FAQ

  • Do I have to RSVP to a timeslot to participate in the Holiday Shopping Event?

    Yes, to join us in-store for our Holiday Shopping Event and enjoy the 20% discount, you will need to RSVP and reserve a ticket. Tickets will be checked at the door and the discount is only valid during Holiday Shopping Event timeslots.

    This allows us to offer a quieter, members-only shopping experience, before or after our regular store hours. This is a free, ticketed service. No purchases are required but tickets must be reserved.

    RSVP in advance using Ticketscene to browse with confidence and enjoy our great customer service while having an easier time with physical distancing.

  • What is excluded from the 20% discount?

    There are a few items that are excluded from the promotion: Electronics and related accessories, American Girl® (other than Wellie Wishers™), Casper products, LEGO®, Gift cards, plum PLUS memberships and renewals, Love of Reading products/donations.

    The following baby brands are also excluded:

  • Who can sign up for Holiday Shopping Event?

    Any of our plum or plum PLUS members can sign up! If you’re not already a member of either our free or paid program, learn more click here.

  • Will all stores offer the Holiday Member Shopping?

    Most of our large format stores (Chapters and Indigo) will be participating although dates and times vary by location. Select your preferred store from the list above to see all available timeslots.

  • Can I bring a friend?

    You may bring one guest, just make sure you’ve reserved two tickets (one for you, one for your guest). Everyone, including children, must have a ticket to enter the store. To receive the 20% discount in-store, all event attendees will need to present their plum card; plum is free to join in-store or online. Click here to learn more.

  • What if I miss my timeslot?

    If you know in advance that you won’t be able to make your slot, you can cancel your reservation by emailing info@ticketscene.ca. If you’re simply running too late to be able to participate, unfortunately in order for us to accurately manage our stores’ Holiday Shopping Event capacity, you will need to rebook for a future timeslot.

  • What if I can’t find or never received my ticket(s) from TicketScene?

  • What is your mask policy?
