Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good While we like this set, it does seem a little more pricey compared to similar Lego sets when you consider the play value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Bane of my existence One of my favourite characters from the Lego Batman Movie and my least favourite set so far. Cons: Bane's legs don't move. This seems to be the case with all of teh over-sized minifigures and it irritates me. His arms move and that's about it. Only two minifigures adn the over-sized Bane. Bane's little bald buddy is not the coolest addition to a minifigure collection, and almost every set has Batman so you really aren't getting much for the price tag. Batman's little copter is cool but it doesn't want to stay together. We've mostly used the copter alongside the Scare-crow copter we got in the other set. It doesn't feel like it really belongs here. Bane's vehicle is fairly lazy in design. The Two-Face truck or Killer Croc truck are both more interesting. The have asymmetrical designs even for the stickers. Bane's stickers are all the same and it just feels lazy to me. The exploding thing fits on the truck, but only if Bane isn't on. Pros: Doug Benson's Bane is hilarious so I was excited to get Bane. I like that he's oversized, I just wish it did a little more. As I previously said, Batman's copter is pretty cool, it just doesn't stay together as well as I'd like. There is a little tank thing that sort of blows up and that's cool. It fits nice on the truck (unless Bane is on the truck, then it doesn't fit) I'm digging for positives a bit but I will say that the bullets for Bane's big gun are also pretty cool. They are more interesting then the bullets that usually come with guns for vehicles. Overall: It's a must buy if you feel the same way about Bane that I do. If you don't feel the same way I would start a Lego Batman Collection with one of the other available trucks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun well done We share a good moment me 34 and my son 5 building that set... He was 85% able to build everything on his own. Beautiful colour... Bane is big and well done... on the other hand my son played an hour before bedtime with it afterward... thx Lego for that set

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set, not so great price Wow, it's about time Lego made a Bane Big Fig, which they did with style. He is so cool with his backpack. I am glad that they made him awesome since some of the other badguys in this theme are not as good as in the origional DC theme. I like the whirly bat because it is in the Lego Batman 2 video game. The Bane truck is awesome with the suspension wheels and the turning 6 shooter. I like that Bane is on top and that there is space for another minifigure (Muntant leader is kinda lame in my opinion). And... another Batman minifigure. Overall awesome set.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Maybe pick another set. Unless you must have the Bane big-fig, I'd suggest choosing another set. I verymuch like the Bane big-fig and the Bane Bear graphic on the flag sticker. Pretty much everything else about the set is uninspired. The bane juice popper silo machine nests nicely onto the back of the larger vehicle, but it cuts awkwardly into the space meant for Bane to stand so they can't both be on the truck at the same time. I didn't find anything particularly interesting about the build, and didn't much care for the truck once built. It didn't even last a day before I scrapped it for parts and moved on. If you have to choose, I would recommend spending $10 more for the speedwagon Batmobile, which was an amazingly fun build, has better parts, and is more fun to play with.
