Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST I researched magic kits and they all look alike, but this oen is absolutely wonderful. With other kits we spent a looooong time reading directions or trying to do difficult manuevers. The Melissa and Doug kit is for the most part a breeze to use, relying on excellently crafted wooden pieces that do the magic for you. Within minutes my 6 year olds were doing magic and loving it! I love the nicely painted materials. There was a number trick I never did understand. Also the pieces for one trick can get stuck in another (that the sure look they should go into!). Overall though, I give this 5 stars without hesitation. It's also a great value - costs about 25% more than similar kits but gives you many more hours of fun and virtually no furstration by junior magicians.
