Presenting the LEGO® Architecture interpretation of one of the most iconic landmarks ever constructed – The Eiffel Tower! Designed and built by French entrepreneur, Gustave Eiffel, the original 324-meter-tall masterpiece of wrought iron engineering formed the grand entrance to the 1889 World’s Fair, held in Paris to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. During construction, the 18,038 wrought iron elements making up the tower’s lattice structure were bolted together at Eiffel’s factory on the outskirts of Paris, before being transported to the site, hoisted into place by steam-powered cranes operating from the elevator shafts, and assembled using no less than 2.5 million individual rivets. The resulting structure was extremely rigid and over the years has withstood storms, floods and everything else mother nature has thrown at it. Today, The Eiffel Tower is one of the world’s most popular landmarks, attracting millions of curious visitors from around the world each year. With this exceptional model, you can now build your very own 321-piece Eiffel Tower in LEGO brick form and display it in your home, office or wherever you like!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Bit Fiddly! I like this set a lot but it was a little fiddly and repetitive, hence only 4 stars. I would recommend it though because it does look great when it’s built.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fragile build Be sure you follow the instructions and not rush through the build. I had a few issues with that. lol One wrong piece in the wrong place and it will not fit together! And taking this one apart is not fun. Lots of little pieces. This build is fragile and you will want to press gently. This will go well with my other Architecture builds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fond memories of Paris! I have read a bunch of other reviews saying it's delicate, etc but it's LEGO people, and it's a delicate shape. It's not meant to be played with. It can move around a bit while building but I've got it positioned nicely now and it looks great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn’t stay together well I am more than capable of putting together a set of legos but this tower was ridiculous. It mostly stays in two pieces or stacks together, barely. The bottom legs are not designed well, since the pivot there is no way that to keep them straight and the way the single corner legos connect to the center part is horrible. The legos rub and you cannot place the legs correctly with out popping off the top tower. Not happy as it does not stay together well
Date published: 2018-02-26
Rated 2 out of 5 by from The structure captures the building. However the building itself is nearly impossible to center and thus easily looks out of place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for LEGO novice It is first LEGO in my life. I excited when I open the box. It was very easy to built. Just took around 1 hour to finish everything. Additionally, a book has really good explain about the Eiffel Tower. The color is different as the original Eiffel Tower, but I am very satisfied and I feel happy to have my first LEGO in my room!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing, but with limitations As always, Architecture has created a quality set. Though there is an issue. The first thing is that the way it's pieces are connected are very stressful, because they sometimes popped out of place, and hard to suggest. Just a note, if you wanted this set to be fun and to play with it, do not bother buying it as it's more of a model than a toy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite lego architecture so far thanks to the different lego pieces and building process, inherent to the eiffel tower format. Definitly respects the real Eiffel tower

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great landmark! Being my second Lego of this great Architecture collection, I enjoyed it very much. The instructions were clear and I was excited about building this amazing tower. The only areas I'd suggest to improve are the radio antenna (perhaps add an extra thinner antenna), the colour of the bricks (they are too grey whereas the real tower is made of puddling iron and not steel) and the cross sections to make it look more like the real one. Overall it was quite enjoyable, the four pillars, the iron platforms and the four arches are well made. It kept me busy for a while. Looking forward to my next set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful copy Bought 2 for my grandchildren. One loves Paris and all the buildings and the other made it as an anniversary gift to his parents. They got engaged at the top. It is tricky to build in places,so you must pay close attention to the detailed directions. It is a great piece that is well put together and detailed. We enjoyed building it together. Both children were happy with their result!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive... Was given this as an Xmas gift, and thought OK... Built it that evening and glad I did! My introduction to the Architecture range has been sparked, and I will be buying more when funds allow. Some clever engineering and the slightly twisted use of everyday elements has produced a model well worthy of display. I particularly liked the idea of the printed dual language title strips (The Eiffel Tower/La Tour Eiffel) which I arranged on either side of the base.