Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cannot hear the farmer Purchased for Christmas for grandson; big mistake! The grinding of the spinning arrow is so loud that you cannot hear the farmer and the animals sounds are barely audible. Huge waste of money and unable to return because the box was accidently tossed on Christmas morning. Big FAIL, Mattel! Huge disappointment. This was a toy my three kids loved as children. You should pull all of these toys from the stores and refund everyone that bought one their money. If I could rate this with a negative, I would because a one is too high a rating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for babies! I found both my boys loved listening to different sounds, and they can actually learn how to talk by making different sounds. So this is great to practice and you can make it interactive. The only thing is, I find that at times it seems to be off! Like the pointer doesn't point to the right animal when making the sound!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sooo disappointed. What have they done to See 'N Say? This used to be such a favorite toy of my kids, so I bought one for my twin granddaughters. The mechanism is so loud and the speech/animal sounds so soft that you can barely hear what it says. The mechanism noise is very distracting as well. So sad to see F-P no longer making a good toy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't work When we pulled the string, the arrow ended up at the wrong animal from what the sound was. This happened over and over. I imagine a child young enough not to know the difference would still like the sounds, but it would be hard for them to pull the string. It is frustrating not to have the arrow end up at the right spot - doesn't teach kids the correct animal sound and name.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classic Toy This is fun but the string is a little hard to pull for the very young. My girl is now 3 and she can do it on her own now. The sounds are good but the newer version does have more animals.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good fun for 1 year old great toy, helps with manual dexterity with the little ones when they use the spinner or pull to get the spinner moving. My one year old likes playing with this, and likes to keep spinning the arrow. The animal sounds keeps his interest going, This toy has him engaged for a good 5 minutes plus. And he'll play with it at least 2 or 3 times a day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good enough I was shocked at the size of this version. But actualy the smaller size is nice to use with my 7 month old, it is easier to hold both her and the toy in my lap than the larger one would be. The sounds isn't great but it still gets her attention.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Total Disappointment Buyer beware. Calling all children of the the 70s and 80s this is not the classic See and Say you played with. The original was heavy plastic and the size of an LP record. This is equivalent to a 45 record or a 8 or 9 inch frying pan. It is made of cheap plastic and akin to a travel size version of a game. Not worth $30.00 and looks like it would break after 1 day of a toddler playing with it. So much for online shopping!
