Rated 2 out of 5 by from A swing and a miss... Ok, so let's get started with this set. First of all, this is more of a swing and a miss type of set, as you may of experienced some low-class set's as well. Thing is, I do very hate to criticize lego, from they're hard made set's, but I am sorry, this one is just not those good sets. So let's first get started with the Mini Figures… Spiderman: Yes it is your average Spider-Man! He is not anything special, as he is the same old, same old. He has no variation to him, so you can get him from any set, and have no difference. Electro: So I am guessing you got this set for Electro, or just to collect, or for the sinister six, Or just to review…so Electro is the main bonus to this set, because this is his first appearance in Lego. He has some nice transparency to him, and has a nice look in general. Now, to the small build of the set. This build is highly priced, and I dislike that very much, but I guess I got to get it for the review. So let's begin with the Spiderman Trike: Spider-Trike: Ok, I have not once in my life seen Spider-man use a trike in the middle of a Battle between one of his foes, nor have I seen a person use a trike on a road, but this is Lego were talking about here, or Juniors. Now, the Electro thingy: So this is I guess decent but it is a bit much to add. This 'floating thingy' has not much to it, but it does add a little thing to it, to stand up from the electric beams, so I get that and it is not that bad. After all, this set is not that good of a lego set, and if you do buy it, you will want to sell the trike, as you will not use it once if you are a 'playing type lego collector' or if you are a 'displayer' I guess not then, but if you are buying spiderman, as someone else might of said, don't get it from this set, and get it from a set worth it. So overall rating is: D- 2.7/10 Well, I hope my advice has helped you towards not buying, or buying, and I may of been wrong, but again, this is my opinion. See you later on the next review!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic Minifigs The set is small but its only for 12 dollars so it doesn't really matter. The Spider-Trike is pretty good. The Electro is outstanding!!! I have been waiting for more Spider-man villains to be in Lego and I finally got them. The charter is really useful in creating Spider-man battle scenes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad Vibes Electro To begin this review, I just wanna say that I'm a huge Spider-Man fan, and love the recent Lego items we've been receiving of the character. The Lego items however are based off the relatively new show: ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN. This set was released this year and goes for about 20 dollars here in Australia which is really over-priced seeing you only get two mini-figures, a vehicle and pretty much nothing else except Electro's flying electrical platform. When you compare it to the Penguin Face-Off set which came out this year as well, for the same amount of money, Penguin Face-Off is much more satisfying on many levels including that fact that it includes more vehicles and play features, which this set lacks. On the up-side though, we get the translucent Electro who's just awesome in this set and reminds you very much of Jamie Foxx's live performance of the character in the second installment of Marc Webb's rebooted Spider-Man franchise: The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise Of Electro (2014). The Spider-Man mini-figure is the same as we've been seeing for the past 2 years and I really think this set should have included an Electric-Proof suit for Spidey. If Batman gets a Scuba-Suit in Penguin Face-Off, I can't see why this set wasn't treated with the same medicine. The fact that both these sets are the same amount of money, its crazy how one can lack so much more than the other. The Spider-Trike is also a mess, what on Earth is it supposed to be, it looks awkward, along with that, this vehicle doesn't even exist in the show! So Lego just took it upon themselves to create something NEW themselves, its just lazy, rather add like a little building or something, maybe a few power grids or something to match with Electro.. But No. The only real thing I bought this set for was Electro, other than that this set is just very simple and bland! Anyway, I'm KravenHunter64 and I'll be seeing you guys in my next review: "The Monster of Man-Bat"...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Electro!!! First off we have spider-man who is pretty cool with back and front printing on the torso as usual,,then you have electro who was done very well in my opinion, great printing on torso and legs and he has transparent blue arms which are pretty cool and the same with the head which is transparent!electro also comes with a lightning stick for a weapon as well as a little floaty thing that he can stand on....which actually looks like a tornado under him if you spin it!then there is the spider-trike which is more like a quad,it has flick missiles and a thing to throw spider-man of his trike which works decently,if you are big lego super hero collector this sets only draw is really electro....as we already have a spider-bike which is similar to this trike and as you probably already have a few spider-mans