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my favorite This was definitely not my favorite build. I was not pleased with the fact that the structure was not solid, but rather is set on rotating corners, making it hard to align so it's not leaning or turned/twisted. I also think there could have been a better option for the arches than the strange rubber pieces that were included. As I sit and look at the finished product, it does not please me as my other builds do; it looks crooked and just lacks the level of detail that I've come to expect from Lego. That being said, I'm proud to own any item from the architecture collection and will continue to invest in them. I loved the option for the name plates in English and French and chose to use both of them on opposing sides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set for decor I got this for my girlfriend for our anniversary. I had to drive to Seattle to get this, but it was worth it. It is beautiful set. She is not an expert, so it was bit of a challenge for her to build, but she loved building it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small, sweet Architecture set I bought this set over 2 years ago, and it's been part of my house's decoretion ever since, and it still attracts people's attention and looks very nice. The set doesn't take that long to build, but the experience is fun, and the result isn't disappointing. The build looks great from all sides, too, which is always a plus. In short, this is a great set to get started with LEGOs, and for this price, you can't miss it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from first lego architecture This was our first Lego Architecture build, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The quality of bricks is sensational, its robust and a pleasure to look at. We aim to get our hands on Falling Water one day and submit that. Well done lego

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely little build Since I started working in a toy shop i've been obsessed with lego but could never bring myself to spend lots of money on one set. When I discovered the Architecture theme I was so excited as I knew they'd make a great addition to the shelves in my room. I decided to get this one as my first Architecture set and it looks so cute!! Took me about an hour and was pretty simple to construct. I would say it's not the most stable thing at the end so be careful when moving it around as mine did fall apart but once it's put on display it looks lovely. It's a great size and looks really cool, will definitely be purchasing more architecture lego!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected I bought this for my 38 year old son for Christmas. He and his girlfriend took a trip to Paris last Summer. He was very pleased with it and we were both happy at the size of it. I bought him the Empire State Building a year ago, so thought it would be small like that one. It's very impressive when done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was my third Lego set (also my third from the Architecture line) and the most challenging of those I've built so far--also certainly the most interesting! Each stage of building was an adventure; aside from the base, I could never quite tell what I was working on till the end of a section. There's a large variety of pieces used for this one, many of which I'd never seen used--this was my first experience with the click-in ones, for example. It was always nicely revelatory to see how things came together (like realizing where the rubbery bits went); each stage was paced in a way where you could easily take breaks between sections, if you like. Occasionally I had some trouble clicking everything into place, but the model ended up feeling reliably sturdy--even with the built-in ability to shift and wiggle! It looks wonderful on the shelf! I initially thought the matte-looking grey might not display well, but it ends up looking very presentable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Eiffel Tower This is only my second Architecture build, the first being Big Ben, I was extremely pleased with this build! I expected it perhaps to be as thin and as small as Big Ben, but turned out to be completely the opposite. It's taller and 'chunkier'. You also have a choice of having the name plate in English or French, I personally put the English title at the front and French at the back. The model itself is nice to look at and the colour of it works too, in sense of 'play' it is clearly a model for display purposes as this theme is however, I guess it could be used as a background scene for a bigger set? (Picture shows Big Ben for size comparison)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice set This set was very high quality, the box, the base of the tower, etc, as expected by LEGO Architecture. It was also much larger than I expected it to be, and towers above my other Architecture themed sets. Fun to build, and designed very well using hinges. The play factor was weak, but it is meant to be, as it is a display model. Overall, I recommend this set, so if you are thinking about buying it, do it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great but a little pricey Looks really cool and is a great build, only downside is how much it costs knowing it has little playability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Set