Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weather top This is a cool set. You get boring aragorn and frodo. Yo get merry and ring wraiths.. You get a trap door function and STUPID flick missiles. you get a palantir holder. The price was unacceptable because no new molds that are exclusive Now onto the final verdict. This set is good but not for the price which really hurts the grad. I would say order merry by himself and make your own ring wraiths or get this set on heavy clearance I give this set a C

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't buy for the minifigures. Most if the money goes to the weathertop, whose inside is too small to fit anybody in there. The only pace you can put is on top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some features are silly. Okay everything from the movie is there and it is well designed but I honestly say I hate the interior of Weathertop. Too much lego interruption in the interior like in the Harry Potter sets. The Palantir holder and weapons holder along with the missiles are not good features. Pros: 1. Lego have done an excellent job on this set with the design of the arches on the top and statues of men. 2.The fire cooking always makes me remember the scene and makes me laugh. 3. This set has great character design and the exclusive Meriadoc and two Ringwraiths make this a must have for all LOTR fans. Cons: Needs an extra character. I mean the Uruk hai army which is half this price comes with 1 more Uruk hai. I would like an extra ringwraith to be added. Conclusion: This set is well designed and an excellent addition to any collector.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great collection set! I like the Attack on Weathertop set. It is in the more expensive range for LOTR sets. The only thing that I can think of that makes this set so expensive compared to others would be the amount of minifigs. It comes with Frodo, Aragorn, Merry and two ringwraiths. It has all the pieces for the iconic fire cooking scene as well as the scene where Frodo is stabbed. The only thing that I would want to change with this set is to have more ringwraiths. My favorite pieces of this set are the tiny grey statues of the men. I love them! Thanks LEGO!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review This set is very good and defiantly worth £50, may not be exactly movie accurate but awesome none the less. There is barely anything bad about this set; the figures are very good and detailed, the ringwraiths particularly, the tower itself is very detailed yet quite an easy build, the only downside are the flick fire missiles, never in any of the films did I notice missiles, bit of a let down to a set that could of been extremely good. Apart from that inaccuracy would recommend it to any Lord of the Rings fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ringwraiths! Great set. The missiles work well. The cheaper way to get Aragorn. Pros Missiles Extra weapons Merry food and flames Ringwraiths Cons Maybe just one more Ringwraith. (Or Nazgul or Black Riders Or Dark Riders, whatever you want to call them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Wraiths are coming! This is a great set for any LOTR fan's collection. It's got some awesome minifigures, and some rare pieces, my only complaint is it's a little small. On to Pros and Cons! Pros: Exclusive minifigs Very detailed Food pieces Ring Wraith horses Special capes Cons: It's a little small Flick-fire missiles I hope this was helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Put it out, you fools, put it out! This is an iconic scene from The Fellowship of The Ring and I think it looks very good in lego form! The figures are very accurate and you can tell who they are supposed to be just by looking at them and the structure itself is incredible! The secret armoury is great for boosting weapons for figures in other sets and the Nazgul make great additions to the forces of evil! This is the first lotr set I got and probably one of the most enjoyable ones, well worth the cost!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only good for the minifigures! I bought this set for my birthday, and I thought it would be a good set because of how big the box was. Boy was I wrong! Weathertop itself is sort of small for how big it seemed on the box. The minifigures are well designed and I really like Merry. Minifigures: In this set there is Merry, Frodo, Aragorn, and 2 Ringwraiths/Nazgul. This set should have come with at least one more Ringwraith or Pippin. Frodo has Sting in this set and he doesn't even have Sting yet at this part in the Movie or book. And, Aragorn has the Evenstar neckalace on before Arwen even gave it to him. Weathertop: Weathertop has stairs and can open up, there is also a trap door (which I REALLY don't understand), and has flick fire missles which aren't even in the movie or book. Price: The price is $59.99! It should have been maybe 50 or 40 at the most! Pieces: There are only 430 pieces in this set and I know some 50 dollar sets that have more pieces in them! Overall, this set is not the best I have ever bought!