Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Starter Game Crazy Cereal Electronic Game by Educational Insights is a very simple game that is perfect for young kids. It comes with two spoons that light up (AAA batteries required and not included) and kids have to collect the color cereal pieces that correspond to the spoon color. Like I said, simple but fun. It is perfect for teaching kids colors, dexterity and friendly competition. You could even change the rules and go for certain shapes or do it by closing your eyes and seeing which color you picked. This is a perfect starter game for preschoolers. I received this product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cereal, it's not just for eating! We love this game! It's colorful, easy to play (or make up your own rules) and perfect when we need a little pre-meal distraction. Who doesn't love bright colors, flashing lights and well, CEREAL? It's great for counting, sorting, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and family fun. BEWARE, it will make you want to eat sugary cereal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I already bought this product for my daughters' friend also This game is adorable. At first I thought it looked too easy for my 4 1/2 year old but I was way off. She loves it! It is great for hand eye coordination and for many laughs. It helps with practicing colors too. The colors are vibrant and the flashing spoons are a hit. She plays with her older sister (12), friends, and mommy......and everyone has enjoyed it. I highly recommend this game. We just got one for her friend as a birthday gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy Fun My sons love this game! My five year old can play with my three year old without arguing because they both enjoy trying to dig into the bowl for the color that they need without dropping it. I'm just glad it's educational and they can play together so I get a few moments to myself ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple but fun This game was very simple but very fun! My children all loved this game and wanted to play over and over. The youngest did not understand that you pick up the cereal color according to the light on the spoon but he really enjoyed just racing to see who can get the most cereal. This was great for developing his fine motor skills! My older two kids understood and they went to town! The simplicity of this game was the best (they could play on their own without me explaining things). My only complaint is I wish this game was a 3-4 player game and not just 2, so all my kids could play together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun game, easy set up We enjoyed this game for the pace and, obviously, the light up spoons :) It's great hand-eye coordination practice and counting when the game is over. The bowls and pieces are all good quality and it's a simple game to play. We'd buy this for age 4-5 friends for sure!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great concept best suited for 3 year olds This is a fun game that will teach children focus and mental speed - think fast and move fast. Red light blinking, pick up red cereal, blue light co-ordinates with blue cereal and then 'crazy mode' , -pick up 3 colors at the same time. While my 4 and 5 year old completed the game in a matter of minutes, they still enjoyed the' crazy mode' part of the game . I believe that it is more suited for a 3 year old as it promotes great motor skill, color recognition, hand/eye coordination and counting. The spoons and all of the game materials are of superior quality and not cheap plastic so it's a real sturdy product for little competitive hands. Great concept and best for 3 year old

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality game, great for developing some motor skills Cute game, my kids (6,4) loved the packaging and couldn't wait to open it. Its definitely made well, quality pieces, not flimsy or cheap. They played a few rounds by themselves, then the older one kind of lost interest. I think this is a good game for ages 3-5 because the concept is simple enough that they can understand what they need to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game for preschoolers. Crazy cereal is a fun game that is simple for preschoolers that helps work on motor skills, sorting, colors and counting in a fun and exciting way. My 4 year old doesn't always have the longest attention span so the short and fast paced game was good for her. She'd even play it a few times in a row. My 7 year old also liked it and played with her younger sister. There was a big difference in ability so the 7 year old had to slow down a bit to let the 4 year old play too. It works best with a more even match. They both love the color changing light up spoons.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for young kids My four year old really liked it, and played with it as soon as we got the package! My older kids liked it too, but after a few days the game pieces were being used to make up their own games. I think it's a good game for younger kids, but mine lost interest after a while.