Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Truck There The set over all is good and the minifigures are good but then again Spiderman isn't accurate because HE DOESN'T HAVE THOSE RED BOOTS, COME ON LEGO!!!!!!!!!! But not to worry because I believe they're making a new version for him and he'll have red boots. Anyways the playability is pretty good and I like how it comes with Lego money and jewels so you can use that too. but the truck is really cool, and if you're making a Lego city or getting Lego City products it would be pretty good for an addition. Overall good set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doc Ock !!! This is a very decent set. We have some neat mini-figures. First off , we have Spider-man which is very nice and his print is cool. We also have a bank truck driver which is the truck driver in the Batman™: Arkham Asylum Breakout 10937 , but with different pants. Now to Doctor Octopus the print is awesome. But those are some killer shades dude! Those arms are awesome. You can even make him stand on them. Now the street lamp and the supposedly web trampoline. The web does not work that well and Spider-man falls off before he launches. But if attach him to the stud it won't fling him! Now to the main piece. The bank truck is nice. The opening cab is neat. But the exploding cargo area is pretty cool. But push it hard though. Or it is not very efficient. I hope this was helpful to you & below are some sets I would recommend .Thank you !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kids love it... This is my son's second Superhero Lego set. He saved up his own money to purchase it (asking for chores to help reach the amount he needed!) He and his friends put it together, please note it wouldn't take them as long to put it together but they tend to use the pieces to build other things along the way, pretty quickly and easily. The only complaint I heard (along with lots of "awesome" and "cool" comments) was that the little containers that are supposed to "pop out" when you push down on the lever didn't "pop out" as much as just raise up and tilt, but it didn't stop them from having fun playing with it for a couple hours so it wasn't too disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spiderman and Doc Ock! My young son bought this set and I decided to review it using his words. They are as follows... 1. Doc Ock has tentacles. 2. It has that compartment on the back and you can flip the treasure out. 3. It's a truck. 4. I like that it comes with Spiderman's web. Let me translate. He likes the Doc Ock figure because of the many arms and that he comes with dynamite to blow open the back of the truck, which is where there is a lever to flip the "exploded" boxes out. He also likes the truck because it looks neat and comes with a driver, making it have a total of 3 mini figures. And, I think, most of all, he likes the Spiderman figure and loves that he has a web just like in the Marvel Super Heroes video game. He likes everything about it but if I have to add one negative aspect (as it is with pretty much all of my reviews) the set has stickers, albeit only a few, and they are relatively easy to place. Overall, my son loves the set and I like it as well. He's gotten a lot of play time out of it. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This set is........AMAZING!!!!! WOW. This set is good. It is sooooo hard to impress me with a $19.99 set, but LEGO has done just that. This set is one of the best LEGO sets I have ever bought, and I'm gonna tell you why! I shall start with the minifigures, as always. SPIDER-MAN Spidey is just the usual version from 2012, and though decent, he isn't anything noteworthy. DOC OCK The villain for this set, Doc Ock is back and angry! He has a new Lloyd Garmadon hairpiece, which I don't know the story behind as I haven't been watching the show. His arms are the norm; twenty LEGO pieces of pure evil! He has a green and yellow color scheme which I don't like very much, but it gives him a contrast to our hero in red and blue. He was the villain this set needed, and I'll explain why in a minute. SECURITY GUARD Innocent bystander! Nothing more! Well, this guy is obviously needed to drive the truck, and Doc Ock can pull him out and distract Spider-Man with him. His face is fun because of how well he appears to be taking the situation. He doesn't have much printing, which is perfectly understandable. Now, the main set consists of....The truck. (Of course) This vehicle rocks! It is definitely the reason this set is so good. But how can that be? Well, first of all, it is such a fun build. Admit it, there are few things as good as putting wheels onto your LEGO cars. And then, the functions. Lego made this an interesting, function-packed little truck! You can stuff dynamite into a little compartment in the truck's side, and when it explodes....a lever is pushed, sending treasure everywhere! Really great function, especially for fight scenes. And the treasure is awesome, too! You get gold crystals, $100 bills, and diamonds! If you missed out on Pirates, this is the go-to set for precious itemry! And yes, it is quite fun to display it on your shelf with Spidey and Ock holding all the diamonds and bills. The gold