in you collection,i also think it would have been cool to get the classic electro to,for the causal fan who maybe does not have spider-man this is a decent buy, overall this set is decent,i think it is overpriced as a whole set....but as most of you will be getting this just for electro so ya,for some he may be worth this price and to some he may not,so its kind of hard as to whether i should recommend this or not,but i my opinion electro is worth it,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Little Starter Set This was one of the first sets that we bought for my son and what started his Lego obsession! The set itself is small but fantastic for a new starter and not at all complicated to build, even for young children. The Electro figure is very detailed and my son especially likes the stand and the electric currents. The only criticism of this set would be for the trike, as the back wheels seem a little fragile, and it does require frequent reassembly after vigorous play. I have since bought another set for a friends son and would definitely recommend again

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Electro yes set no The spider trike VS Electro is a good way to get an awesome Minifig..... Electro. This is so far the only set to feature Electro. After seeing the recent Spider-man Movie I just had to Buy this set. However on close inspection to The Ultimate Spider-man Comics It is plain to see this set has Nothing! Nothing! to do with the Movie. The spider trike is really just another motor bike for sale. It really doesn't assist Spidey anywhere in comic books or movies. However for smaller or younger builders it is a good way to get a generic Spider-man at a cheap price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like The Movie I personally thought this set was just like the movie: The Amazing Spiderman 2. It features a simple battle between Electro and Spiderman. I think that LEGO did a great job on the Electro minifigure. It has this neat, blue, translucent head with white printing. Another cool feature is the little glider type object that Electro is riding. If you adjust the little electric pieces, Electro stands all on his own. The little green jewel is a cool touch. I'd prefer a blue one (It matches Electro more). The Spiderman figure is very well done as well. Very detailed printing on both the back and the front. I'm not a big fan of the trike but it's a nice addition. I mostly like the figures. Overall it's a good set. You should definitely add it to your Marvel Super Heroes collection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't you know? I'm Electro. This set, though very, very small, brings to light something I've been wanting to say. I really wish that several of the Spider-Man sets made could have been traded in for Spider-Man sets from the two new movies. This one came closer than any others, as it included one of the main villains from Amazing Spiderman 2. That's all why I got it. SPIDER-TRIKE: Unfortunately, Spider-Man is downed by all these vehicles being made for him. Now, the real fault goes to the cartoons, but LEGO could fix it if they had made stuff from the movie. This has one wheel in the front and two spread out far in the back. Spider-Man can sit on it to drive. Cut, dry, the end as it goes. I feel as if Spider-Man's dignity is lowered every time they give him a vehicle, as if to say his swinging through the city on webs is old school. There's plenty of cooler vehicles out there. MINIFIGURES: -Spider-Man: Old webhead has been made enough times for us all to recognize him. He's got blue legs, and red Spider printing on his torso and head. He has large eyes for the cartoony look, also a spider on the front and back, and web printing on the outfit. -Electro: One of my favorite Spider-Man villains and a great addition to my group. He's got lots of lightning pieces attached at his legs and has an almost translucent look to him. Great villain, the highlight of the set. OVERALL: This set is cheap and easy, and it's only good point is Electro and Spidey, if you don't have him already. I'd have loved some movie sets, but oh well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A shocking chase !!! well its a pretty good set but they should have put electro in a movie set but there is no amazing spiderman 2 lego but overall it was fun and you should get it to

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For the little ones... I would say this is for younger kids. If you are looking for the characters though, this is a cheap way to get spider man, and eletro. The electro character is not at all what he looks like in the movie, but still a cool figure to have. The spider man is the same we get in all the sets. I think lego needs to create another spiderman but whatever. Spiderman's vehicle is meh. I have no idea why he needs it but the set would be just two characters without it... GREAT for small children.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's got electro and it's 13 bucks I don't know what people were expecting out of this set for it to get so many low ratings but bottom line, it's a 13 dollar set that's got an exclusive figure... So, for me it earns 4 stars

