Rated 4 out of 5 by from Absolutely fantastic! I am a 35 year old married woman without children, so I'd say that I am probably not the target market for this toy. However, I am a huge Muppet and Jim Henson fan. I am also an artist and generally creative person, so this make your own puppet is right up my alley. When I first opened the gift, I thought it was something that was pasted or sewn together. When I realized that this was a velcro kit, I loved it even more. It can be changed around or kept the same for long periods. My nieces and newphews were visiting when I received this gift, so I was able to play with it with children and they absolutely loved it. They got such a kick out of pulling off limbs while the monster would get upset about it. Or the monster asking where did everyone go when they took away his eyes. I highly recommend this for creativity, ease of use, imagination building, and just plain fun. The only thing I could possibly suggest is to make add on packs or additional colors, but that's really just extras.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun for everyone My 3 year old daughter loves this puppet. Even mommy and daddy enjoy coming up with new monster combinations. This is a good quality toy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Having monstrous amounts of fun My son can't get enough of puppet play. So how great is it that he can now help create his own monster puppet design? We just bought this for my son for Christmas and I cannot wait for him to play with it! Melissa and Doug puppets are durable, creative, and help encourage the imagination.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best Toy yet! I don't know why I hadn't bought this toy way before now. My 6 year old hasn't put it down! We have lots of toys, and not one has brought more fun and creative play for all who enter in this house. For ages 0-80! We have had so much laughter with this puppet! For both boys and girls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from His own Muppet! My 2 1/2 year old son is into the Muppet Show so when I saw this, I thought our family would get a kick out of it. He loves it! He and his Dad love to play with puppets together but Elmo and bears don't have anything on the voices they make up using this puppet. It's also calmed his concern about monsters to be able to play with this one and laugh.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as much fun as I thought it would be My grand-children love puppets and have many of those made by Melissa and Doug. When I saw this set I thought it would be a good one to keep in my toy closet for their visits. I even bought two so more than one child could play at a time. Unfortunately, the "monsters" just are not very cute. The Velcro does not always hold the item where it was placed and it falls off quickly. This causes the kids to loose interest quickly. There are many small pieces to loose, and the colors are a little too eye-popping. There are so many great other puppets, I would recommend getting them instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Never would have thought this would be so popular. Both my kids (now 3 & 5) still play with this toy two years after receiving it as a gift. Plan to give it to others.
