, It is not terrible, but could have been way better, his printing is good, but i wish he had leg printings, like the werewolf type of printing with ripped pants. 7/10 Nightwings glider thing: This is second Nightwing vehicle next to his nightcycle, There is no way to stand this up right, and the sticker appears to be upside down, overall good, and highly recommended for nightwing fans. 8/10 Batcopter: this is the main course of the set, this vehicle has flick fire missiles, and a search light, has wheels on the bottom, and two spinning propellers. 9/10. Again, not the best set ever, but still good. Overall rating: 8/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NIGTHWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow this set is AMAZING. Finally we get another nightwing, his last apperance was in 2007 and i wasnt into legos back then. His figure is amazing. I like how they put him in his new 52 costume because it is awesome, i am a huge fan of the comics so it is great to see this. The only 2 problems no escrima sticks and the hair is not like the comics :( . Man bat is a niffty figure but i dont like the wings for arms, i would have liked to see them on his back. the bat copter is cool but i like to put robin in instead of batman. Overall this set is amazing but it is definately minifig driven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great purchase i think the the man bat attack is a great choice for the lego batman lovers. and if you love robin than your love this set. now i will admit, why does batman need a helicopter? he already has a plane. and lego is coming out with a new set which comes with another plane for batman. there are three reasons i bought this set: 1: it comes with nightwing 2: it comes with man bat 3: i geuss the helicopter is kinda cool

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic!! Let's start off with nightwing. He an amazing addition to 2014 and I like the fact he's red know. Now man-bat. He's is the exact same thing as the monster fighter bat. Still he's an amazing addition too. Next up we have the batcopter. I personally like it better than the old one because it has the hook. That raps it up. P.S:I love nightwing's jetpack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome set This is one of my favorite dc sets behind arkham asylum, and the fun house escape. We get some great figures, and some great builds Man-bat: A great, new figure. He has the same torso as the man-bats from the monster fighters line, and i believe the same hairpiece. (slicked back with ears) He has two faces, one with an evil grin, and one with a confused, or disoriented face. Man-bat also has 2 pieces of dynamite. 9.6/10 Batman: the same batman in the bat-wing battle, and two-face chase. Nothing new, just all black, with a batarang 7.9/10 nightwing: my favorite figure in this set. nightwing is just amazing with his frazzled hair, and red nightwing logo on his chest. He has 2 faces, on smiling and one angry. Only con with him is that he has no escrima sticks. 9.8/10 One build aside from the bat-copter is nightwings glider. It's a modest little glider, with 2 hooks, and a nightwing logo on the back. 9.5/10 The main part of the set is the bat-copter. it is a black helicopter with a winch in the back. that is on of my favorite parts. it can lower and raise, whatever u want to do with it. in the front is a spotlight, and of course, flick missiles. What would a Lego set be without flick missiles. There is room for one figure in the cockpit, with little to no room for the batarang to be stored. overall, the bat-copter gets a 9.0/10. This set retails for $20 pros: great mini figures. love the glider. the winch on the bat-copter cons: nightwing gets no accessories no room for batarang in the copter overuse of batman in the dc universe line. overall: 8.3/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Night-shhhhwing! Builds: The Batcopter was always gonna be one of my favourites, but until it was built I didn't realise just how much. The overall design is good but much more than that, it has a working winch and hook. This opens up the play options outside of the set, which I really like. It does feature flick-fire missiles, but if you really want they're easy to take off. The other part of this set is Nightwing's Glider. For the price they could have given some random scenery or made up the piece count in some other way, however I'm glad they offered a vehicle for Nightwing. Sure it's no Batcopter, but it's definitely welcome. Minifigures: Batman! Generic! We get the same old suit, adding to our ever growing army of Batmen. Nothing special, nothing unsurprising either. Then there's Man-bat, who actually looks pretty good, but they just stuck some blue pants on the vampire bats we've seen before. The surprise (and real reason I bought this set) was Nightwing. By surprise, I mean Lego decided to base him on his new appearance in the new 52 comics, instead of the older style which we saw in the last Batman run. It's a brilliant figure and it makes this set worth the buy. Overall: The Batcopter is a nice addition to our ever-growing bat garage, and for those serious about collecting the superhero line you've probably already ordered this for Nightwing alone. As far as a gift goes, it's a very one sided fight in this set which affects playability, I would tend towards getting The Penguin Face Off or The Riddler Chase over this set, but it still has it's merits.