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spiderman... Hello,It's My First Time To Buy A Lego Spiderman Set.For Me,This Set Is Awesome.Because Features Of Electro Is Amazing. The Spinning Electric Elements Below Him IS the Part That I Like. But The Spiderman Kinda Thumbs Down For Me.Because His Torso Printing Kinda Dark Red Compare To His Hands And Head. But I Look In The Internet,But Sadly Spiderman's Torso Printing Is Dark .The Spider Trike Kinda Look Ok To Me.But The Only Problem Is The Jumping Feature.I Watched A Review Of This Set,You Need To Press The Part That Make Spiderman Jump Quickly To See Spiderman Jump High. And Lastly This Set Is The Most Cheapest Way To Have Spiderman.(In My Opinion) Pros: -Electro -Cheap Way To Get Spiderman Cons: -Spiderman's Printing -Spider Trike Jumping Feature -No Other Heroes Like In The Other Sets

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I bought this set for Electro. I'm in the habit of collecting minifigs for my town setup and if there is a figure I have to have in a set that I don't want other sites are usually where I turn. In this case Electro was $11 so for $2 more why not get Spiderman also? Electro is awesome and I'm glad to add him to my collection. Spiderman is fine. I had hoped they would include some webbing for him in this set, but alas. The trike is... a cop-out. I really can't say it any differently than anyone else. I don't know who designed this, but it's absolutely terrible. I tried taking it apart to make something cooler and it's just not happening without more pieces (what are these black things really meant for?) I would have preferred they include a part of a building or something for Spiderman to swing on than this... thing they mashed together and put in the box. Overall, if you want a Spiderman and Electro this is an inexpensive way for you to add them to your collection. If you want a quality set with good value for the money, then this set is debatable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from WHY THE SAME SPIDEY FIG I am tired of purchasing new spiderman sets with the same minifigure. I have 3 spidey figs all the same. They should be able to change something. like the Junior set the belt change, I think that was awesome!
Date published: 2014-05-14
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok purchase This set is an OK set for a price point of $12.99. I bought it just for the Electro fig, but it does have some dissapointing stuff about it. 1st we have gotten way too many vehicles for Spiderman. First the Spider-bike and now the Spider-trike? Secondly, how many times have we got Spiderman? It's turning out to be just like Jack Sparrow. Give us some new suits like the Iron Spider, or the Blac-Suited Spiderman. But it's an OK set.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just for Electro I really love Spider-Man but I already got him in my collection, also for the Spider-Trike, though I would love to have more Spider-Man products. I would also like to have a CHEAP Green Goblin one, I haven't got a Green Goblin yet. Though this is for a good price, it's CHEAP-ish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible value for money My son (8) had earned some pocket money and put some money aside from relatives to buy this and another set. He is a very dedicated lego fan and we have bought many many sets since he was small, but I am shocked that lego can sell this at €14.99. There is so little lego in it, the set is not particularly good as an addition to his collection, would be far more reasonable priced at around €5.99. He is happy with the minifigures, but even he thinks it is too much money for what's in the box, and that's saying something for a boy whose favourite toy is lego. This is simply milking this superhero series beyond reason. I'll be encouraging my son to think about other options from now on when he decides to spend his pocket money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spider-Trike I bought this set mainly for Electro, and got pretty much what I expected. The figures are average - Spider-Man is boring, and needs a new variant, but a good Electro figure. Now, the easily dumbest thing about the set - the Trike. First - it has 4 wheels, not 3, so it should be the Spider-Quad, if it even needs to be here - and why does Spidey need a ground vehicle? New York traffic is a pain to be in, so why even bother having a vehicle. And second - it's the worst and ugliest build ever for me, and that's coming from a 10 year plus addicted LEGO fan. Poor overall, only get for figs. -Nightingale

Rated 2 out of 5 by from At least it's got Electro... This is a horrible set I got just for Electro. Pros -Electro! This is an amazing figure, my favorite in the Marvel line. Any Spider-Man fan should get this set simply for Electro. I thought they would be lazy on this figure and just print, but no, parts of Electro are transparent! This figure is the only good thing about this set. -the spinning electricity is a nice touch. Electro could fly in the comics. Cons -Spider-man does not need vehicles! -A tricycle is a horrible idea with a young man behind the wheel. -Not only is it corny, inefficient, and counterproductive, the vehicle just looks ugly. The vehicle is disproportionate and the driver section is over-sized. At least the Spider-cycle from last year looked sort of cool! -Same rehashed Spider-man figure -No