Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome!! The Obliterator is a very cool set. It can be sort of fragile around the boosters and non-movable wings in the back, but the split function is awesome! Pros: The color, the people, The whole thing! Cons: The alien's antennas fall of a lot, and are to hard to find.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Obliterate Those Bugs! This is an impressive set both in its appearance and in the transformation. It assembled easily in just over 2 hours and all of the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The bug assembles first and out of all of the other bugs in the Galaxy Squad sets I like it best both for its appearance and its uniqueness. The cart part of the Obliterator assembles next and it looks pretty cool with it's adjustable aiming flick missiles. My one complaint about the cart is that, by itself and with the shuttle attached, it does not roll very well, despite the six wheels. I've made sure it's not my fault and it appears that it is just a minor flaw in design. The shuttle on the other had is my favorite piece of the set and looks spectacular, with its adjustable wings and large guns. I am a little worried about how the cart detaches from the shuttle (the mechanism, a push rod built into the exhaust, has to be pushed pretty hard to make the cart and shuttle separate), but either apart or together they look great. There are stickers (which I hate) but they really do add to the look. I dinged the value for the money because it did seem a bit expensive but overall, it is a wonderful set. Enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good set Here are a list of truthful pros and cons pros: awesome design brilliant play experience, especially if this is your first galaxy squad set Cool figures colours are great the two vehicles becoming one is an amazingly creative idea i could go on for days Cons: Slightly fiddly when sliding car thing into the flying spaceship the robot guy with wings is a bit annoying, in that the wings are fiddly when putting the figure in/taking him out the alien bug vehicle is cool although it doesn't stand up without its tail touching the ground Overall, i recommend that you buy this, it may have its faults but they don't matter when you are immersed in play note: if you buy this make sure you put the antennae in a safe space when building the set, my alien minifigure is left with just one antenna

Rated 4 out of 5 by from On the Contrary Okay, lets get things straight, I'm not trying to be negative here people, because I understand that this theme is targeted at younger kids, but, I want Alien Conquest back. Galaxy Squad just, from a collectors-mocker standpoint, isn't cutting it for me. On the Contrary this is a great set for younger kids, but for the 9-12 year-olds, they want something more detailed and interesting. I happen to fall into that category, so this set isn't for me. This set is great, but just not for me.The minifigures are kind of, boring in my opinion, but will work for younger crowds. The vehicles given here have kind of been mashed together into an overly sterile theme. I'm not going to get into why I don't really like these sets, because that would just be too negative. Overall this set does have good play value, and good functions, so I would recommend it to a younger builder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 in 1 this set is a must have for any lego galaxy squad fan. it comes with a fighter car witch you can clip into the big ship and deploy for battle. the minifigures are really cool and the big bug is awsome. overall there were only a few things wrong with this set, like the big bug has trouble standing up and the little bugs antenas fall of so i would suggest not playing with the little bug much because the antens fall off very fast. now for pros and cons pros amazing ship cool car love how the car can connect to the ship awsome big bug cons a bit overpriced bugs antenas fall of too easly

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super fun! This set is so awesome! The detaching tank makes this set so fun to play with. The mini bug is not really a challenge for the big vehicle and its a little over priced. Pro's: great playability, fun build, great minifigures Cons: it's over priced, the bug ship falls apart easily, and its easy to lose the insectiod's antenna Overall this set is really fun and it has great playability

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So many hours of fun! This expansive set took hours to build but was worth it. I'm amazed at how creative Lego engineers have been getting these past few years. Must be using some new software or something. This set is fun. Has a spaceship, a detachable tank, some guys, and a scary bug. My son enjoyed playing with it for about 2 days before started tearing it apart. The pieces are all mixed up now, so it's unlikely that I'll invest the time to recreate it. But he is enjoying building some other contraptions with the pieces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Bug Obliterator Yesterday at the Sydney BrickShow I bought this set, I was a little skeptic on my purchase, but once I had built it, most of my scepticism left me. The figures in the set are fantastic, and the robot sidekick is probably my favourite, but Alien Mosquitoids are still awesome ;D. The dragonfly vehicle is a nice design, but the tail often falls off, and the cocoon does limit the tail's movement. Being a GS set, it is made it be very "bug-like", a they captured the idea well. The GS moon-buggy is probably my favourite vehicle in the set, especially with the fold-out mega-missile launchers, which remind me of the Alien Conquest Earth HQ set, from 2011 (feels so long ago D:). The main thing, the drop-ship feels a little lacking, and the main-cockpit really signifies my thoughts, it is so plain. I want to be supportive of the design, but it isn't great. Perhaps the best thing about the set would be the price per piece. Overall, the set is fine, but I think the Vermin Vaporiser is much better. CzechMate1 out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [][][][][][][Cool][][][][][][] I bought this set yesterday at my local Lego store. It is fantastic! The set isn't huge, but it makes up for its smaller size with its slick design and many features. I especially like the way the large ship can split into a starfighter and a rocket launcher truck. The minifigures are also really cool. The robot's helmet and armor pieces look great, but his wings are a little clumsy and he can't fit in the starfighter while wearing them. Overall, the set is a lot of fun to play with, and it is definitely worth buying. -Lloyd2la

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Set! Usually when checking out new Legos I think, "well, this one looks pretty okay, guess I'll get it." Then, I get it home, start building, and think, "this is so freak'n cool." I'm always pleasantly surprised at every little innovation and design. I shouldn't be, I've been building the things for years, but they never cease to amaze me! This set was no different. First of all, I love the colors. This set may look fragile, but it holds together well. I don't complain when parts fall off, I mean it's basically a high end model that requires no glue, and it's designed to come apart, but as stated, this is pretty solid. The ship is very cool and quite formidable looking, but then you push the slide in back and the awesome car springs to life. The rubber tires are a nice touch. After the car comes out, the cab on top of the ship cantilevers down and looks like nothing is missing. It is so clever the way they do this stuff. As usual, it was a complete pleasure to build. The end product is larger then expected, and simply looks awesome. The three figures are great, and the third one is a nice extra just in case the bug actually captures one! The bad guy vehicles are usually not as exciting and are always hopelessly outgunned, but this one is fairly large and has a great look to it. The usually fragile wings on the main model are held on by a new system that makes them stout. All and all a great set, sure to be enjoyed by any Lego enthusiast!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun set but overpriced for what you get This is a fun set to play with, just ask my kids. But they were disappointed it is only flick missiles and not the better missiles powered by springs. They took the better missiles off older sets and made them work for this set. They like to set up little battles and the better missiles are much more fun as they can actually knock down the enemy. Also, I really hate stickers instead of the printed bricks. The stickers are always applied poorly by my kids and then most fall off or get messed up (torn, worn, etc). My kids don't even apply the stickers anymore. Overall we do like this set, just not as good as it could be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic This set is Amazing! Although there are some stickers I understand that is done to keep costs low, which the cost for this set is great IMO. In addition the build for the "car" is quite simple, but the build for the "jet" is quite complex and they do some interesting things to get the look right which I appreciate. In addition the build is very stable and good for play value. I also Really enjoy the fact that this set has a sort of transforming function, where the "jet" can drop the "car" and then change to be a new craft, and the fact that the "car" has hidden flick missiles is amazing. I recommend this for anyone it is Awesome!
