Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not like the classic game I bought this online for my boyfriend because he loved Lite Brite as a kid (he’s now 30 years old). The board is not the same size (smaller) and the pins cannot be placed like on the original board. He was a bit disappointed because he was not able to make the same images as he did when he was a kid. I would not have bought it if I would have had the chance to see the product before.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Classic Classic toy from the 70s, but this is not quite the same. Kind of disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not What I'd Hoped Got this for my girls for Christmas to hopefully give them some of the fun I had as a kid. The surface is so small! They can barely get anything on it. They currently use it as a night light :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not quite as good as the original I loved this toy as a kid, so I was very excited when my kids got this as a gift. They were initially interested because I had hyped it up so much, but their excitement quickly fizzled out. This is not a toy for your modern tech savvy kid, my kids found this boring

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay Fun, but not how I remember it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not enough papers Bought this for my boys for Christmas. While they liked it, they were so disappointed that it only came with 2 pages. They were done by Boxing Day and Indigo doesn't seem to sell refills. If it came with more refills or if they were easy to purchase, this would be a better toy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic toy Played with this toy for hours and hours growing up. So nice to see it back in the stores.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Midleading packaging From the cover image it definitely looks like your classic lite brite based on the placement of the product and the assumed size of the two children on the cover. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The actual play area is a little larger than 5.5"x7.5" Not the Lite Brite of my youth. It also comes with only two template images and no blanks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great gift for little kids! I have given this as a birthday gift from our daughter to a few different children. I figure it is classic, fun and something unique! ( not to mention vintage! ) It has always been a hit!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing We bought this for my son for christmas and he has played with it twice. He finished all the cards provided in less that half an hour and making your own designs is very limited because the pieces are shaped. Wish we would have kept the box so we could return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different than I'm used to! I was a little disappointed with this at first, as I expected something more like the original! Which is entirely my own fault because I didn't fully read the details. But, in their defense, this is probably much better for kids as I have a 4 year old! I bought this as a Christmas gift, so we haven't played with it yet, but I love the fact that is has a container for the pegs. And by reading other reviews, I am happy to hear that the pegs are rubbery and stay in better than the original!(Forgot how much they fell out!)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A fun toy My daughter received this gift for Christmas last year (she was 4) but with all the pieces I just felt she was too young for it, hoping to open it up soon. Lots of options with all the different pieces, it is cute that there are different shapes too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Improvement from my childhood version My daughter got this for Christmas and absolutely loves it! The pieces are more rubbery then the ones I remember playing with and so are easier to grab and stay in the peg board better. The pieces come in some different shapes and make awesome pictures. The light in the toy must be LED, because it doesn't heat up like the old one either. Also, I love the storage box that can attach to the Lite Brite. So far my daughter has used the reusable picture cards many times, but hasn't taken the liberty of designing her own pictures on the plain peg board. So cool that she can do that in the future though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Classic Lite Brite not a keeper I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and returned it after we saw how disappointing it was. The screen is very small, the light isn't bright and it comes with very few designs.
