Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highlight for therapy!! My son is autistic and this is one of his favorites during therapy sessions!! This item has multiple ways of learning and having fun while doing so!! Thanks Melissa & Doug for producing such great products!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We LOVE these blocks! We have a 15month old who loves building her blocks! Sometimes she wants to sit on them... or place her other toys inside! She's definitely using them to grow creatively!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for a toddler Very cute blocks, but I don't think cardboard blocks should be targeted for 2-4 year olds. At that age, everything is a chew toy. I would like this product way more if it was plastic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and a great teaching tool! I bought my little one this for Christmas. He loves stacking and knocking them down! I know that the bright colors and pictures will be an excellent tool for introducing the ABC's!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like them! I like them. My 19 month old has not torn them up yet. Idk what other ppl are experiencing saying they are cheap or not durable. They are cardboard but is a good quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colorful This is a wonderful learning tool. It affordable, compact, colorful and very appealing to my son. Only draw back is that they are done on cardboard...not always the most durable choice for boys.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fun for little ones There is a lot going on with these cardboard blocks; they can be used to stack, learn letters, animals, colours, etc. Good fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these blocks My 27 months old grandson loves these blocks. He just amazes me. He dumps the out, lines them up by size, stacks them, and then knocks them down, and laughs and claps his hands. Then he does it all over again. I just love watching him be so creative with these nesting blocks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought this for my three year old My son loves to make towers & I thought this would be a great item to teach him while he built. Unfortunately, I never ever guessed that it would be cardboard. Couple of days later & one of the blocks is crushed already, which ruins the alphabet without one of the blocks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My son loves it! At first when my father wanted to buy this blocks I thought my son (2 years old) wouldn't mind them, but hey I was SO wrong! My son loves to pile them up, to put them together in the box, the box it came has a rope handle that he loves to carry around. The only I didn't like is that he have this toy for less than a month and some boxes are already kinda damaged I was roping it was wooden but it's actually kindda cardboxy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great toy! My 1 and almost 3 year old boys both LOVE this toy, my oldest stacks it up and youngest knocks it over while they both laugh. It's also great just for pointing out letters and colors. My oldest son's favorite block is the Dinosaur! Stores easily and very durable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good concept, not durable The concept was great, my daughter loves to stack things and we are practicing the alphabet. However, they are basically cardboard boxes. She has bent a few and likes to try to rip the decoration off. Part of the problem is my rough and tumble child, but the other is the design. Does not live up to the durability we have come to love in all the other Melissa and Doug products we have.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good - but not as sturdy as I hoped I received this as a gift with one box missing. We couldn't get it replaced at the store since they said we wouldn't have gotten it that way - yes we did. Not a huge issue since the kids are young (1 & 2 yrs old). However 3 of the middle sized boxes broke/split pretty quickly. I am trying to find out if I can purchase replacement parts from melissa & Doug since the kids love these boxes (STILL!).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! This product is very similar to the stacking animal blocks. There is a serious glaring exception which make it a product to avoid. Unlike the animal blocks which are constructed of wood held together with a strong adhesive along each side, these alphabet blocks are constructed of cardboard and held together by a thin layer of glue between the paper and cardboard. Needless to say, my two year old has made fairly short work of them. She put a bit of weight on one of the larger blocks and it crumpled, and was easily able to disassemble another in one curious tear of the paper which is so loosely glued as to allow easy peeling and tearing of large strips. Worst toy I have ever bought from this company and I am left wondering why they would cheap out on the alphabet when at the same time doing such a great job on the animal block which have withstood the same treatment. I seriously hope they go back to the drawing board on this one and create a stronger version. With Disappointment, Shane

