Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful I have been looking for a journal exactly like this, searched for months and even contemplated crafting my own but I ran into this journal. It is lined with two ribbons for book marking and two latches, it's worth every penny, I highly recommend this. It makes writing so much more fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunningly crafted journal Some practical notes, first: 1) This journal is actually the Nocturnelle Grande (lined), which is the largest of the journals offered by Paperblanks in this style. That was a lovely surprise for me, as this is the version I really wanted. 2) The embossing is quite subtle on the covers, but it is so well done that the visual effect is much more pronounced. Still, it's a bit of a surprise when you actually touch the cover expecting more real depth. 3) The lines on the pages are spaced apart farther than I'd expected, leaving less room to write than if you wrote in the unlined version of the same book. My thoughts: All of Paperblanks' journals are marvels of craftsmanship and this one is no different. They use high quality paper and materials and include little touches -- such as the memento pouch, ribbon markers, and metal latches -- that just add to the charm and usefulness. The journals are well worth the price you pay for them (with the free shipping, the price here at Indigo is very reasonable) and will make writing your thoughts a joy. Highly, highly recommended.
