FAQ

What is Private Shopping?

A quieter, members-only shopping time slot, before or after our regular store hours. Customers will sign up in advance using Ticketscene, which means they’re able to browse with confidence and enjoy our great customer service while having an easier time with physical distancing. Because spots are reserved in advance, this is also a great option for customers wishing to shop with their families or other close “bubble” members.

Who can sign up for Private Shopping?

Any of our plum or plum PLUS members can sign up! If you’re not already a member of either our free or paid program, learn more here.

Will all stores offer Private Shopping?

At this time, only select stores are offering Private Shopping. We hope to expand this service to all large format stores (Chapters and Indigo) in time for the holiday season.

Are there any costs associated with Private Shopping?

There are no costs associated with Private Shopping at this time. This is a free, ticketed service. No purchases are required but tickets must be reserved.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely – just make sure you’ve signed up for enough tickets here. Everyone, including children, must have a ticket to enter the store, but a single person can reserve all the tickets on behalf of their family or “bubble” members.

What if I miss my slot?

If you know in advance that you won’t be able to make your slot, you can cancel your reservation by emailing info@ticketscene.ca. If you’re simply running too late to be able to participate, unfortunately in order for us to accurately manage our stores’ Private Shopping capacity, you will need to rebook for a future time slot.

What if I can’t find or never received my ticket(s) from TicketScene?