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful but CHEAPLY made! Picked up this item today at the store because my girls (twins) were ready for something like this. Beautiful blocks! Brought them right home to test out. Babies loved playing with them but (literally) within 5 minutes I noticed that some designs on the box were stickers and that corners were already beginning to peel off! Plus, within that time period, the design (on paper, I'm guessing) was already starting to disintegrate from use. SO DISAPPOINTING! It was a great value until I saw how it held up -- now I have to see if the store will even take them back as a return (unlikely). Complete waste of money (and time)- DO NOT BUY THESE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! I love this tower, I bought it because of the similarity to a Montessori Pink Tower without the hefty price tag. My boys love it and I have given it as a gift as well. I even recommended it to others on my blog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous gift for 1 yr old! We absolutely love this set of nesting blocks. Since our 16 month old received this for his birthday, we have spent countless hours stacking and restacking these blocks for him to knock down. We also practice his ABCs and his colors using these blocks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gift for first birthday and on... My daughter received this as a gift for her first birthday and she loves it. It is so much fun to build and then breakdown all while learning the alphabet. She is now almost three and still plays with it daily. I have gone out and bought this for two of her cousins.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would give this as a gift anytime This product is one of the only toys that my daughter always goes to several times a day. They keep her entertained even though she has tons of toys these are by far one of her favorites! The pictures on the block co-inside with the letters so I will ask her what starts with "A" and she will point to the alligator and so on. I think this toy makes spending time with your little one an interactive educational experience. I now give this as a gift to everyone who is expecting or as Shower gift, Christmas presents or Birthday Presents. Actually I am wondering if you can buy Wholesale as I seem to be buying these at least once a month!! Go out and buy these you won't be disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from poor condition A friend bought these for our child. I can see how it will be a great interactive learning tool. However, the actual boxes are not in mint condition. Some of the boxes have tears in the corners. There is a small food stain inside one of the boxes! This product looks like it has been used and played with a lot. In the interest of saving time and resources, I am probably not going to exchange the product. However, I am skeptical of buying anything off this site.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Third far. I wouldn't say these are flimsy, but my daughter really gnawed on our first sets (she puts everything in her mouth). However, these are so inexpensive and so much fun, that I didn't mind replacing them. Both of my children stack the blocks, count them, and knock em down as hard as they can. No one gets hurt b/c their just cardboard (thankfully).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them Our 20 month old love to stack these, knock them down, and also nest them. He also loves to point out the pictures that correspond with the with the letter - my favorite is the snake sipping soda with a straw. However, we can't figure out the U - and umbrella and then maybe an ugly duckling?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A simple and excellent toy My grandson is 15 months old. He loves these blocks. He loves to build them up knock them over and fit them into each other. This is a toy they bring on all vacations and something he plays with everyday. We also count as he builds and soon will introduce the alphabet. We lost a couple of the blocks, therefore I am buying another set for him.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lots of fun, but for how long My daughter received these for her first birthday. She loves watching us stack the blocks up and then knocking the tower over. She also really enjoys the pictures on the sides and can point out a number of the animals already. We have a lot of fun with these blocks! Unfortunately, after less than two weeks of use, the corners are already starting to dent and the paper is beginning to peel off of some of the blocks. I realize these blocks are meant to be stacked and nested, but of course kids are going to knock them over as well! We've played with other versions of these blocks (made by other companies) that are much more durable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not durable My kids got these for Christmas. They are made from cardboard and paper. My little girl had the paper eaten off the first week and my son had a couple of them broke down a couple weeks later. I really wish i would have paid the extra money for the wooden ones or shopped around from some wooden ones with the ABC's. I LOVE Melissa and Doug products and this is the first one i've been really dissapointed with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun, but poor construction use of paint Great for stacking up high and asking where a specific animal is and watching my son go in circles looking at each block until he sees it and points to it! (He's only 14 months old too!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright and fun We saw these at a friend's house and got our own set. My 15th month old likes stacking them, or trying to stack them and definitely knocking them down. She also likes nesting them and unnesting them. They gave me an idea to use her nesting cups in the same way. I never tried stacking them, but they stack, too. And I was surprised to see how much she liked carrying around the box by its little red string handle. Just goes to show they think of everything. One thing really bothers me about this set: The box reads: STACK BY LETTER COLOR SIZE but I'll be durned if I can figure out what on earth they mean by stacking by color. I cannot find the pattern and it is driving me crazy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not teeth proof My 17month old son adores these blocks and we spend hours stacking and re stacking them inside of each other and on top to build towers. The down side of these blocks is that the finish has worn off and every corner, on each block, is pulled up, revealing just card board where the paper has pulled away and rubbed.