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great build It is a great lego. I really live to trap door and the splitting apart action. The ringraiths are so realistic and the details are great. I have a great time playing with it. If you want something to play with I would highly recommend this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from one of the best lego sets I have ever bought I really enjoyed buliding this set, I also like all the minifigures that came with this set (2 ringwraiths aragorn frodo merry) weahtertop itself is really awesome although it could have been a bit bigger. All in all this is a amazing set that might have been a bit better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poorly priced. I really liked this set except for a few things. I did not like the Nazguls' capes. They bulged out the back like they had a huge butt. The capes looked good on the horses but other than that i had to use Jedi capes. Although I did like how you can weave the extra flames through the holes and look like he was lit on fire. I did not understand the trapdoor. Never in the books or movies. The stairs move back and forth and up and down but i haven't figured out how to fix that. The inside of the watchtower has almost no room to do anything. And I don't understand the octagon thing either' but oh well. I do like the Morgul Blade though. Overall I would recommend this set just for Merry and the Wraiths. Too over priced and should be 30 or 40 tops. I don't think that the rocky outcrop should be there and it think they put it there to raise or even out the price. I think that for the price it should have included Pippen and another Wraith. I also think Weathertop itself should have been bigger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best dessision yet I'm a HUGE LOTR fan, the battle on weathertop scene was my favorite of the four movies, when it came out I NEW i needed it for my collection. With Aragorn, Frodo, Merry, and two Ringwraiths, it was love at first brick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lego Lord of the Rings! I am a big fan of the Lord of the Rings films and books. I got this for my first Lord of the Rings set, and it is great. However, if you are looking for an accurate model, you are better off going without this one. If you want to make an accurate model from the movie, I recommend getting the Merry, Sam, Pippin, Frodo, Ringwraith, and Aragorn minifigures and building it with your own pieces. This set is still pretty cool, it comes with an awesome horse, the ring, and even has a working trapdoor(I wouldn't expect one of those in this set). I also like that you can open the thing up. The only problem for me is the expensive price for 400 pieces. If you like legos and the Lord of the Rings, this set is great for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Battle of Weathertop Here Lego tackles another iconic Lord of the Rings scene, although they play somewhat fast and loose with this one. It might not be movie/book accurate, but it's still a great set. It's great fun to build, and looks great whether displayed closed or opened up to reveal the play-ready interior. The minifgures in this set are really nice; Merry, Aragorn and Frodo are all great with fine detail and some neat accessories. Even better are the Ringwraiths, though; their special capes and VERY cool demonic horses are really well done. The set itself has some great detail, and looks like a miniature rendition of the hill from the movie. On the inside is a sort of dungeon-like chamber, with weapons racks and a bunch of ornamentation. It's not really based on anything, but it ups the play value of the set. The piece-for-price ratio is one of the worst in the line, though; it would have been nice to see slightly more pieces, possibly to make the hilltop larger, or add a couple more ringwraiths. Still, the quality of what you get still make it worth a recommendation from me; you might just want to save buying it until after the other sets in the series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ancient Watchtower of Amon Sul Attack on weathertop is a very nice set, I will start out with the minifigures. Aragorn, Frodo, and Merry are all very well done, I especially like Merry, he is very movie accurate. The two Ringwraiths are very nicely done, I like their tattered capes, and their horses are very well done also. Now for Weathertop itself. Weathertop is very well designed, it has nice rock structure at its base, and when you open it up there is plenty of cool things to play with, like a rat, and a couple extra weapons, and as a nice detail there is even a palantir stand, there is also a trapdoor which you can throw a Ringwraith or anyone else down to the bottom of the set. The only thing I do not like is the way the stairs are made, they are to bad, but if you tip the set or touch the stairs the move and then you have to rearrange them, but other than that it is a very nice set. Good job Lego.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Attack on Weathertop - Good set, bad value As the title states, this set is one of the worst deals out there right now. $59.99 for 430 pieces! Outrageous! Anyway, as for the set, it was obviously designed to be "playable" and NOT accurate to the movie or book. There is a trap-door on the top, and flick-fire arrows (Who the heck thought those up?) on the front wall. Without these features, however, the set would probably be very boring, so I'm willing to let them slide. The minifigures are another disappointment of this set. Merry and the Ringwraiths are exclusive, and really the only movie-accurate minifigures in the whole set. Frodo comes with his sword "sting" BEFORE Bilbo gives it to him, and Aragorn has the Evenstar pendant around his neck BEFORE Arwen gives it to him. Overall I give this a 5/10, it is movie-inaccurate, with bad figures and an inflated price tag. I would not recommend it to anyone, except those who wish to polish off their Fellowship of the Ring with Merry. Play well, but not with this set, NT-Brickfilm

