Customer Reviews of GoldieBlox and the Parade Float

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought Parade Float for my 6 year old for her birthday. She loves constructing things so she had no trouble getting started. However, the pieces do not fit together well and falls apart after the float is constructed. She has brought out the set five times, and it has ended in great frustration all five times and she has gone back to her marble runs, Lego and other toys each time. An aunt bought her the Spinning machine, but it was also a big disappointment for the same reasons and the worst part was that the two sets could not be used together to create new things. I honestly could not recommend this to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome building possibilities! I bought this toy for my four year old daughter at Christmas. She plays with it a lot. She loves to build different vehicles that have rotating attachment features that twirl around the characters! She usually has a puppy pulling it by the nifty ribbon, harness style. We have watched some of the engineering in training videos on the GoldieBlox website, and those inspire my daughter create different models. I think this engineering toy is awesome! It allows my daughter to work with different concepts than LEGO, which she also loves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stupidest toy My daughter got this for her birthday. Though the box tries to market engineering concepts, the story is about a pageant (disappointing) and the pieces don't even stay fastened together (falls apart when pulled). Assembling the float is not challenging for a 5 year old. Overpriced for what you get. Lego is much more interesting and challenging. Do not buy this.