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good set This is a good little set with two exclusive minifigures in. Batman is the same as previous sets Nightwing is a good minifig with a double sided head Man-Bat looks a lot like the bat creature from lego monster fighters The helicopter is alright, it has good uses of different elements but isn't overly creative. Nightwing's glider i don't think is needed as it doesn't add a lot to the set. Overall I think that this is a good set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meh, It's ok The only real reason to buy this set is for Nightwing. Minifigs: Batman- This is the classic JLA Batman, with a black costume and a yellow oval with his symbol inside. He comes with a cape, cowl, and two Batarangs as always. 8/10 Nightwing- This is the New 52 Nightwing. He's pretty cool, but he should've come with two red Kali (Those sticks he uses). It's easy to use two red lightsaber pieces as his Kali. 9/10 Man-Bat- It's just a brown bat with jeans and two bombs. The only real special thing is his arms and his hairpiece. 5/10 Vehicles: Batcopter- Flick missles and spinning helicopter blades. 3/10 Nightwing's Jetpack- Pretty cool, has a sticker on the back. 7/10 Overall: 8/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Batman takes flight to start 2014 Great new Batman set to begin 2014. Nice to see a few new figures in Nightwing and Man-Bat. Nightwing's glider is pretty solid. Like the Man-Bat figure with wings built in to the arms. The best part of the set is the bat copter. Very sleek design and different than any of the other copters (Joker, Magneto/Deadpool & Mandarin) that have been released recently. Without question Batman has the best vehicles in the 'Super Heroes' collections. IE … Batmobles, Batwing, Batboat Batcycle and Bat. Keep it up them coming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!!! what a set When I first saw this set, I knew it would be a great set, and I was right! When I saw the bat boat last year I knew, we we're getting a bat copter as it was one of the finial main bat vehicles. And the copter is amazing. If your a huge batman fan and a lego fan as well, ths years and last years batman waves in my opinion are the best lego batman sets there are. Any way to the set, We've got NIGHTWING!!!!!!!!!! We have been waiting 7 years to get him again. He is in the new 52 suit and makes me love this set even more. MAN-BAT!!!! The first time we get him. And Overall just a set which will look amazing any where you put it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Batcopter to the rescue! This set is an awesome addition to anyone's DC collection. I like the size of the copter because it looks agile and powerful. The winch in the back is also very nice and can reach very far. Pros: Nightwing, size, spotlight in the front, Manbat, and Nightwing's jetpack Cons: When I flick the propellers they always break off, that might just be how I spin them though, and how Nightwing does not have any weapons
Date published: 2014-01-03
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! I really love this set, for a start you get Night wing, a long anticipated minifigure to get another release and return! And you also get ManBat, a villain who is exclusive to this set, and we have not seen him before! Who's next? Clayface? Mothman? The min figures as I've already mentioned are fantastic, Nightwing design is great, different to how he looked many years ago in his first lego set. Man Bat obviously looks like many other minifigures from lego, ManBat from the lego Minifigures collection and ManBat from lego monsters. Batman looks the same as always, nothing to say about him. The Batcopter is a great edition to the Bamtan vehicle collection, the design is good and the missiles work ok. he vehicle is quite tough and was easy to build without any fuss. Nightwings jet pack is awesome! It really goes well with him and fits in. Overall the set is great, Love the minifigures. I think in the future we need to see less chase sets and see some laboratory's or something similar, like a villain hideout, similar to the fun house but base it on different villains.