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frodo gets stabed... as usual This set is awsome!!! i don't know where to begin. so there is a little vegitatian rock right of the side, i like to make the ringwraiths horses eat the little plants. then there are the ringwraiths. my mom said "what's darth vader doing there." then there is a nice fire to atract the nazguls. i have also always wanted a winding staircase and now i have one although it is a little loose. anyway you go up the stairs and there is a space not a big space but a space.there is a trap door and they use the little lego board games character peices. then there is the inside it has a mouse and a nice weapon rack. then there is some control panal type thing. then there is two sticks flick them and you see they are little shooters to attack the nazguls. and i almost forgot aragorn comes in this set with arwen's pendent. then it also comes with frodo and merry. i also have shelob attacks and the mines of moria. so i also have pippin and sam. cons: random panal thing loose jiggly stairs pros: good characters vegitatian rock black rider horses nazguls (ringwraiths) weapon rack mouse fire food sack lego games character figure statues this set is amazing altogether

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "They are Nazgul, and will never stop hunting you" Great set! I really enjoy this, but it helps to have a Sam and Pippin minifigures. I will also have to complain about the price. Pros -Aragorn minifigure -Merry minifigure -Ringwraith minifigure -new horse design(moving legs) -trapdoor, staircase, and ruins themselves -weapons(hobbit swords, sting, Andúril, and Ringwraith swords, plus two secret weapons under the ruins) -Microfigure statues Cons -pricey(why not 49.99?) -only 2 Ringwraith`s - Ringwraith`s hoods don`t stay on(capes push off) Well the other thing is I don`t know why there are flick fire missiles. I also cannot seem to figure out what the black/grey thing is under the ruins in the corner. Over all this is a great buy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice design and minifigures Weathertop was a fun set to build. My boys enjoyed playing with it. Even though they do not understand the story of the Lord of the Rings, they think the set is interesting. Legos sure have changed since I had the first castle set when I was a kid. Now, there is a great variety of bricks and props. This set used some interesting techniques in order to get the rounded effect. The set seemed to reflect the air of mystery that Weathertop must have had. There is a trap door and a couple of flick fire missiles that kids will like. Inside the tower is also a weapon rack, a mouse, and what I assume is a palantir stand. Hopefully Lego will eventually develop the palantir itself in a future design. Props also include torches, food items, a "campfire", and a backpack. Two ringwraiths with black horses are in the set. The appearance is excellent. The only problem I have is that the hood does not stay on well. I am going to use some school glue and see if that helps. Aragorn is in the set as well as Frodo and Merry. This is the only set that contains Merry. Although the design is good, and the minifigures are a plus, I must concur with many reviews that the set is significantly overpriced, even for a licensed set. Weathertop's reputation for being expensive is well deserved. Beside the tower and figures, there is one other portion that includes a little bit of a ruin, a bush, and some grass. I would have preferred that this be left out, and instead either another minifigure or more detail to the main tower be added. Overall, this is a good set, and vital to a collector due to ringwraiths and Merry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I liked this set, the price not so much This is an awsome set with all kinds of detail and cool play features. The sad part is the price. 430 pieces for 60 bucks! Thats all im going to say about the price because i dont like to talk about that a lot. It has great pieces like the stairs and also a lot of small detail pieces. Also if you want to build round creations get this becaise it has almost just as much of the pieces that make it round as helms deep. Now to pros and cons. Pros: 2 Ringwraiths (capes are a bit different) Exlusive Merry Comes with Frodo and Aragorn and 3 rings Comes with two stings, two spears, two little hobbit swords, and one regular sword The trap door works great and is super easy to set back up Flick fire missles under the stairwell Round shape and folds out so you can get to the inside Campsite was detailed with apple, chicken in bag, fire with pot, and a carrot Also comes with two black horses for the Nazgul Cons: Not very movie acurate with trap door and missles Seems small after you put it together but thats not that bad Stairs move a little if you move the set The Price was a little steep but worth it if you want to collect all the sets Alltogether very well designed set good job lego and awsome pieces and play features. Love the rounded shape and details like the top with the statues. That is my review hope you found it helpful. -JustOneMoreBrick