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everyone Needs a Bowl of Crazy Cereal! My 4 year old was engaged the moment she saw the box! I told her we had to wait for her brothers to go to sleep, so she asked every 20 minutes if it was bedtime yet. Once we had played following the rules, we made up a number of new ways to play. Over the last week, even my two year olds have joined in the fun! We have played the traditional way, playing follow the leader to match colour or shape, counting as we moved them from the big bowl to the little bowl, and of course pretend food. Overall, I was very impressed. We've tried a few games that say they are fun to play with preschoolers, and this was the first one that really met that claim. Now I need to go hid it before they ask to play AGAIN!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy Cereal....Crazy Fun! What a great game by EI! We love to play games from EI...but this game might take the prize for most creative! The packaging is amazing and so appealing...loved how the details of the packaging resembled what you would actually see on a cereal box! The pieces are so durable and easy to manipulate. This game combines so many different skills: color recognition, one-to-one matching, counting, comparing, and fine motor skill development. You can also talk about shapes, and how to play fair especially since it's a game between 2 people. My 5 year old did not want to stop playing. He took the initiative to set it up, start the game, count all of the pieces, and do it all over again each time we played. It's also a game that does not drag. In the kids mind, there is only one goal: to get all of the pieces. Meanwhile, they do not realize they are incorporating so many different skills while trying to win the game. I am so thrilled to have this game in our collection!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy for Crazy Cereal We tried out Crazy for Cereal last night and my soon to be 5 year old loved it! She was amazed at the spoon changing colors and loved trying to find the matching pieces. This is a fantastic learning tool for younger children. It teaches color recognition , sorting skills, fine motor skills, hand eye coordination , independent play and team building skills. I love the quality of Educational Insights products they are durable and you know they have lasting power which is so important when you have smaller children. I love the packaging as well because it makes clean up so easy and organized so you won't be losing any pieces. Thank you Educational Insights for another amazing product! * I was given this product to provide an honest review*

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Kids Love This Game My 3 and 5 year old both love this game. It's fast paced, but still lots of fun for them to race to pick up the right pieces of cereal when the spoon flashes. They absolutely love it! It's great practice for fine motor (scooping up one piece at a time) and color recognition. You can also have them count their pieces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crazy Cereal Game The Crazy Cereal Game from Educational Insights is a fun learning game that mixes fine motor skills with color identification and sorting. The game includes two blue cereal bowls, a large clear bowl, two spoons that light up when batteries are added, plus pretend cereal pieces in yellow, orange, red, blue, and green. To play the game, you need to add AAA batteries to the spoons (not included) and then the players race to pick up the colored cereal pieces that match the color that is lit up on the spoon. The goal is the be the player with the most pieces in your blue bowl when the clear bowl is emptied of the colored cereal pieces. What We Liked: -Kids can learn while playing - always a win win! -The pretend cereal is a super fun way to make the game interesting for the kids. -Math skills like sorting and counting are a part of the game as well as fine motor skills What We Didn't Like: -There's only one way to play the game. -It wasn't as interesting for my 7 year old; I think it would be best for ages 4-6. -The spoons only light up with red, blue, green, and yellow, so the only time players can pick up the orange pieces is when the spoons flash in "crazy" mode (all the colors flash at once). The added bonus is that my daughter loves to use the bowls and cereal as pretend food to "feed" her dolls. :) I received a complimentary game from Education Insights in exchange for this review; all opinions are my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and Engaging! Crazy Cereal was a super fun game for my girls (5 and 8 years old). They both enjoyed the game, but especially my 5 year old. I am a big fan of fun, educational games because they promote patience, perseverance and good sportsmanship. For any 5 year old, these skills can be a challenge. Even though we had a few tears about "fairness", the girls wanted to play the game again and again. In order to play the game effectively, you had to watch the colors on the light up spoon and you had to be quick to gather your cereal pieces to match. This was perfect in helping to promote fine motor skills in my 5 year old. If the spoon flashes a different colors at the same time, then you were able to gather any cereal you wanted. After all of the cereal was collected, my 5 year old counted all of the pieces, which was great for math. We also sorted the pieces by color and then by shape. These simple activities allowed for a lot of fun and hands-on learning!