Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love this game!! I have mostly played this game with adults and we have a great time! We like to toss "Steven" so then it's a race to who gets to him first if we finish close. I do have one con, it's only 4 players. PLEASE MAKE AN EXPANSION PACK! With more board and dice colors, more cards would be nice too but we mostly need the different colored boards and dice. Thank you!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game is great for people of all ages! We gave this game to our our 8 year old grandson for Christmas. I had never heard of it before but needed an extra present. What a wonderful surprise! It is great for the young, for teens and also for older adults who want to keep their minds active. I have a niece that is the activities director who is always looking for a challenge for her clients. I can't think of a better game for people of all ages!! I asked our local educational "toy" store to order it in , but have 't heard from them so I am ordering it directly. It will be great to have when we camp with or without our grandchildren.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun, Fun, repeated Fun. We loved the game, but my 10 year old has mastered the skills required. That actually made it more fun! he has a hard time letting go of the computational aspect of games, and this was fast enough to make him not care. Would recommend for families, and for kids 5-8.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun, fast-paced and educational! We received this game for free in exchange of a review. I thought my 8-year-old son, who LOVES math would really enjoy it, and I was right! We opened the box 3 days ago and now every time we have a free moment, he is asking to play. I like that it supports the elementary school curriculum which requires the kids to be able to add numbers 1-10 (in this case, 1-6) and also have them recognize quantities (as shown on the dice) very quickly. What I didn't expect was that my 4-year-old would enjoy it as well! I thought it would be way over his head (which it was) but instead of rolling the dice, I just had him look for whatever numbers we were looking for on his own set of dice (i.e. if the card asked for all 6s, he would just look on each die for the number 6 and place it in his rack). In this way, he's getting reinforcement of number recognition and understanding of quantity as well. Its a win-win for everyone, and also a lot of fun! Oh, and I love that the directions are printed on the inside of the box, rather than on a small piece of paper -- those directions always seem to get lost! Great game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great math game! I have a 6 and 3 year old, and I tend to purchase kid games that can work for both. This one was great for my 6 year old, and a little over my 3 year old's knowledge base. However, it is definitely helping him to learn! When I play this game with my daughter, I appreciate that we are reviewing math concepts she has learned, but she has no clue because she is having fun in competition! Educational Insights is so good at making learning fun for children!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun game! Everyone is engaged at all times! This is a very fun game. My son commented, 'It kept me on the edge of my seat!' We liked how all the players were engaged at all times during the game. The game is really a race to see who is the quickest to roll and match the pattern. We will play Even Steven's Odd again and again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Math Game I played this game with my 10 year old who is a whiz at math and we had a lot of fun! It is a fast paced game so we were able to squeeze in several rounds in a short period of time and it was hard to stop. He has been begging to play it every day since then! I think this is going to be a game night staple in our house from now on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this game! This game is quick paced and a ton of fun. I played it with my students and they could not stop laughing the entire time. They did not even realize that they were learning at the same time. I was able to use the starred cards "easier level" with preschoolers to help with their number recognition and one-to-one correspondence. The older students used it to reinforce their math skills. This is definitely a game we will continue playing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun for all Ages! We played this game tonight, it was so much fun! It is a extremely fast paced game, and is a great way to sneak in extra math practice, as a homeschooler I really appreciated that. Its a simple to play, without encumbering lists of rules, keeping the emphasis on fun. Time flies. The game is awesome for older children, mine are 11 and 13 and we enjoyed it immensely, however there are stars on some cards that would allow for play for younger children. If you are looking for a gift for any child I will highly recommend this one. If there was any improvement I would make it would be to make the dice holders plastic for longer lasting, but that is barely worth mentioning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would definitely recommend buying this product. What a fun game. We played it during a family fun night with our four kids ages 6-12. They had so much fun they did not want to put the game away at the end of the evening. I am sure they will play it amongst themselves and also insist on us playing it again on our next family fun night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Fun game, played with my 8 year old and she loved it. A little tricky at first with the odd numbers for her but she got a hang of it quickly. Great family game, we've played it 2 nights in a row!