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Nice, crispy bacon! We've saved some for you..." First off, I've loved the LotR movies since they first came out and I've been waiting for Lego to release these sets for a long time. Weathertop is a great set with a lot of pieces I would've LOVED to have as a kid, like the spiral staircase. I was really impressed by Lego's ability to make squares round (you'll see what I mean). I do wish it was a little bigger, as there isn't really enough room to have both Nazgul, Aragorn, and Frodo and Merry, all on top fighting. Also, it would be great to have one or two more Nazgul with the set to increase the peril. Also, the price was a little high, but I understand why, royalties and all. I didn't really see the point of making it open up in the middle; "Wow, a random weapon rack." Also, what's that black wheel for? I would've made it one level higher and not split down the middle. Would I recommend it to a friend? Definitely, as well as all the other LotR sets. Pros: Great characters, interesting design concepts, lots of weapons, and let's not forget, NO STICKERS!!! It's all paint. Cons: Not enough Nazgul, a little bit too small, why does it split in half? No cloak for Aragorn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of My Favorites This is probably the 3rd best in the LOTR line. IT is often called (overpriced). That is a lie. Sure, you may not get 600 pieces, but it comes with great minifigs and 2 horses. Weathertop has many functions such as a trap door, flick fire missles, ect. Pros: Microfigs in the scene provide great detail 2 horses Merry(he's awesome) 2 ring wraiths(Nazgul) Trap door works every time Lots of food pieces Cons: NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please buy this set!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You Shall Not Pass-Up This Terrific Set. Hello peoples. first of all I would like to say that this is actually my forth L.O.T.R purchase, but fifth build as I wanted to save one of the best sets. This is a terrific set and a worthwhile purchase for any L.O.T.R fan. It is accurate to the film and has lots of nice added details the Lego group has worked in. It is one of the best in the range and provides a nice and enjoyable build. Firstly I would like to list some of the good points here. One of the great features is that it contains lots of accessories and spare parts providing great potential for M.O.Cs and customisation. Some of the bonus pieces are an apple, carrot, pot, pouch, dagger, a silver sword, two dark bladed swords, a torch, sting and three one rings! Other benefits for L.O.T.R fans in particular are the minifigure combination. It contains unique figures of Merry and two Ringwraiths which are fantastic for film re-enactments. Another nice little feature is that the trapdoor in Weathertop can be closed by a leaver without using a hand! Some other nice features are the various brick patterned pieces, weed pieces and the concealed weapons rack and shooting darts. Now down to the slightly bad points (which are few and far between). Firstly there seemed to be a slight printing mistake on the Aragorn minifigure which I wasn't sure if was common across all the products. Instead of having a dark grey vest on his torso to patch his pants, he had a creamy brown vest with a reversed grey coat on the inside. Unfortunately it didn't match the legs. One other slight annoyance was that the Ringwraith capes stuck straight out from their necks instead of draping over as on the box. This was slightly annoying as the hoods would pop off and they were harder to pose. One other slight little problem was that it was rather hard to fire the darts as the gap was quite small. Lastly, the bare studs on the inside were alright, but it would have been nice to cover them up with pieces to give it a sleeker look. however this was great customisation potential! Overall this set was an enjoyable build and terrific purchase. It is essential for any L.O.T.R fan as well as die hard Lego fan. It is one of the pick of the L.O.T.R range and potential collectors would do good to start here. Not a really difficult, but properly enjoyable build good for emerging and casual builders. A worthwhile purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for Lego & LOTR fans The first thing that really stood out with this set was the minifigs. All beautifully detailed, especially the ringwraiths. Although i still have a problem with the hobbits legs not being hinged. Apart from this minor grumble the set was well worth the price and a lot of fun to build. The staircase being one of my favourite features, I intend to incorporate them into my own castle themed builds. The build itself is pretty straightforward but rewarding. I only build for display purposes, but could imagine this being a fun set to play with. Overall an excellent set. Helms Deep next!