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game for prek collection My four year old loves to play games- and he loves this game! It's great for motor skills, focus, color recognition and following directions. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very versatile! This is a fun game for preschoolers, though it does require a bit of adult direction and support. That said, my preschoolers with special needs have found their own ways to play! The speech pathologist in my classroom also utilized a speech device to allow a child to pick the shape and color that two other kids would need to pick out of the bowl. This game is a great way to practice fine motor, shapes, and colors while having a fun time. And, when the game loses it's pull as a game, my students have taken it in to the dramatic play center to have as breakfast!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Kid Appeal, Fast Paced Educational Insights Crazy Cereal is fast paced electronic game. Upon arrival, my son and daughter ages 7 and 4 were drawn to the cheerful illustrations covering the box. I have to applaud the box design. It mimics an actual cereal box quite well with nutritional information, a maze to do on the back, and so on. My children couldn't wait playing this game as it promised laughter and fun! Before play, a parent, teacher, or guardian will need to locate 2 AAA batteries and install one each into the game spoons per the instructions given. This step only takes a few minutes. A normal sized Phillips head screwdriver sufficed in the installation process. The batteries are solely needed for the LED color changing lights which match individual pieces of cereal. Each of the spoons has an auto-shut off mode which saves batteries and the sheer wonder if everything was turned off after game play. This two player game focuses on matching and color recognition skills. It's a fast paced and is usually is over in about five minutes. Whoever has the most pieces of cereal in their bowl at the end wins. There's a bit a variation to the game to keep things interesting. Skill is required in scooping up one piece of cereal and then two at a time into their own bowls with only using one hand. This game can help with sharpening motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It provides a challenge and also can be used as an aid to teach patience and good sportsmanship with others. Aside from playing the game as instructed, the game pieces can be used as an aid in teaching or pretend play. The cereal pieces designs are a circle loop, star, and a waffle type square. The colors of each are red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. The high quality pieces can be used to create patterns, practice motor skills without the speed of the game, and as math manipulatives. My son and daughter seemed to find this game fun. Their only disappointment was that it was over somewhat quickly. To expand game play we decided they would play three rounds. I had to remind them the first few times about the only picking up the cereal using the spoon and not their other hand. I really like that this game provides challenge. At the end of each round, I had the kids count the pieces they collected in their bowls. They were enjoying themselves so much that I bet they didn't realize they were learning and developing important skills too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fun game Fun game. I tried playing by the rules, but the lights went too fast. the kids did not like that part. I am an occupational therapist and have used this in many of my treatments. I do modify it to make it more applicable to my clients with special needs. It is a fun way to work on scooping and self-feeding skills without the pressure of actually eat it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Great game for the kiddos!! My little ones are 2 & 4 & I made sure to stay with them while they played so the 2 year old didn't eat the cereal, but they had a great time! This will really help the little ones hand/eye coordination!! Great game! One little typo on my instructions though. It said there are 45 pcs (15 of each color), but there are 5 colors, so really it is 45 pcs (9 of each color).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Kids Are Hooked This is seriously one of the funnest games we've even played! Even I enjoyed it and I'm not a huge game player (shhhhh don't tell my kids). Crazy Cereal is fun, educational and will get lots of laughs out of your little ones! I think there are many reasons my kids like Crazy Cereal so much. First of all, they love cereal! I mean, who doesn't? Especially the bright, colorful fun kind! My one year old was instantly all over these thinking they were real and tried to eat them! There is a warning that this is not for children three years and under due to the choking hazard. Jax definitely puts that to the test so we have to play at a high table or during nap time. I think the main appeal is the light up, fun spoon. Everyone loves things that light up! Paige played with her Nana who was visiting us. Paige is five and I was able to read the simple instructions to her once and she got it right away. The game is pretty simple. There's a bowl of cereal in the middle and you have to use your