Though not as intricately detailed as the real Eiffel Tower (but who could expect it to be?), this set looks amazing. With a piece-to-price ratio of about $0.11/piece, this set is a great value for your money. Though not as difficult a build as other Architecture sets, younger children may still have some trouble assembling this. In summary, fun building, good price, and great assortment of different pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Neat Model tl;dr: Yes, get this set. It's not too big, and it's not too small, and it's not going to take your entire weekend to build. While the colour is obviously not exactly like the real thing, it's still a great set to look at. The construction is fairly modular - you'll be repeating many steps 4 or 8 times. Play wise, the set doesn't have any "fun" features (as expected) as it's really just a model. The packaging is superior to most other LEGO sets and included is a neat little instruction booklet that's properly bound (not stapled like most LEGO instruction books) and there is also detailed information about the history of the structure also. I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome display piece As my first lego project in years I thoroughly enjoyed building this and was extremely easy to build. Totally worth the price, will be perfect for my purposes and that is using this as somewhat of a display piece. Nice height in comparison to some of the other sets from this series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Model... Impractical Manual This was my first Lego Architecture set - but definitely not my last. A straight forward build resulting in a beauitful model to put on display. > PACKAGING & CONTENTS The outer packaging is the sleek Architecture branded black box. Inside, there's 321 pieces (a lot of small parts) packed into four bags and an information/instructions booklet. There's also three spare parts (at least I hope there was supposed to be three). It comes with two model specific flat tiles so you can display it with either the english "The Eiffel Tower" or the french "La tour Eiffel" nameplate. > STABILITY The final build is sturdy and stable so long you make sure to push all the pieces into right place properly as you go along. I can gently shake the model, pick it up, turn it upside down and it all stays in place nicely. > INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL / BOOKLET One issue I did have with the set is the instructions manual. I love print material and the booklet that comes with this set is a beautiful addition. The only problem is that you can't lay it out flat which makes it really difficult to use since you have to keep one hand on the booklet to hold it open while trying to build with the other hand. In the end I had to download the manual online and view it on the screen while building the model. The information and photos in the booklet are great, but as an instructions manual it's not really fit for purpose as much as it should be. Other than that I love this set. It's a simple build, but with some creative solutions. The final model is a good representation of the real thing and it looks great sitting on the desk. > RATING I assume most people use the "Play Experience" on reviews to find sets that have a good playability factor after the main build. Since this really isn't a set for playing with I've given it the lowest play rating. But if there was a "build experience" it would get top marks. I've knocked one brick off the overall rating due to the impractical instructions manual. I would recommend this set to anyone and I will be buying other Architecture sets. I just hope the instructions manuals are more practical in other sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful representation I loved completing this set last night. It reminded me of visiting Paris about 15 years ago. This was my first experience with the architecture series. I appreciated the historical facts and background. The directions were slightly more advanced than those of other sets allowing me to attach many pieces at once. I hope to buy other sets of places I have visited and then add as I see more landmarks. I also greatly appreciate that Lego is family owned, what a great enterprise!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fine decoration I would strongly recommend this as a first LEGO to anyone. It's very much fun to build, and I can recommend trying to build it without instructions. The inner parts are obviously impossible to figure out, but it was still great fun. The tower is a perfect present, as it can be kept as a decoration. It's not too big to fit anywhere, but large enough to be seen. If you've ever been to Paris, it could be a nice memento on your desk ;) The pages in the manual rip of easily however. So treat it with care. This was my first LEGO in 20 years, and it hooked me immediately. I'm now the proud owner of several sets and I dream of more :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good looking, but doesn't hold up Although the product is quite pretty, and fun to build, structurally it is not particularly sound. The area where the top half and bottom half are attached is designed in a way that the top half can not be properly attached, and can only sort of balance without any real support. Not only does this make the product look a bit off, it also makes it very fragile.
