Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review 17: Batman's Batcave My son has been wanting this set ever since it was first released. This is LEGO's first Batcave since the very expensive Batman 1966 one. I believe that this one is a nice, cheaper version. The minifigures are very nice, I especially love Alfred and the Gold Batman. The Batcave has a lot of playability options, you can even change Batman into Brue Wayne. The Penguin's duck is a very creative vehicle as well and his minions look terrifyingly cute! One of LEGO's best sets ever definitely!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Epic I recommend you buy it because it’s a great build, and there are a lot of cool ways to play with it. But before you buy it you should know it is smaller than you think. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun I bought this as an impulse after buying and watching the LEGO Batman movie with my nieces. I’m a huge fan. Safe to say, building this was a lot of fun. There was plenty of distraction from the kiddos, but the instructions are so easy to follow, I quickly picked up where I left off. My favorite part is the spinning rack for the Batman outfits. It’s so great. It’s been about a month since I purchased it and I am lucky to say the bat cave is still in tact even after a 4-year-old and 1-year-old have played with it. It’s very solid and holds together so well. It’s been transported all over the house and hasn’t fallen apart. My only horror is it didn’t come with a robin. He deserved a spot on the set. But no worries. I’ve caved and ordered the Batman spaceship so I can have a robin. I’m really happy about this set. I hope there are more Batman sets in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Master Bruce... This is my review of the Batcave break-in. I’ll break it down into sections: The Vehicles- the vehicles are amazing. The Duckmobile is detailed phenomenally . The Batboat has a cool color scheme and nice cockpit windscreen. All in all, great vehicles. The Batcave-the Batcave is a huge structure, but not too big that it’s a pain to move around. The Batcomputer is awesome. The stickers on it are fairly easy to apply. The Bruce Wayne into Batman feature is fine. It turns very smoothly. The jail is cool. I would’ve wanted the front to break open instead of the back. The suit rack is phenomenal. I love that they gave us extra space for additional Batsuits. It’s great. The catwalk is okay. I wish thee was a ladder or something to get on and off it, but it’s fine. Overall, a great Batcave. The Minifigures- There are 4 figures in this set: Batman, Bruce Wayne, Alfred, and The Penguin. Batman is same old, same old. Alfred has a nice bald cap and coattails. Bruce Wayne has a nice tuxedo and a new bow tie mold. Penguin is fine. His torso is bland and his hat is fine. Great figures. Accessories- the accessories consist of 2 batarangs, Penguin’s umbrella, which is sooo cool, and Bruce’s wine glass. Penguins umbrella is the only unique one here. Good accessories. Well, that’s that! Thanks for reading my review and have a good week! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Batman fans This is a great set overall. The exclusive bat suits are the reason I wanted this set. It's fairly large, so playing isn't a problem. You can get into the little spots to pose the figures. Lots of stickers, but that's to be expected to keep the cost lower than it is. Overall a good get for anyone, kids, teens, young adults, and old adults.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to complain about this one Hard to find fault with this set without being super nit-picky. Biggest complaint is the lift from the computer to the boat doesn't stay up at the computer level. But that's a fairly minor complaint against a great set. Both the Batboat and Penguin's Quack Attack boat are great. L-O-V-E the oufit-go-round. Like the spinning wall where Bruce turns into Batman, but maybe I would have liked it better with a Wayne Manor room on top of it (?). I added Lobster Lovin Batman to this set and feel that really completed the set. The kids play with it all the time. Great set, highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Batcave This is a good batcave. The Alfred that it comes with is the best of all three. The penguin is a lttle weird, but his duck boat is awesome. Batboat is also cool with the hidden button for spring loaded shooters. Batcave itself is goo with the awesome rotating middle part, batcomputer with good stickers on it, jail with breakout function, suit chamber which is good if you have other bat suits to go with it, and the changing chamber which is a good idea and is still cool, but not as cool as the one from 2012. overall good set. Kinda hard to play on the rails that go around the entire thing, though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A lot of fun Really funny vehicles to