spoon to collect cereal and whoever has the most at the end wins! The spoon flashes different colors and you can only collect the color that is lit up. If you aren't fast enough the color will change on you before you are ready! The only time you can get more than one is in "crazy mode" where the spoon starts flashing all different colors. Then you can collect two at a time! This is a fun game that keeps you thinking fast and moving fast! It promotes great motor skills in the little ones and helps work on their colors, hand/eye coordination and counting. I have found with other companies that sometimes these funner, electronic games are of lesser quality. These, however, are nice thick spoons that won't break and equally strong bowls and cereal pieces. As a mom, I like all the educational things about it and that they have fun doing it. And yes, I admit, I like that there's only two players at a time so when both my older kids play, mom can't! I know, it's terrible. I admit it! It's a fun game and all but mommy has things to do! My kids love to play Crazy Cereal and I don't think a day has gone by the past few weeks that they haven't requested to play it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun game to promote hand-eye coordination This is a cute game. It is a two player game where the children have to scoop up the cereal pieces that match the color their spoon is flashing. Whoever ends up with the most cereal pieces in their bowl, wins. My boys are four and six. My four year old really enjoys the game, but my six year old gets bored with it. The game helps with color recognition and hand -eye coordination.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crazy Fun! Oh My Goodness! How Crazy is this Game?! We received this game as part of a test panel and my 4yo absolutely LOVES it. She didn't even let me put batteries in the spoons before we started playing it and when I was finally able to, she loved it even more. I like that we can "teach" many different things by what we collect in our bowls. From counting, to colors, to shapes, it's so much fun and she doesn't even think of it as School Time. Only Con I would add, is I wish there was a baggie for the cereal to be kept in for storage. I'm pretty sure we've already lost a few pieces here and there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 Player Game That Is Fun For Kids and Adults One unique challenge of parenting an only child is finding amusing, engaging games that can be played with only one child and one or two parents. Some games need more that 2 or 3 players to last longer than 5 minutes, others are just too simple for the adults to hold interest! Crazy Cereal might just very well be the solution we've been looking for! The objective of the game is to sort through a bowl of plastic "cereal" pieces and scoop them up according to the current color of the provided light-up, color-changing spoons. It is not a timed game per se, but each individual color only appears for a few seconds before changing to another. That element provides an opportunity for focus and attention. And even though there are two players, each individual player is really competing against her/himself until the very end, when the totals are tallied. But the real benefit for preschoolers and early elementary students is the fine motor practice as they are required to isolate a single color of cereal and spoon it out, one at a time (unless the spoon is in 'crazy' mode, wherein you need to pick up two pieces at a time). The visual discrimination and hand-eye coordination needed to pick out the cereal pieces is excellent practice to refine small muscles and the pincher and pincer grasps. As a Montessori early educator, I could see this as a great at-home extension for some of the Practical Life work in the Children's House (PreK/K) classrooms. As a parent, I love that the game can easily be played by my child by herself, with the addition of a kitchen timer. It is also a skill game that is not quite as boring as other children's favorites (Candyland, I am looking at you). The cereal pieces are rather small and do resemble actual food so take caution with young children, even those in the 3-4 range. The spoons will also be likely to end up in mouths or actual food, just because they are so novel. Please note that the spoons do require a total of 2 AAA batteries (1 each) that are not included in the packaging. I received the Crazy Cereal Game from Educational Insights for review purposes. All opinions and ratings are truthful and my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game! We received Crazy Cereal as a gift for our kids (ages 4 and 3 yr old twins). They love it! It comes with 2 personal cereal bowls, one serving bowl and two spoons that light up with the different colors. The goal is to pick up cereal pieces that match the light on your spoon, then when it flashes pick up any two pieces - especially the orange ones! The kids love the competition aspect of it and like that it is their favorite food - cereal! The 4 yr old follows the rules and uses his spoon that lights up and picks out the right colors. He loves to call out what color comes up next. The 3 yr olds just want to pick up any color, but they get the concept. I only wish it came with more spoons so we could all play at the same