Date published: 2015-01-11
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of the more challenging Architecture sets that i have come across. The finished product is sturdy and eye catching. Definitely worth the money. You build it in three separate sections and the bottom and middle sections are a little difficult to connect. Now I just need a girlfriend to take to the restaurant on top! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This set is VERY highly recommended. I'm really impressed with how true to the real thing this model is, especially considering its size, and it relies entirely on traditional LEGO bricks rather than sets like the Space Needle, which I didn't like as much because of the (admittedly minor) complaint that a rod needed to be bent. Another point is that this looks very "finished" and solid when built. The flat pieces along the sides of the structural supports are a great touch. From a distance it's actually hard to tell that this is even a LEGO model instead of cast pewter or similar, and it's always a great conversation starter in my office. This would be a great first choice for anyone wanting to start building the Architecture sets, and a great addition to any experienced builder's collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice little set I purchased this Eiffel Tower because I love the Architecture series and I love the Eiffel tower itself. It was a great build and it was surprisingly tall. All of the metalic pieces that were included really made it look very nice. And as always the architecture instruction booklet was excellent full of facts and beautiful full colour pictures of the Eiffel Tower. I also loved how on some of the instruction pages was a little fact on the tower itself just like in the LEGO ideas Ghostbusters. This was my first LEGO architecture set and it sure does deliver! Great as a decorative item on your desk at work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lego Eiffel Tower So, at long last, Lego has made An Eiffel Tower. Will it live up to the expectations? We'll see. Part I- Build: I build this set in about 30 minutes. However, this was probably because of the fact that I was at the time on a brownie induced sugar rush. To the average Lego builder, I would say it would take 45 minutes, maybe more. The build has almost no technic and is worth the time. The tower is built in three parts: base, middle, and top Part II- Structure: The tower's base is very sturdy, and so are the separate sections. However, the three sections (base middle and top) don't go together very well. Every time I even touched it, the middle section would fall off, taking the top with it. The top fell off too, under any pressure. Overall: If you want something to play with, don't get this set. If you want something too display, though, this set is pretty impressive at a foot tall. However, just know you'll be putting it back together a lot. Score 7/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from French Wonder ... The Eiffel Tower This is the 6th model I have constructed from the Lego Architecture range. Sits on the usual base with striking black edging with the lovely choice of English or French worded nameplate. What I particularly loved about this one was the superb design, so cleverly put together. Probably one of my favourite models to build as the way it takes shape during construction really leaves you in awe when completed. Looks fantastic with the rest of my completed Architecture range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase The Eiffel Tower is amazing! I loved building it. Some parts though were a little annoying. It was annoying when I was trying to add some parts or adjust it, it would brake a little. Overall great purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the better ones This set for me, having all of the other Architecture series ones was by far one of the best. It's not something simple like the Empire State Building but not nearly as complex as the larger of the sets. The Eiffel Tower is a very good middle of the road set that uses some great building techniques to pay homage to a classic piece of engineering and architecture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from La tour Eiffel (Eiffel Tower) This is a good quality set in many ways. First off, I thought it was cool because they had an option if you want the nameplate in English or French. Second of all, it is much larger than the other architecture landmark sets. (1 ft) It is a repetitive build at times, and you spend some time at the end of the build trying to center the tower on the base. There are few special pieces (just nameplate and bendable rods for the arch towards the bottom) It was a bit more challenging than I thought it would be but still a fairly easy build. The price is fairly reasonable but, as all of the other architecture sets, a bit on the expensive side. I say just to buy it and give it a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not 10181, but..... ...its a very nice addition to the architecture series. The 10181 is the large Lego Eiffel Tower that was retired a while back. To me, it is the definitive Lego set. This newest Lego rendition of the Eiffel Tower is a nice, little architecture set. While it doesn't capture the design of the Eiffel Tower like 10181 does, its a lot more budget friendly and fits nicely in with the rest of the architecture series. The build is creative but not that challenging. If you pay attention, you wont have any problems with the stability of the towers lower level. I had serious doubts about this set before I built it. I was prepared to offer one of my sarcastic reviews. But, the actual build resulted in me having a much more positive attitude towards this product. I've seen the Eiffel Tower in person more than once. While the color of the set is a bit off, the final result is a nice, fun representation of the actual structure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Addition I recently purchased and built The Eiffel Tower product. I can say I am extremely pleased with the product. Fun to build and larger than the other landmark series products and I would recommend it to anyone who purchases products fromm this range. A fantastic addition that means I have purchased all the landmark series products that are available. Cant wait for the next landmark whatever it is, but Ido hope they release one soon as I love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bon chance! A gorgeous model made to really high-quality. The silver bricks give this a grown-up and attractive appearance when complete and it was a really fun build - quite tricky at points to get the parts to pivot symmetrically. The booklet was really interesting and filled with facts about the tower. My favorite thing? You can choose the label for your tower in English OR French. Magnifique!