is better adapted to the good doctor's claw. And even better for display, there are cleverly placed studs and bars for our dueling foes to cling to! That....is excellent LEGO! Really top notch! Spider-Man and Doc Ock are better known for clinging to walls and ceilings while they fight, and this set hits that nail right on the head. There are just soooo many neat ways to make Spidey wall walk and stick web to the truck, and have Doc Ock hold on from a vantage point with this feature! Really top notch! This is the part of the set that shows you that the creator really cared about making a generic vehicle fit in to the world of superheroes, and didn't just take a simple LEGO City vehicle, throw minifigs onto it, and decide that they had a working set. No! This set goes all the way, (And yes, the web-a-pult is neat too) and in fact......I have NOTHING bad to say about this set! NOTH. ING. It is a well-crafted little item that is well priced, well figged, and just plain FUN. Which is really what it's all about!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm SWINGING on a web... So this is a pretty good twenty dollar Marvel set. The Doc Ock is much better than the Ultimate version, sort of going back to the old 2004 sets. He is also rare, and if you like this villain it's a good way to get Spider-Man. TRUCK: Big part of the set. It is a good sturdy build with features including opening doors, room for one person, and an awesome feature where the back of the truck can explode via a lever and send four safes flying. This explosive capability makes this truck fun to use in police chases and all sorts of other action besides just Spider-Man. Cooler than even Nick Fury's car. Also included is a "web launcher" to cause Spider-Man to go flying, though it's kind of like flick missiles; it's a lost cause. Awesome vehicle though! MINIFIGURES: -Spider-Man: We've all seen him before. If you want a set with real action that is cheap to get him in, I recommend either this or the Spider-Cycle Chase (which includes the totally excellent and amazing Nick Fury minifig). He has a red and blue printing with web lines and a spider symbol on either side. His face is that of the cartoon, with large white eyes on the mask. He comes with a long white rope to represent a string of web. Always a good superhero. -Dock Ock: This version is exclusive to this set, and like I said, he represents the original real well. He has a white lab coat and green pants, with science goggles and an angry face. His four arms are brick-built with bending technic pieces. Awesome villain. -Truck Driver: This is pretty much the same as the bank guard from the Two-Face Chase. He has a special police uniform with light blue coloring and a badge with that regular head and a uniform hat. Good for guarding and failing to help hostages :) OVERALL: Awesome, cheap set to get. Pretty much the best price you would get these days for a set this size. Superheroes seem to be the best theme to do that in. Totally recommend this set. So, thanks for reading, until next time: goodnight and party on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coolest! This set is the best set ever! Minifigures: Spider-Man: I have nothing to say about Spider-Man because we get the same figure in every Spider-Man set. Doc Ock: It's really cool to get this variant of Doctor Octopus. With the cool lab coat and printing on the back for the tentacles. I also love the faces. The crazy, laughing side and the evil face. Driver: Why did the driver have to have a police suit and not something else? Other than that, the minifigure is great. Vehicles: The only vehicle in this set is the bank truck. It is filled with gems, money, and other items that make the back of the truck. Overall Review: Minifigures: 5/5 Vehicles: 4/5 Total: 9/10 I would highly recommend this set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Amazing Spiderman The Doc Ock truck heist is an excellent set that features: -Nicely structured car -Great minifigures -Several interactive parts throughout the set Pros. -Spiderman -Dock Ock (his robotic arms can move in almost any direction) -Truck Driver -The accessories (gold, 2 moneys, 2 diamonds, Spiderman web, etc..) -Spring action web light Cons. -Spring action web light (it shoots Spiderman straight up, rarely forward, but it is funny) -In the set I got Spiderman's leg connector is chipped (Thankfully most sets will not have this problem) All in all this was a great purchase and an excellent set. Thanks to all of you who wrote a review. Your reviews help me know what I was getting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Spider vs The Octopus I enjoyed building this set although I wish it had come with an Ocktobot, however the lamppost matched the bank I got with the lego batman Batmobile and the Two face chase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Six Legs VS. Eight When this set was revealed I went gaga. I LOVE Doc Ock and this was the best version of him I had ever seen so I knew I had to purchase this. The set has a great price to piece ratio which is hard to say for a lot of sets right now. Lots of unique parts and a few new colors of some. The truck that you build is very sturdy and is an enjoyable build and