Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and loads of play time This is a fun toy, my boys play with this and enjoy the time spent together

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just average My 4 year old was really excited to open and play with this toy. The feature we liked best was the minecart and pig character. The feature that we liked least was the pull back mechanism for shooting the cart. It was difficult for my son to use and failed to trigger the ghast attack on several occasions. It will attach to other Hot Wheels playsets but only certain types. The toy is fun in concept and perhaps older children would enjoy this more than my 4 year old (although I had some difficulty getting it to work as designed as well) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We Love Hotwheels! This track was easy to set up with great picture directions. All the pieces were there. The cart and rider were smaller than expected. Once the track was set up, it took awhile to figure out how to do the launcher just right so the cart would make it completely around the loop-de-loop. It can also be shot in a different direction - through the box. Other Hotwheels cars can go on the track and other tracks can hook up to make a longer track. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for little ones As a parent I would say this is "okay" but my little one (4 years old) loves it. Although the instructions are a bit confusing it only took me about 10 minutes max to assemble (with the help of my little one of course). He loved that you could move the launcher to either the track or towards the mouth. it was a bit hard to launch at first as the cart would not go through the full track (it would fall off at the loop), but once he got the hang of the launcher he had a lot of fun with it. My only concern is that it does contain small parts (the cart, the little figurine, and a rubber band) so care needs to be taken around smaller children and pets. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Minecraft Hot Wheels The toy definitely needs an adult to help put together the first time but once they saw how it was done they could likely put it together on their own. The zombie pig man needs to be put inside the cart in a very precise manner in order to make it through the purple nether portal. That was a source of much frustration at first until they figured out that he needed to be laying down inside the cart in order to clear the portal. The ghast worked as it should have and they all got a kick out of shooting the cart at him. The track was much more durable that I remember hot wheels being in the past and it didn't fall apart while they were playing. The track switcher worked well but the pull back to shoot the cart was difficult for my 4 year old. None of the older kiddos (6 and 8) had trouble with it once they were shown how to do it. Overall we like it and my kids have asked for more pieces! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 5yr old gives it a 2 thumbs up! Very easy to put together. Once the track was aligned and the figurine was centered in the cart, it launched and made it around the track with no problem. My 5yr old has a bit of a hard time pulling back the launcher though. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent!! This is a great toy. My kids love it and play with it often. They have a few hot wheels tracks already and this was a nice addition to their collection. Good durability and easy to put together and use. Be careful if you have small children as there are small pieces included. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from innovative track toy The Mincraft Hotwheels Ghast Attack is an original track toy. It was easy enough to put together and the three step play system is innovative and fun. My 3 and 4 year old do have a little trouble pulling the launch device back, but they manage. My youngest loves setting it up for the next round of play, and he does so easily. The included car does not always perform perfectly but my boys did not mind and did not get frustrated, they just laughed it off and tried again. This toy holds my children's attention, and is compact enough to travel with us. I would recommend this toy to friends. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of both worlds! Wow it took my 5 year old grandson 20 minutes to put this together. I was a bit nervous because there are no written directions just pictures but I think he enjoyed putting it together as much as playing. He loves minecraft toys and hot wheels and this toy is the best of both! It took him a couple of practice runs to get the minecraft vehicle up and all the way thru but once he got the hang of it he was all giggles! His 3 year old brother was also intrigued and wanted to have a turn as well. The rubber band pulley to shoot the car was safe and each run would vary as far as distance, speed and outcome so it held his interest for quite some time. The other great thing about this set is you can add additional hot wheel track to really extend the play time. Helps with coordination too! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Minecraft Ghast Attack My five year old grandson really enjoyed playing with the track set. First, he liked the fact that it was a Minecraft item. He does enjoy playing with track sets and his hot wheels. He did need some assistance putting the set together. The one problem that he experienced with this toy was that when he first began to launch the minecart, he would get his finger pinched. He has since figured out how to avoid this from happening. The other thought we had, was that the set could use a few more tracks. Overall, it was a hit. