Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock And Roll With The Highway Pickup! I really thought that this was one of my best lego sets I ever bought! It had a ton of features and things to play with. The price wasn't too high, and the price wasn't to low. The features included the two light bricks, the trunk that opens and closes, and the small yellow truck. Building? No problem! It was easy. I didn't have any problems building all the models. The crane truck I really liked it but the two problems were that the two front wheels didn't go side to side they just went straight. and the other problem with the crane truck was that the doors didn't open. The car was also pretty cool, but the only thing I want was a bigger model. So for my overall rating I gave this product a five. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This set is mostly worth the money, but I must say that I was really disappointed with the unfinished look of the completed set. What I refer to with this, is mainly the hood, the flatbed and the lightbricks on the roof - there are way to many studful pieces left exposed! After all, the overall quality of the set could have been greatly improved by simply utilizing studless pieces on the hood, covering the lightbricks and adding a little detail to the flatbed! But these issues put aside it is truly a fine set, good price per piece and great visuals after you've modified the set to deal with the issues mentioned above. So summa summarum, the set offers an excellent value for money and good design, but lego, you could have left out the unfinished look...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This set is so awesome even our cat was intrigued! I am so happy with the finished product on this set and it was great to build. I really enjoyed building all the mechanisms for the truck and am impressed with its functionality. Took me about 3 hours to build working on it steady and was great fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME! My 6-yr-old says: "This is the awesomest set I own!!! I highly recommend getting this set. I think it is very cool that the steering turns pretty sharp, but I think the coolest feature is the light-up lights. You just have to push the button behind both light bricks and BOTH of them light up. And I also think it is very cool that the hood opens, and it has a very detailed engine with a propeller inside. For the yellow car: it has an opening hood, an engine inside, the back opens up, and it has opening doors. And it's very cool that you can make the rear view mirrors go down, to make it look like they got broken in a crash. Also, the truck is very very very detailed, and it's very cool that the pickup bed comes out." My 9-yr-old, who has built all 3 models, says: "This set has the most pieces of any set I've ever built. I love the fact that it has steering, and inside the cab it has a gear stick, a steering wheel that spins, and even a speedometer. You can fit TWO mini figures inside, and you can even make the seats recline. The extendable pickup bed is really awesome because you can tow the car on with the winch, and if you keep on turning the crank the pickup bed eventually goes back. The yellow car is pretty cool too, even though you can't fit any mini figures inside. For the crane truck, the light-up headlights are very awesome. Also, the rotating crane is cool. But the best part about the crane is that when you move something that's on the other side from the crank, the string goes all the way down and the thing it's carrying (a generator, I think) can load onto the truck. You can fit a mini figure inside, but instead of a seat, there's a bench a bit to the side of the steering wheel (and everyone knows that mini figures can't move their arms to the side, so the driver can't hold the steering wheel). The sports car is also really cool. I like the way that you can control the steering by the steering wheel. Also, the steering turns sharper than the steering for the main model. The coolest thing about the sports cars is the light-up exhaust triggered by the gear stick. All you have to do is push the gear stick forwards, and it looks as if fire's coming out of the exhaust pipes. Also, if you take your hand off the gear stick, the exhaust pipes stay lit up. The sports car can also fit two mini figures, but you can't really fit a driver in the driver's seat without making him stand up because the steering wheel is a bit too big."