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun for the entire family! Being a math teacher by trait, I LOVE educational math games that are interactive and fun! Our entire family played this game, their ages ranging from 6 years old - 12 years old. Not only was it very interactive and fast-paced, but it brought out their math skills and fluency. "Even Steven" likes to follow us throughout the house even after the game has been completed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it! This game is super fun. It's not your ordinary board game and it's unlike anything my kids or I have ever played before. Lots of thought and creativity went into this game. It's one of those games that you want to play again as soon as it's over. The cute little plastic "Steven" dice is so appealing and adorable. My four year old took "Steven" out of the box before I had a chance to read the directions and tried to keep it for his own. The game says it's for ages eight and above. My six year old played it and we just took out the cards that were too hard for her. I can honestly say I have not had this much fun playing a game in a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great family game! Played this game worth my 8 year old (3rd grader) tonight for the first time. I was worried at first because she gets frustrated if she isn't winning and I don't like to let her win because it isn't fun for me. Little did I know how quick thinking she is! I honestly thought she was cheating at first she was doing so well and beating me! This is a great game for strategy, practicing even/odd numbers, adding, following directions, decision making. Great game for family game night!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast paced educational fun Played this game at at a family function, ages varying from 7-50. First time chose to be slightly difficult with the younger children, but they quickly grasped the concept. The card sequences vary in difficulty, and proved to be a good challenge, forces quick math thinking, as well as coordination. Would definitely recommend this game, our family has become addicted. The game pieces are strong, and hardy, love that the rules are printed inside the box (never to be misplaced). I received this game in exchange for this review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun for all! This was a great game! All of my kids loved it and we really enjoyed that there are two types of play cards, so that way my older children can enjoy a more challenging version or my younger children can enjoy a version more closely related to their age level. This game was easy to setup, learn and then clean up and it kept my children occupied the entire time I was making dinner and doing laundry (that's a miracle in my house!). I love that it has educational value, too! What a great game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally - A Game That's ACTUALLY Fun for the ENTIRE Family! Our whole family loves this game. It really is as much fun for parents as it is for kids. In fact, I could see this being a great party game for all adults, too! My 8 year old daughter was able to keep up with the challenges, and laughed right along with us as we raced to roll the numbers we needed and be the first to grab silly Steven. Highly recommend this as a great addition to your game closet or as a birthday or holiday gift. HUGE fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant game we would buy again and again! We were eager and ready to receive this game in the mail and it did not disappoint. It was so worth the wait! We loved everything about it from the packaging, the playing and the future planning to play again! I think it was brilliant to to print the playing instruction on the inside of the box...never have to worry about losing them. It was well laid out, easy to play, but more importantly fast paced, competitive and fun! We are game lovers and homeschoolers so anytime we can connect great fun with learning we consider it a great success. Even Steven's Odd is a great success! This is a game we will play over and over, whether it is while we are on a road trip, camping, at a friend's house or in our own living room. We would recommend this game to everyone, all ages, even the teen years!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Making Math Fun! Wonderful game that reviews math skills without kids even realizing it! As a mom and a teacher, this is wonderful. My kindergartener enjoyed playing, and so did my 3rd grade students. The easier cards are marked, so it is quick to separate those from the stack and vary the level of play. Love this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun, fast paced and educational game! I am a teacher in Santa Monica, CA. I played this game with my 2nd grade students in a math center and they loved it. I asked them what they liked about it and they said that it was fun, fast paced, and competitive. One child said it was the best board game he had ever played! As a teacher, I appreciated how it reinforced mathematical concepts like even and odd. I would highly recommend this math game to teachers and parents alike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great find This game was given to us as a gift. The kids really like that while playing the game they could turn it into a competition. I liked that it challenged their matching skills, we also used it to help with math. It was fun and the whole family enjoyed playing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another favorite for game night We got this game to expand our game night at home. When it arrived in the mail, the kids were instantly excited to get their hands on the Even Steven character! This is a really fun game for 2 people or the whole family. I liked that some of the challenges involved math to be done, but still kept it fun. There's nothing better than when kids are learning math skills and don't even realize it! The kids love this game, have played it many times since we got it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the funnest games in years My girls who are 6&7 have become obbssessed with this game. They love that they understand and can play the game by themselves. The idea of having playing cards that cater to younger children is great. The idea is to fill in all of your black squares on your card before your opponents and grab the cute little figure (Steven) before anyone else. This fast paced game keeps them busy for hours with out getting bored. It is great for playdates too. We as a family find ourselves wanting to play it over and over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this game! We LOVE this game! Since we received this