the function that knocks the crates out is a nice addition that will entertain and adds a little purpose to the truck. The little stoplight is nice, and the web-flinging action works, but it feels more like a piece filler, which isn't a bad thing. On to the reason to purchase this: the Minifigs. The Cop, who I will call Billy because he needs a name, is just a basic cop. Nothing too special but he is generic enough to use in any theme. Spiderman is no different than any other Spiderman minifig we have now, which is ok, but a variation would have been nice. Doc Ock is the standout minifgure of this set. He dons the classic labcoat with the yellow and green colors and he just looks fantastic. PROS: Unique parts Good, sturdy truck Pointless lightpost has nice parts DOC OCK!!!! CONS: Spiderman is the same Pointless lightpost is pointless OVERALL: Buy this set! Doc Ock is fantastic, and if you don't have a new Spiderman figure, then you can get him here. Also, Billy is a nice addition along with the unique array of parts in the set. 9/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spiderman vs Doc Ock This is a very fun set and I really like some of the play features in this set first is Spiderman he is really common in alot of Marvel sets but he is very cool with the white rope piece there is also a small light pole with a spider web to fling him up in the air which is not bad Doc Ock I really like alot and he is very cool than the other Doc Ock figures in past I like how he has a stick of dynomite to blow up the truck however his claw arms were alittle tricky to build the truck I like alot and how it has 3 safes for carrying gold, diamonds and money I also like how the back of the truck explodes which I thought was a very cool play feature the guard is not bad but I think this figure has been in other Marvel or DC Lego sets which is not bad. I think this is a cool set to have and if need a Doc Ock figure then I would get this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Doc Ock! Great set! The truck is a nice, sturdy build. You also get some nice parts. Starting off with minifigs: Spidey- Fairly common minifig, but still a nice one to have. Standard design for him. Also includes the white web piece Guard- Seen in a few other sets in both Marvel and DC Superhero lines, he's somewhat rare from my knowledge. Doc Ock- FANTASTIC minifig! Doc Ock was always one of my favorite Marvel villains ever since I watched Spider-Man 2. Very nice printing, on the torso, front and back, as well as the legs. Also has a double sided face and a nice hairpiece. Also comes with a bundle of dynamite. Anyways, onto the set: Truck: A nice build, not too big yet not too small. Utilizes nice parts such as FOUR storage containers pieces, two green door pieces, and two red door pieces. There is also a nice play feature where you can make all the containers explode out of the truck. It's one of the best I've seen in a while. It's easy enough for kids to put the containers back in the rear of the truck and launch them out again. Lamp post: A small build with a spider web piece behind it. The web piece has lots of buoyancy, which produces a nice play feature where a minifigure can jump off of it by pushing down on the end and letting go. Overall, fantastic set. Five stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A GOOD SET WITH SPIDEY AND DOC OCK This set was fine. I'd always wanted a Doc Ock, so he was part of the reason I bought this set. His claws are really cool looking and all, but they slip off the piece they're attached to sometimes. Spiderman is cool, as always, and the police officer is actually really cool. He has a really nice uniform and his face just seems cool. The truck doesn't do much except roll. It does have that exploding function that is actually entertaining to play around with. The web flinging thing in this set is something I don't understand. Is it actually meant to fling Spiderman? If it is, then it doesn't work. Overall, your typical, good Lego set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doc Ock brings it again I never miss out on picking up a Spider-Man Lego set, especially one that features Doc Ock. The Mini-figures: The Doc Ock in this set has a cool different look then from the Doc Ock Ambush or Spider-Man's Train Rescue sets. Seems like this mini figure is just perfect for Lego with his arms. Always great playability. Spider-Man's look hasn't changed much. I do like the little added detail to his chest from what I can tell on some of my older Spider-Man sets from year's back. I really do like the "web" to go along with this normal webbing rope. The bank truck driver goes along with the set nicely. Truck: Good looking vehicle for the set. The back of the truck has some pretty cool features for storage etc… Overall: Good set for the price. Love the new look for Doc Ock. If you haven't bought a set with Doc Ock, this is a great one to do so. Would have liked a little more on the variation of Spider-Man, but can't complain about his classic look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If it Was Carrying This, I'd Rob a Truck Too This set. Is. Great. Anyway, my reviews tend to get a bit lengthy, so if you don't feel like reading a lot... ....too