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attack on Weathertop Review It's a great Lego set to play with, it has lots of cool details, and is overall a cool model. Pros: The Detail The Ringwraiths Flick-Fire Missiles The Trapdoor The Lego Games Microfigure Statues Cons: Too much for the money Could have included Sam and Pippin Hopefully, Lego will make more cool models like this, but they need to keep the price down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a great LEGO set. I love all the new LEGO weapons and the new LEGO horse. The only thing that I question about this set is that Frodo has sting, but he got Sting later on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Detail and Mechanics Attack on Weathertop mainly revolves around the minifigs, detail and contraptions. This set has it all! Frodo, Merry and Aragorn all have two faces which really help depict accurate battle scenes. While the ring wraiths, probably one of the coolest parts of the set, obtain new cloaks, dark horses, and swords. The detail is also fantastic. As for the mechanics, the set includes flick-fire missiles, trapdoor, and accessible inside. A little on the pricey side though with only 430 pieces but still a great set! Includes 3 rings, total. Do recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More like part of a set. This is the 5th LOTR set I have received, and it is awesome despite my many gripes. This set is for LOTR fans only, if you're not a fan, then it is just an OK set. Pros: RINGWRAITHS!!!!!!!! And you get two of them exclusively in this set! The detailing on the horses is great, plus they have red eyes. You also get an Exclusive Merry figure. The detailing on the set and on the inside of the set is great, especially because the inside is all made up. The trap door mechanism (though not in the movie or books) is also great because you don't have to put it back in place by hand. No Stickers! Cons: The price per piece is way off, this set should be $15 to $20 less based on the piece count. The playability is a little thrown off by the size and a lot of the pieces are details and don't add too much to the set. it's also less of a set, and more like a part of a larger set. I hope they make a bottom portion to this set that can connect to this one and make it look more complete, otherwise it's just the top of Weathertop. If you're a fan of LOTR this set will make you happy, if not you're gonna be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cool set This set is really cool. I have to say that the minifigures, and new horses are the best part. The actual Weathertop Amon Sul Watchtower could be bigger. The price is also 10$ more than it shuold be, but it isn't to overpriced. The one cool feature is the opening watchtower. It has great details. You also get the One Ring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Bad All in all, this is a pretty cool set. You get several cool pieces and minifigures and accessories. The pieces fit more snugly than any of my other pieces, sometimes too snugly. But the hoods on my Ringwraiths don't stay on very well. The capes in this set are sturdy, and would be very difficult to rip. This set came with a surprising amount of extra pieces, but I don't know if that was intentional. The saddles on the horses are placed kinda strangely, but it's to give the Ringwraiths stature, although they sometimes have trouble staying on. Pros Cool pieces, good playabilty, but not an awesome play experiance. Would need some extra creativity on your part. Cool swords, and sturdy capes. Cons The price. Although it comes with a lot of pieces, $60 seems a little too much. You only get two Hobbits. You only get Frodo and Merry even though all four of them were in that scene. The hoods don't stay on the Wraiths, but that just be my pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Bad... The attack on Weathertop is a very iconic scene from the book as well as the movie. The set is highly detailed from the rock formation and tower, to the Nazgûl (Ringwraiths). The main part of the set is Weathertop. This part of the set is highly based off of the 2003 Peter Jackson's Movie version instead of the original book by J. R. R. Tolkien (in the original version [,the book] Weathertop was only a circle of stones in a formation, the 2003 Movie adaption having at least one-storey walls with stairs left inside the building and with almost complete monuments surrounding what was originally some kind of a hall). Weathertop can be opened so you can see the inside of the hall and play around with it (for some reason there are two flick fire missiles). The top floor of Weathertop has a trap door that you can activate to drop the characters down into the hall. It would have been better if Weathertop was taller and the statues were roughly the same size as Aragorn, but the sets fine how it is. The second part of the set, are the minifigures. It comes with Aragorn, Frodo, Merry, and two Ringwraiths. It also comes with 2 printed Lego horses that have been created in a new mold that allows you to pose the horses in different actions (walking, rearing up, etc.). Aragorn and the hobbits are exteremly close to the movie additions except for the lack of a trench coat/cape but that is somewhat unnecessary. They also come with new weapon molds to match the movie adaption from "Sting (Frodo's sword) and a somewhat Rohan styled short sword. The Ringwraiths are the only figures I have issues with. I would rather they come with a new cloth style that could be more of a cloak and a hood that would shield their faces more, but those are unnecessary details. Pros: -Weathertop is pretty close to the Movie adaption and the playability is great. -Aragorn, Forod, Merry, and 2 Ringwraiths -"Sting" and the One Ring -New horse molds. Cons: -Tower could have been taller and statues as well -Set should have come with more Wringwraiths and all four Hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin [Sam and Pippin are missing in this set]). This set is a great buy whether you area big fan of the Lord of the Rings or are just starting out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Holy Nazgul Frodo! Fun build, great minifigs, with lots of extra spare "little parts" in case you lose some. Poor value for the money as it's about 450 pieces at $60 but if you have to have Ring Wraiths you have to have this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from weathertop this set is really really COOL! a lot of minifigs with a rare character which is merriadoc brandybuck 'merry'. with some horse and the ringwraith(servant of sauron). i really love the details on the tower and on the minifigs(especially merry and frodo) they are really cool. I just wish there could be a much taller tower. weathertop is a tower use by the ancient gondorian.