game my 7 year old son requests to play it every moment of the day! The best description is a combination of Yahtzee and good old fashion spoons! It is a simple dice game using basic math skills and a cute mascot. The instruction cards are fairly simple with few difficult cards (probably best to go thru and remove the difficult ones for ages under 9). The difficult cards are hard due to the speed of the game. We have played so many times my son and I have began to sneak "Steven" in attempt to fake the other player out! Only recommendation to the creators is that when playing in a smaller playing area and younger children, the dice (made up of 3 white die and 3 colored die) sometimes get mixed when rolled. This game is now on my 2015 Christmas gift list for family and friends! Great game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun game for underlying fine motor and pre-academic skills My 4 y/o son enjoys this game, and always wants to play another round once we finish a game. The idea is to complete your food order by matching a food to the shape that you land on when you spin. There are little challenges to completing this task depending on what you land on when you spin, such as having to return a food, or having your opponent take a food from you, or missing a turn. It works on shape recognition, matching, visual scanning, as well as hand strengthening by having to use the "Frankie Squeezer tool" to pick up the food. The game boards, squeezer tool, spinner and box itself feel durable as well. A game seems to last just the right amount of time for my little one's attention span.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Steven is a hit! My kids, ages 7 & 10, enjoyed playing this game. They are competitive and it offered them a chance to sharpen their skills. It is really helpful for my 7year old. He had a harder time mastering the speed in identifying, which added to the fun. Grandma joined in to encourage longer play, and she loved it too. It is well made, and simple to put out and pack up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun game for all ages This was a fun game that adults and kids enjoyed. My daughter is 6.5 and had a lot of the game. She needed a little more help reading the cards (game is rated for 8+ years) and we skipped a few patterns that were a little more advanced. It helped her recognize patterns with the numbers and colors. It's fast paced which adds to the fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great family game! We loved this game- it was easy to play, fast paced, interactive and fun. Lots of different math concepts covered and the kids wanted to keep playing! Good for different age groups as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Game This game was good in helping my kid with his fine motor skills in that the player needs to roll 6 dice at a time and then place the dice according to direction into a board. It teaches even/odds and sequencing, but overall, it only involves chance and speed. The game goes quickly, so we were ready to move on to a different game in about a half hour.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun, quick dice game for kids and adults to play together We played this game multiple times so far and it is an overall fun game. It's really easy to learn the rules and anyone can play within minutes. The rounds are also very quick and you can complete an entire game in 10 minutes. It's a great game for my kids (6 and 9), although my younger one needed some guidance initially to understand what type of dice roles he needed. But once he played a few times, he started to get the hang of it. One of the things I really liked about the game is that you can play it competitively with kids without feeling the need to "play it easy" on the kids once they get the hang of it. As long as they understand the rules, anyone has a chance to win. On top of the competitive nature of the game, everyone is playing against each other every round (no one sits out or has to wait their turn), which makes it really engaging and fun right from the beginning. However, since it is a simple game, there isn't too much depth or strategy. Yes, there are better ways to go about completing the dice challenge cards, but that's about it. But I don't think the game was made to be overly complex anyway, so as long as you know what you're buying into, it's a fun game. Overall, we enjoyed the game and we plan on playing it more in the future. If you love games of chance and rolling dice, this is a good quick little game to play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Educational Fun for the Whole Family This game felt like a mixture of Yahtzee, Spoons, with math mixed in. We were all able to enjoy it as a family despite the big age gap between my 2 children. I have an 11-year-old and a 4-year-old, and most of the "easier" cards were just at the right level for my 4-year-old. The regular cards along with the speed element were a good challenge for my 11-year-old as well as for my husband and myself. We could have kept going if it were not for bedtime. Looking forward to playing it again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big hit for family game night! We had family game night and we really enjoyed the Even Steven's Odd game. It was great that my 5 year old was able to recognize the dice and place them where needed according to the cards and my 9 year old enjoyed it so that she didn't want to stop playing and beat me a couple of times. My daughter asked if she could bring the game to school.