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such A Fun Toy! This is such a fun toy! My husband and son had a blast putting this together (although it is simple enough that I bet my son could put it together on his own now). My 4 year old's favorite part is hitting the ghast! He also loves the big loop! I would definitely recommend this toy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They LOVED it! - Let me just start by saying that I have 2 kids, ages 4 and 9. As any parent of multiples knows, it can be extremely difficult to find toys that appeal to all of them, especially with big age differences. This one however, kept BOTH of mine occupied and engaged (Score!). - I let my 9 year old open it and put it together. He said the directions were easy to read, and it took him maybe 10 minutes to finish (his 4 year old brother wanted to "help"). - The toy is very simple and easy to operate. You decide which track you want the Minecart to go on, aim the ramp, pull back the launcher and let it go. The only recommendation that I have, would be to add a larger loop onto the end of the launcher, as it can be a little tougher to pull back and lock into place. It is definitely not impossible to be able to do, however adding a larger loop to grip while pulling it back would add a little more ease, especially for little hands. Besides that, everything else is great! - Both of my kids' favorite part of the toy (besides the fact that it is Hot Wheels AND Minecraft :) is the loop, although the Minecart crashing into the ghast caused quite a bit of laughter as well. We also like how the Minecart is designed to keep the mini-figure in while it goes around the track. It looks like you can attach Hot Wheels tracks to the set as well, and it is also compatible with regular Hot Wheels cars. - This set is definitely something that I would purchase, for my own kids or as a gift. Two thumbs up from our family! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and Exciting! My four year old was beyond excited to receive this toy. He wanted me to put it together for him right away. It didn't take long to put together, under 8 minutes and I barely needed the directions. Once together my son played with this the entire evening. He doesn't know what Minecraft is but he still loved the toy. The track also worked with his other Hot Wheels cars. The only negative I see is that at four years of age (almost 4 1/2) he is not able to pull the trigger back in order to make the car speed up the track. I do need to help him, because of that I took one star off because he really needed parental help to play with it properly. However, it didn't bother him that he wasn't able to pull back the trigger without my help. He even moved the track from room to room and it stayed together. Overall a fun and exciting toy! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hours Of FUN! Our four older kiddos (ages 11, 9, 6, and 4) were super excited when the Minecraft Hot Wheels Ghast Attack Track Playset showed up on our doorstep. I handed the box over to the kids and our 9 year old read the instructions and assembled completely on his own in less than 10 minutes. Then, it was time to test it out. The kids spent hours launching the minecart around the track as well as into the Ghast. They absolutely loved when the head pops up! Such a fun feature! The track stays together well, which makes it easy to move. The kids love it so much that they've been taking it from room to room with them as well as out to the patio when we go outside to play. My favorite part of this set is the fact that the kids are able to use the included minecart as well as their Hotwheels cars so they have enjoyed testing out how different vehicles react on the launcher. Overall, super fun toy! Enthusiastic thumbs up all around our house! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Five year old car fun We received in the mail a couple of nights ago and have enjoyed each night after school. In fact, it has been so fun that we haven't turned on the TV. We have expanded from the minecraft car to other hotwheel cars and are having a blast. We love the loop and to knock over the minecraft head. This would be a toy we'd purchase for selves and for buddies birthdays. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hours of fun! All of my kids are excited to play with this toy! First off, the packaging and instructions couldn't have been easier! This is always a plus when your kids are excited to play and don't want to wait for assembly! We had it assembled and we're playing with it within a few minutes! As for play, everyone seemed to love it! To play you pull back the launcher to either the 1st or 2nd notch and launch the minecart through the loop to wake ghast up. The first time through his eyes turn red, the second time through the mouth opens, and then you turn the launcher towards ghast and launch the minecart trying to blast ghast! It's pretty fun! As far as cons, we didn't really notice any! We've played with the track on the carpet and on a table and it worked just fine. I will say, at first my 4yr olds did have a bit of trouble pulling back the launcher but then figured it out after a few turns. I wouldn't really consider this a con, it was just something they had to do a few times to figure out. Also, once you assemble ghast it isn't meant to come apart. All in all, my 4yr old boy/girl twins and 6yr old daughter love this toy! We've only had it a couple days, but it is constantly being played with! It's simple, sturdy, and keeps them interested! Also, I like that we can add onto it if we want or play with it as it is. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My four year old was really excited when he noticed a new Minecraft toy! He helped set it all up, and explored the characters he recognized from playing the game. It was easy to assemble and kept him busy playing for hours. The only downfall was that the launcher was a bit too hard for him to pull back the whole way. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun toy The track playset is a fun toy. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble the track. My son was excited to launch the minecart into the loop but we had trouble getting enough speed to do the whole loop at first. I figured it out that you need to do 2 notches to get more speed. First you launch the minecart twice thru the loop to get the ghast to open its eyes and mouth. Once the mouth opens, then you switch the launcher to aim at the mouth and make it pry open. My son was entertained for quite some time. You could also launch other hot wheels cars. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