build and the bat cave to setup a battle. You will need more bad guys to increase the playability. But who is buying this set, will for sure have more mini figures available to play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Greatest Bat-Man Set Yet!! If you are looking for a set that is challenging to build, comes with an AWESOME collection of Mini-Figs and play functions, and a set that is just amazing in detail, The LEGO Batcave Break In is the set for you! It comes with two vehicles, The Penguins tank and the Bat-boat. Each comes with several flick missiles that are EXTREMELY powerful, something you don't see in small LEGO cars such as these. The Bat-Cave itself is large but not too bulky. It is very well thought out. It has all of the iconic locations from the movie (Jail area, Costume area, Bat-Computer, and Transformation area) but not to big! I do wish that more mini figures had come with the costume area. But, if you have other Batman suits that you've collected you can add those in, in which I have already done also. Another reason to get this set is for the mini-figures. Bruce Wayne is a nice part to add to your collection (If you collect mini-figures like I do) Alfred Pennyworth is AWESOME! From his suit to his cool bald cap, this was a mini-figure I could not pass off. The Penguin & penguins were pretty neat. (Especially The Penguin's top hat!) And Batman, Same look but still cool. This is by far the greatest LEGO Batman set I have purchased yet. This is an absolute must have if you are an LEGO Builder, fan of the movie, LEGO Mini-figure collector, or all of the above!! You have not disappointed me LEGO, Thanks for all the hard work, I appreciate it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lol This set blew me out of the water! This gives you the 2 main minifigures, batman and the joker. This sets build is pretty decent as well. I like the bomb part of the set and mostly for me (I'm 13 years old) it was full of play. The main action feature, the flammable substance tank exploding, was a great usufull play feature and the brick build bomb was good too. Also the balloon part is awesome because it can stand by itself without having to hold it or placing it on a lego base plate. Overall the batman minifigure is always great with his physical utility belt mold which is sturdy and sticks onto the figure secularly and ready for play. The joker is always a great minifigure to have and the the Trent coat cloth piece that comes of his back is just a great addition to the figure as well. I really enjoyed and enjoy this set. Definitely a must have for a lego batman movie fan. And the price is reasonable too (for lego it is) great set for the figs and the bomb part. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features #pkumrewards. I'm so happy I bought this for my nephew for his birthday, he enjoys playing with it very much. Even his 2.5 year younger sister can't keep her hands off of it, but that could also be because it's not hers, and she just wants to mess with him a bit!! Great product

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small flaws in otherwise cool set This is a really cool set for LEGO play. Two water vehicles, and a Batcave make for awesome story reenactment. However it's not perfect. The jail is tucked away behind the Batsuit conveyor which hinders the access a bit. It also would have been nice to have the conveyor beside the place that Bruce Wayne changes his suit, rather on the opposite side of the set. The rack can be detached and moved which is good. An even better idea would be if all sections could be detached and rearranged in a custom layout. Another small gripe is with the platform that rises up from ground level to the Batcave. It is constantly falling down and does not stay up. It stayed up for the first week but now every time you lift it, it drifts back down and does not stay in place. I even replaced the friction pins, but that did not help, and it is small annoyance on a medium-large set. A connector that sticks at different degrees would have be a better choice. Overall, the Bat-computer, vehicles, and extra suits make this a very good set. I would recommend it with customized changes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To the batcave! When i picked up this set i thought i had low expectations for it but when i built the full thing it looked amazing the mini figures were detailed almost at every point, the vehicles were creative yet a tiny bit serious and the bat-cave was just phenomenal! the play features were fun but the main attraction was that amazing brick built bat-computer(besides the stickers ha-ha) i knew that was going to be the key build for me! but enough about the bat computer on to the play features the first one is a jail cell that have the walls in the back break off, the second play feature is a changing place for bruce wayne to turn into batman the last play feature on the batcave is a little elvator walkway for bruce wayne/batman. the vehicles also have small play features as well the "duck and cover" has flick fire missiles and stud shooters. "the riptide" has two flick fire missiles. well that about wraps up my review my final rating: 10/10 i hope everyone who reads this has a great week and feel free to check out my other reviews and bye for now!