time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun for all This is a fun game for preschools and up. The 8-9 yr olds I work with also liked it. As a speech therapist, I am always looking for fun games to play that will work on multiple skills. This one worked on following directions, memory, and receptive language. The kids love the lights changing colors on the spoons. It can be altered to work with children of all language levels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exciting Game This is a simple and fun way to learn colors, improve eye-hand coordination, strengthen forearm skills (palm-up to palm-down movements), improve utensil use, hand/finger strength, visual scanning skills, figure ground, and attention. This game needs to be played in adequate lighting as it becomes difficult for children to distinguish the blue from green and red from orange in inadequate lighting. The plastic bowl, cereal, and spoon makes it difficult to successfully scoop and keep the cereal on the spoon when attempting to transfer it from the large bowl into the small bowl. If I could modify the game, I would may be change the depth of the spoon so that it was deeper (not as flat) and make the cereal pieces a little heavier or make it out of a material that wouldn't slip/slide against the plastic spoon. Overall, a really fun game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, Crazy, Fun game for toddlers My kids love games. There are three bowls (one for each kids and one that goes in the middle) and then two spoons, and each spoon has a flashing light in it. They get the color of "cereal" that is flashing on their spoon and put it in their bowl. The light changes colors, and it is a fun race for them to see who can collect the most cereal first. When the light on their spoon flashes different colors they can collect two cereal pieces at once. It is a fun fast-paced game that they play over and over. Disclaimer: I received product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kid Friendly Battle Game in a Bowl Inside the box are little little cereal pieces that resemble candy. I would most certainly keep this away from little ones under 4 because they can choke on the pieces. Anyhow, this game is a little stressful for my kids because they have to be the first to get all their colored pieces out of the bowl. It does help to improve fine motor skills in 4-5 year old, but it also winds them up and gets them agitated. Maybe it is just my kids but this stresses them out. I love the packaging, bowls, spoons, and pieces but I feel like the game could be a little more interactive. It also requires two AAA batteries which are not included.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crazy Fun My daughter loves games that can be both games and a part of her pretend play. I thought this game would be perfect for her. She carries the bowl around the house, using the spoons to feed her "babies." My older kids love the craziness of the game. The game comes with spoons that light up and flash the color of the cereal that the player is to scoop out of the bowl. It goes very quickly. it has been a great outlet for them when they come home after a stressful day of school. This is a great game for Christmas and for birthday gifts, for both boys and girls.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast paced game for preschoolers I received Crazy Cereal Game free for review. All opinions are my own. Crazy Cereal is a fast paced, 2 player, electronic game. A AAA battery is needed for each of the 2 spoons. Once set up, the spoons start to light up and change colors. The object of the game is to match the color of the cereal piece you're picking up with the color the spoon is lighting up as. The person who collects the most pieces of cereal at the end of the game wins. The biggest problem we had with this game was finding a screwdriver small enough to use to unscrew the batter case in the spoons so we could play the game. In the instruction manual it says there is built in battery conservation by having the spoons automatically turn off after a certain amount of time. Our 6 year old had no trouble with this game. She quickly filled her bowl matching the color of the spoon to the playing piece. Our youngest, age 4, struggled a bit more with this. It took her longer to process the color and match it, and by the time she figured it out, the spoon had already changed colors. I would love to see a beginner and advanced setting on the spoons to allow for easier or harder game play to accommodate the kids varying skill levels. Overall the kids loved this game and requested to play it again and again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun for developing hand eye coordination I received the Crazy Cereal Game for review purposes. While this is not a game I'd normally buy since we don't eat colorful cereal, it's a really fun game for my 4 and 6 year old to play. I love that it only takes about 5 minutes for the game, so they won't lose interest in it. It's great for developing hand-eye coordination for younger children. It's something fun and interactive they can do together when they need something to fill the time. Super fun for kids ages 4+