web. The web elements are very useful parts and I think this is the first set to lack one. Spider-man has so much potential from LEGO, and they waste it on horrible looking vehicles. Still, I would buy this set as not to miss out on the amazing Electro figure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The small Spidey This is an awesome set. Love Spiderman and Electro both, so this gets me excited for the Amazing Spider-man 2 movie premiere. Its got a cool villain, famous hero, and a nice car. I'm all for it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Electro! And, sadly, that's the best part about this set. Probably like most people, I bought this to get the awesome Electro minifig. He really is classy. And although the trike is okay, this set is a little expensive for what you get. So it all depends if you want Electro or not. If you do, then I recommend it. If not, then your money is probably best spent elsewhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A weak set made to profit off TASM2 I should probably clarify that this is my first review - so yay... sadly its occurring because I feel I need to warn people about this set. I brought this set for Electro as I intend to have a version of the 'Sinister Six' made up of the Spider-man villains. The set itself is incredibly small featuring a disproportional mini-trike and that's about it. The trike seemingly has a 'flick' feature where you push down the front to fire Spider-man - though chances of it working are slim given it has a fairly tight joint and can only move so far. The figures are the only benefit and if your buying this set the only reason would be for Electro who features nice translucent blue pieces and some electric parts. The Spider-man figure is the generic figure you've probably already got many of given he is in every set of the Spider-man wave. I don't mind getting a lot of Spider-man figures however I'd prefer some variation - possibly different costumes in each set which could be used as an incentive for fans to 'collect them all' I'm going to end up with more Spider-man's than the clone saga :L The price per piece ratio is terribly high at around 17p per piece - which would be fine if it looked like it was here for a reason. However the trike will likely never be played with in favour of acting out battles with Spider-man swinging via his web as he battles against Electro. The only benefits I can think of are Electro and the fact you could just buy this set and you'd get both Electro and Spider-man. Pros; - New Electro figure - Has a Spider-man figure Cons; - Tacked on vehicle to attempt to justify the high price - The Spider-man figure is the generic figure you've probably already got - Vehicle Is badly proportioned - Flick fire missiles (Who likes them?) - Vehicle flip mechanism does not work Recommendation; If you are buying this set for anything other Electro, then buy a different Spider-man set. If you do buy this set then I'd suggest selling the trike as you'll never play with it. The electric parts are also nice, but you can find them cheaper in other sets. It feels like a promotional set that was shifted at last minute into being a actual set. Current price of this set is £11.99 - in actuality its probably worth about £5.99 with the Electro figure making up most of that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exclusive electro Pros: easy build Electro unique pieces great for MOC's cheap-ish price cons: Overused spiderman (could of made it more accurate by replacing blue parts with Earth blue) unrelated vehicle

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is an ELECTRIC set :) What a fantastic hero set!!! I LOVE Marvel and these cheaper sets! Pros: ELECTRO (I have been waiting for him since the series began) Cool flick missiles Creative exploding seat function Cons: Same Spider-Man (I would like a little more variation, since now I have 4 of the same Spider-Men)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Electro is Electric HUGE Spider-Man fan. It's the main Lego super hero I collect. Slick look for Electro. Gets me pumped up for the new Amazing Spider-Man movie coming out in May. I hope Lego has more sets from the new movie. My most treasured set is the Doc Ock vs Spider-Man train set from Spider-Man 2. Getting to this set. It's a simple set. Spidey looks cool as usual. The Spider-Trike is a little bulky. Would have liked a sleeker looking vehicle. But this set is ALL about Electro. The look is great. A difficult character to get right, but I think Lego nailed this one. He looks electric with the colors (blue and green). Well worth the price for this set. A great set for younger kids.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only buy if you want electro minifig Like the title says, the only redeeming quality of this set is the electro minifigure. The "spider trike" is a really lame, jumbled mess of parts. I built it and immediately took it apart and sorted the pieces away with all my other pieces. If you are someone, like myself, who is collecting all the marvel/dc minifigs, you're probably going to buy this set anyway just for electro, which is a fantastic looking figure, but if you're a kid looking for a fun set to play with, there are dozens of other sets in this price point that are waaaaaaay better.