bad! reading is fundamental! Nah I'm just kidding. For my general feelings, just scroll down to the Verdict section..... Okay, they gone. GREAT! On with the review. Minifigures: Spider-Man: Nothing new, but still pretty cool. I think it makes sense that this is the only costume we've gotten so far of Spidey, because what context would you put the other costume with? Anyway, this costume isn't anything new, but if you don't have the figure yet, its definitely a treat. Doc Ock: Oh. My. GOSH!! This minifigure is awesome. I mean, the old one was okay, but this one is AWESOME!! It looks much more comic accurate, but at the same time it's its own thing. I like how they had a lab coat, just to make it different. The back printing is nice, but you don't see it all too much with the arms. Anyway, its overall a great figure. Police Officer: Is it weird how much I love this figure. I mean, its basically the same thing as the DC Superheroes line, but the face, THE FACE!! I don't know why, but I just think its cool. Anyway, the rest of the figure isn't anything to brag home about, but it isn't terrible, and besides maybe having a Stan Lee cameo, I don't know what else you could do with it. Set - Wall Street Light Web Thingy-Ma-Whatsit: Like the Police officer, I love this, and I don't. Know. Why. I mean, the web is cool and you can make Spidey do some cool poses, but besides my own love for the piece, its nothing special. Truck: Again, another minor thing I love about this set. I mean, its basically just a truck. But its a cool truck. The windshield is cool looking, and there are all kinds of safes. The cool part is that there's a switchy thingy that you can push down and the safes blow up and-- wow, this is the most unprofessional review I've done. Whatever. The truck is very nice, and it looks very comic book, but I mean, most people won't care about it too much. Probably. Still pretty sweet though. Verdict: Okay, so, it might seem like I don't like this set, but I really do. Its bright, its fun, it looks like a comic book, and the minifigures are incredible. And so, I have to give this set: Score: 10/10 Grade: A+

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spidey and Doc Ock I was looking to add Spidey to my group of super heroes and stumbled on this set. You get Spidey, Doc Ock, an armored car, a driver, and a street corner lamp which functions as a catapult. Overall, this is a really nice set. I don't know if Lego has released an armored car of this design before, but it would work well in any Lego City. The car itself has four individual vaults which hold paper money, diamonds, and gold. There is a lever at the back which launches them up and out to simulate a dynamite attack from Doc. This works pretty well, but don't expect them all to clear the truck, maybe one because the build is tight. Also, the top of the vaults make up the roof of the truck and fill it, so there is no door at the back or room to put minifigs inside without changing the build. Here's the nitpicks: 1. Stickers, yeah they always stink, but this time I think they are poorly designed. The Secure Transport logo would have been better without the dollar signs and who needs a sticker that says locked hatch? 2. Would have liked some more cash money instead of just 2 pieces. 3. How about some new weapon molds, a nice revolver or shot gun for the ARMORED CAR driver. 4. I wanted to pose Spidey like he was on the box (can't do it with rope), how about a bendable plastic-encased wire with stud ends like the rope that would fit in his hand and support his weight. . . . now you're talking. Minifigs-GOOD Armored Car-GOOD Street Lamp-it's there If you want Spidey and Doc, GET IT!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A new member to my Sinister Six Having previously purchased 'Spider-Man: Spider-Cycle Chase' for its Venom figure and 'Spider-Trike vs. Electro' for Electro I next turned my eyes to 'Doc Ock Truck Heist' This is not the first time I've brought a Lego Doc Ock set having previous brought Lego Spider-man sets before and having memories of Doc Ock's Bank Robbery (A £17.99 set featuring 5 figures) I have to admit however I am pleasantly surprised. Doc Ock has some nice double-sided face action and the truck itself is fairly good for replicating the Sandman scene in Spider-man 3 and adds an extra factor of playability. The bars on the side can be grabbed by Doc Ock allowing for some interesting battle poses. Pros; - Doc Ock figure (Double sided face) - Spider-man figure - Bank guard figure - 2 x Trans Gem + Gold Crystal - Nice looking vehicle Cons; - Generic Spider-man figure - Generic bank guard figure - Feels a little small for the price Recommendation; Personally though I would have preferred maybe one more bank member and a variant of Spider-man in order to keep things fresh. Price point; The current price of the set is £19.99 and despite my desire for a fourth figure I have to admit its a reasonable set for the price range and would recommend possibly purchasing it at full price or waiting for it to drop to around £14.99. Definitely worth getting if you want to get the Spider-man villains - though I wouldn't be surprised if we see more Doc Ock set's in the future so bare that in mind.