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy kids make a crazier game! This is a two player game that can be as manic or as calm as the personalities of your kid dictates! With my four year old, it started out nice and calm, green spoon green cereal, blue spoon blue cereal, but after a few go rounds he really had the hang of it and it became a mad dash. Getting him to stick to the one piece at a time rule was hard, but we found that didn't really matter, he had fun with it however we played it. My two year old was the surprise fan of this game. Of course, he couldn't really follow the rules, but the longer he did it the more co-ordinated he became and I could see using this daily to help him develop his hand eye co-ordination. This would be perfect for a game to play on Thanksgiving Day, taking something so simple and everyday and turning it into a fun food game. Now to convince my son not to eat his real cereal with these spoons!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun For All! This is such a great game! My four and eight year old children love playing this game together and the room is always filled with laughter when they play it. Because of their age gap, it can often be difficult to find something they can play together that entertains them equally. This is defiantly one of those games that they can enjoy together, bound, and create lasting memories!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Colorful Fun! Crazy Cereal Game is a two player game that is simple yet exciting. The game includes 2 electronic light up spoons, 1 cereal serving bowl, 2 player bowls and 45 cereal pieces. This game helps with color recognition and counting. It is for ages 4+. My 7 year old loves to play over rand over again. Provides lots of simple fun. I was provided this game for review purposes all opinions are 100% mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Learning colors is so much fun. This will help your child with small motor skills, hand eye coordination, colors and much more. Everyone will want to play with the blinking spoon and find it hard to wait their turn. I love educational games and feel that they are a must for kids. Totally recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super fun! A+ This is a hilarious game where you put plastic cereal in the included plastic bowl. Each player has an electronic spoon. Each player tries to get as much cereal in their own bowl using the spoon as they can. The player with the most cereal in their bowl wins. But it's not as simple as it sounds. The spoons light up with a color and that is the color of the cereal you can pick up. You can only pick up one piece at a time as well. Then there's crazy mode where you can pick up two pieces of cereal. And you can only use one hand. This is an awesomely fun game and is sure to produce lots and lots of giggles. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast Game to Play before Bed Since my oldest has started school, the schedule has been hectic. We used to always be able to fit in game time and story time each night. However, now sometimes it can be quite the task. I am so glad that I came across the Crazy Cereal Game by Educational Insights. It is a quick game that can easily be played after bath time yet before story and bedtime and it makes my boys happy whenever I pull it out. My three and four year old love playing this game and my two year old loves trying to play it too. It is a lot of fun and my four-year-old loves telling my younger two the colors that he knows. I am all for educational games and this one has to be one of the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a fun game! This crazy cereal game is a great toy for kids to bond with each other. My daughter loves how there aren't many rules, and she likes how it looks real and the spoon lights up. This is a great idea for gifts and is a cute toy to have for indoor play for all genders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fun Game My grandchildren are 4,6,& 8. I'll start with the negatives. This is only a 2 player game. We play while one is still napping or when just 1 or 2 of them are here. That's it - other than that the game is awesome. The 4 year old gets practice with her shapes, colors and counting - big plus! The 6 and 8 year old's just crack up at getting the cereal and keeping it on the spoon (a lot of giggling and funny comments back and forth to make the other try to lose their cereal.) They think that is hilarious! It is a quick game with fast clean up so they (we) can play 1 game while waiting, for say dinner. Play several games to get their mind off the rain or to give grandma a break from more vigorous activities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute game that my boys love This game is very cute with plastic cereal bowls and spoons too. The spoon lights up a certain color and you have to pick up 2 pieces of that color with the spoon out of the cereal bowl. You keep repeating until all the pieces are out of the cereal bowl. My boys are 6 and 7 and found this to be a fun game. The game goes fast but they played several rounds as they both wanted to be winners. I love that the pieces are colorful and made of durable plastic. Storing the game is easy as all pieces nest together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Making Learning Fun My 2.5 year old son LOVES this game. He loves colors and matching so this game was the perfect one for him. When we played this game we didn't do it like a competition. We just played it as a learning game. I didn't put all of the pieces in the bowl...just a few so he didn't get too confused. Then I helped him find the piece to match the color of the spoon. As he gets older we will play it more like a game and teach his friends how to play. For right now though, he is loving matching the colors and counting his pieces at the end. Anything to make learning fun is a great thing to have around!