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most awesome set ever! I have been waiting for these for six months and now they are here! I got this set because it had an iconic scene from the movie and that it had some main characters from the movies. When I built it, it was easy; but there were many steps. It took a while. After I built it, (with my minifigures completed as well,) I saw that it looked so much like the actual scene. This is an awesome set! Pros: Iconic Characters Many features Excellent detail Nice size Cons: None

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amon Sul (Weathertop The details on Merriadoc Brandybuck are great. Ringwraith details are very accurate along with their horses. The horses were stolen from Rohan. The Angmarians (the Witch Kings nation, 2nd age) took Weathertop. Naz means ring and Gul means wraith in the Black Speech (orc speech)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attack on Weathertop This set is pretty good but has some huge flaws. The good in this set comes from the figures mainly. Merry is only found in this set, which is an absolute must have figure to complete your fellowship. Aragorn is the only repeat figure from any other sets. He comes also in Helms Deep so this is an easier way to get him. Frodo is almost the same as the version in Shelob Attacks, but his cape is a different color. The Ringwraiths are both exclusive to this set, and are must have characters. It is also the only way currently to get the new horse mold in a black color. Weathertop itself is a pretty cool design-- I love the way it has the curved design in the back. The set comes with lots of useful parts such as rock pieces, fire, stairs, and even the LEGO games micro figures in a light grey color. Lets move onto the overall pros and cons. Pros: The figures Pieces Included Design in the back with the curves Includes the ring, only one other set has it Brick Separator(always useful) Good Detail Love that it can open up to show the inside Trap Door. Even though it's not in the movie, the feature works great because of the fact you can open and close it with the same switch. Old trap doors you had to reset manually this one is much better. The use of Harry Potter moving stairs Good amount of room to set up battle scene. Cons: THE PRICE. $60 is way to much, $40 would've been perfect, and I would have been alright at $50, but $60 for just 430 pieces? Really bad price. Doesn't include all the figures needed. I understand not having all nine Ringwraiths, but what about Sam and Pippin? Can't just leave them out. Flick Missiles? What in the world? That makes no sense at all. That feature is completely useless. All the features are not really accurate to movie at all. Kind of a little small. Again, this goes back to the bad pricing. For $60 this set feels small. Overall, I do like this set. Great figures, and some cool design. Its just the features make no sense and the PRICE! The price ruins it for me. I would still recommend this set for the figs and pieces. Thanks for reading this is LegoLee329 from youtube!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pros. Frodo Merry (excusive to this set) Aragorn (AKA Strider) 2 Ringraiths (AKA Black riders/Nazgul) The rings (comes with 3) Many play features (Trapdoor, flick fire missles, etc.) New horses VERY detailed minifigs Cons The Nazgul's capes often push off the their hoods. The horses aren't very stable (No pun intended) when rearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set, but how accurate? As a avid Lord of the Rings fan, I was thrilled to put this set together and have some fun with it. The building experience was exciting, finally having a legit LOTR lego set is something ive always wanted, as opposed to my MOCs. Although this is a great build and fun to play with, I have to, as fan, complain about the structure, the price, and the characters. Firstly, The top of the tower is to small in my opinion, but the details are nice. I just want some more room to play, which is minor as i can MOC this easily enough. The flick-fire missiles i think LEGO just put in there to mess with us. Why would there be missiles on weather top? Its an abandoned watch tower thats been empty for over a thousand years; since the Numanorians fled The Witch Kings wrath while saving the Plantir. Secondly, for 60$, we are paying far to much. A more accurate price would be around 45$ for the total amount and quality of pieces you get. LAstly, as a over all theme with LOTR lego, you have no choice but to get this, and every other set, beside Gandalf Arrives and Orc Forge to gather the full fellowship. So, overall a great set, a bit pricey and not 100% movie accurate, but if you want the full fellowship, its a no brainer, buy this set.