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Chunky. I love the new around the neck bowtie and collar pieces on the minifigs. I would expect the Batcave to be more functional, efficient, and slick. There are big chunky parts, like the batarang holders, that take up plenty of space but don't do much to add to the playablilty. I would have liked to see the bat computer on transparent light blue tiles with transparent stickers. The holding cell with bust out back is cliché. The twirl this axle to transform Bruce Wayne to Batman has also been done many times in other LEGO sets. I love the idea behind the conveyor belt wardrobe. I spent more than an hour enlarging it and motorizing it before incorporating/combining the best parts of this Batcave with the 2012 LEGO 6860 Batcave. For me, almost all the play value in this set was in the rebuilding, and not in the original design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set to integrate with the minifigs Two of my sons (ages 5 & 6.5) took turns building the BATCAVE Break-in over the span of a work week. It does not disappoint! Plenty of play features, and an excellent way to integrate your The Lego Batman Movie Minifigures into personal storylines. The Penguin's Duck and Cover vehicle is a joy to behold, as are his murderous mini-henchbirds. The bat boat is also super sturdy and impressive. The boys loved the bat computer and I found myself snickering at the screenshot of the pretzel. At time of writing, there were five days left until the movie opened, and we are counting down the days to see it. This set is a good investment for your Batman Lego fans, I recommend it as a good Lego family investment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure I'm not sure if the pricey is a good thing or a bad thing but it looks cool

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good value for the price. It looks great, the bat computer is really well put together. I think the batsuit conveyer belt is really cool, very good idea, with more space for extra bat suits to be added, I'll be putting some of the batman minifigs from the new collection in there until we possibly get some more released. The bat boat looks like something out of James Bond, very stylish, & Penguins duck is just brilliant, the only thing I would say about that is I was slightly disappointed that the propeller didn't go round as the wheels moved, a similar mechanism to that of Killer Crocs vehicle in the sewer smash set. The only other little minor point is I thought Lego would've done another little turning mechanism for the bridge that lowers down to the bat boat. My 4 year old son says he likes the mechanism that pops open the back of the jail, & the Bruce Wayne/Batman transformation section. As ever great detail on each minifig. Slightly disappointed that my Alfred as got some grey colouring that has transferred onto his bald head, as I've come to expect each Lego minifig to be near perfect so that was the only real disappointment for me, but overall I love the whole set, can't wait to get Arkham Asylum!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great additions to batcave As this is the 4th version lego batcave I now own, I have some pro's and cons. Pro's Finally a Batboat! Much anticipated! Better armoury to show off multiple Bat suits and gadgets . Cons As this is my 4th batcave I am a little disappointed there is still no T-Rex, Giant penny or oversized Joker playing card. The T-Rex is easy enough but the penny requires a lot of brown bricks and studs and would be a lot easier to build if I didnt have to source them from other sets, and the playong card is more just the decals... If there was an additional set with these items, I would be more than happy (super happy) I really liked the T-Rex build model from lego batman2 rather than a T-Rex fig from the jurassic/dino sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bat cave The batcave! This set is awesome, all the minifigures are great the weakest would probably be the Lego movie batman but he still is a great figure. The set includes Alfred, Bruce, different batman suits and penguin. My favorite would be Bruce or Alfred. The bat boat aka rip tide is a great sleek boat for batman and the peinguins duck mobile is also great it is a very wacky vehicle but it is still cool. The batcave its self is great the batcomputer is the best because of the consoles and all the stickers. Overall this set is deffinently worth the price.