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy Cereal plus hand eye coordination Crazy Cereal is the perfect game for your preschooler. The recommended age range is 4 plus and my 4 and 5 year old loved it and could play on their own easily. The rules are very simple and this is a game your little ones can play on their own building confidence and allow children to bond with each other. The light up spoon makes the game exciting for little ones and helps them to learn their colors or to practice their colors if they already know them. Crazy Cereal is also great for teaching children to count. Mine love counting their cereal pieces to see who won. On top of that Crazy Cereal is great for hand eye coordination; scooping cereal pieces on the spoon isn't as easy as you think for a little one. This is the perfect game to polish hand eye coordination and may even save you a few real spills at the dinner table by helping kids hone the skill of using their spoon properly! My children loved Crazy Cereal and I give it 5 stars this is the perfect game for little ones!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for ages 4+! My 6 year old is having a blast playing this game with his kindergarten class mates. It's a quick game (less than 5 minutes), so it's great time filler when you don't want to get too involved in anything. The directions were very clear and easy to understand, even for the kids. I felt my 3 year old was a little too young to play though, as it was too fast paced for her. This game is great for teaching kids to sort, count, matching. hand-eye-coordination and fine motor skills. This will make a great holiday gift!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun fast-paced game This is great game to help your kids think quickly on their feet. The battery-powered spoons change color, indicating what color cereal piece you can put in your bowl. When I played it with my 5-year-old, I wondered why they gave so much time before switching colors -- only to look over at my child still taking his turn. Those little brains take time to process the color change and figure out what their next step is :) He definitely got faster as the game went on and asked to play it again. When my 2.5-year-old played, he got distracted by the spoon's changing colors, so I think the suggested 4+ age range is probably accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun for all ages This game is great for color recognition! My daughter is only 2, but she can still comprehend enough to play a simple version of the game with my supervision. It also really helps her develop her motor skills by picking up the cereal pieces without dropping them, and placing them in her bowl. It's also fun for toddlers to pretend they are playing with a bowl of cereal! Would definitely recommend this game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun! We all love this game. So much fun. Easy instructions. Good practice for my 4 year old, trying to find the colors and her fine motor skills, trying to pick up one piece of colored "cereal" at a time. My 9 year old and I also played it over and over while we hung out in our hotel room on vacation. It's not that big so you can take it along with you anywhere. I would definitely buy this as a birthday gift.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect game for 4+ Unique game and easy to understand. Our 4 & 9 yr olds love to play it with each other. Note: distinguishing colors Red & Orange can be difficult. Bonus: knocking out the cereal out of opponent's (kid's) spoon

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and Fun Game My youngest is one month shy of 4 years old. She was so excited when I opened the game box. Right away she understood the instructions. The only thing she has to work on is remembering to only use one hand. She has played this game with her 1st and 3rd grade siblings as well as some tweens and teens. Every one of them had fun playing the game. My youngest already knows her colors but this game helps with quick matching as well as motor skills.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Game This game was a lot of fun for my kids. They loved the feel of something familiar like a bowl of cereal turned into a game. I was worried my son would be bored with it since he already knew his colors, but he really enjoyed playing with it. Matching the colors, and making it a race was fun for him. I would recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game for reviewing colors! This is a fast paced, 2 player game that is great in working with or reviewing colors. It also helps to reinforce fine motor skills, since the players have to scoop the "cereal" pieces with a spoon. My 2 children love this game, and it keeps them entertained for a while!