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game for our entire family! This game is so much fun for our ENTIRE family. We are a family of 5 and we love discovering new games. We have 3 children, twin 6 1/2 year olds and a 10 year old. This game is for up to 4 players so only 4 of us could play at a time, which worked out just fine. The game is marked for ages 8 and up. It was challenging for our 6 1/2 year olds to keep up but they still enjoyed trying. They even won a few rounds. :) They are definitely learning about odd and even numbers thanks to this game. It's always great when you can sneak in some education without them realizing it. We are a homeschooling family too so that happens a lot around here. LOL! I really appreciated how the cards were marked as being easier (red star in the upper right hand corner) or challenging. We used the easier cards when we played all together. My ten year old and I played the harder ones later and man were they challenging for this aging brain. My ten year old was so quick and beat me every game. The game is also well made and very durable. All the pieces are very sturdy, even the cards are nice and thick. The box is also very durable and I don't foresee it ripping at all, which is a plus for this borderline OCD mom. :) It is a very fun, fast-paced, competitive game. We played tonight for 90 minutes (the time just flew by) and had to force ourselves to stop playing because it was time to go to bed. Our kids were so sad that we had to stop playing. It's definitely our family's new favorite game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good exercise and cordination game Even Steven's Odd dice rolling game, is a good game for healthy and children and older adults with physical problems with grasping, concentrating, reaching forward, and thinking out math problems. Exercising the hand and arm in a fun way and interacting with others while doing so. Also it is not boring like exercises get to be, after repeating them for weeks. Having a chance to play with just one or two or three others means they could find someone to play with easier. Also if they want to play with Steven on the internet. A good game to advertise in physical therapy and educational and nursing homes and foster care publications. Having the solution often on the card right in front of one helps people with making sure they have the right dice in the dice holder frame in front of them. We played it in poor light while primitive camping in the evening and are 79 and 80 years old and enjoyed playing inventor Mary Jo Reutter's game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love EvenStevensOdd We LOVE this game!! We have 3 teenagers. It becomes a fun and competive game, who can grab Steven 1st. Everyone is laughing and racing to win. I wish Steven made some kind of noise then all players would know that the round was over quicker, which would make it that much more fun. As there are 6 people in our family, making this a 6 or 8 player game would be fabulous for us. I love to give this game as gifts. It is phenomenal!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Game and we have Tons of Games This is so much fun! The kids keep pulling it out and I always have to join in. My 4 year old can even play on the cards with the pattern picture. My teens enjoy it too. It never gets boring because dice can go anyway. We pair up or play as individuals. There aren't a lot of rules so it is easy to play. So much fun for all ages. I highly recommend this game. We have shelves full of toys and tons of games. They pull them out and lose interest. They keep playing this one so I had to review it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game! We received this game for our K-3 elementary school to be used for recess when the weather is bad. The kindergarten classes took a while to catch on, but really enjoyed the play. First and second grades really got into it and had a LOT of fun playing. Third grade enjoyed it, but I felt that after two games they were seemingly getting tired of it. It wouldn't be the first game we pull out for third game, but definitely a go-to for the younger grades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Liked it so much I ordered two more As a grandmother, I play this game with my ten and twelve year old grandchildren. It's fast and active and lots of fun. Everyone plays together so there's no waiting for your turn. I usually lose, but I'm finding that playing this game is really good brain exercise for me (and other senior citizens). Love it! Bought two more for gifts for my other grandchildren.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tons of fun for the whole family I gave this to my 5-year-old daughter at Christmas. She loves it. You can weed out the challenge cards that are too advanced for the younger kids and it is still fun the rest of the group. It has helped my daughter understand odd and even numbers. She already had a firm grasp on addition and subtraction. It's a game that can grow with your children. This game is fun for grown ups too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thumbs up! It was a quick game to learn and play. It moves quickly and the kids enjoy it. The cardboard holder for the dice is flimsy and easily knocked over in the heat of the game. It might be nice to have small boxes for the players to throw their dice into. We had some dice flying around and getting mixed up. It added to the excitement but opened up some frustration by some players. We would recommend this game to friends and family. We already have actually. My sister came for New Year's and it is on her birthday list. We are glad we won the game so we could try it and enjoy it. Good job to the creators!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Butterflies and Laughing Throughout! This game is extremely fun for adults too. I played this game with my family and it brought tons of excitement. Although it may seem simple at first, it is an intense and even funny game. We all had many laughs and butterflies in our stomach throughout. I thought the Steven doll character that came with the game was a great addition. We were all trying to roll the dice fast enough to grab Steven to win! I can't wait to play this again. In terms of education, I think this is a great game for elementary school students. I'm much older, but I can see the mathematics education value that this game offers to young students.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best new game! I LOVE Even Steven's Odd! What a fun game! I bought it for my nephews, but decided to try it out first. I had to buy a second game for them, because after playing, I didn't want to give 'mine' up. Fast paced and fun, I laughed with friends as we worked through the game. The educational value is purely a bonus, and appreciated...but the game is the best of Yahtzee, and vastly improved. If I haven't mentioned it yet, I LOVE THIS GAME!
