Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok I like that under each letter there is an object that begins with the letter sound. I do not like that the puzzle pieces are not shaped like the letters. Therefore, putting them back into the correct spot is a guessing game until they are older.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun tool to help learn alphabet I intend to use this board to teach & "test" how well my toddler knows his alphabet. I have tried to play with him using the board, but I think he is still a lil too young. Will keep trying!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy this again, it's a favorite. My 2.5 yr old loves this puzzle. It is bright, colorful and attractive. Behind each letter of the alphabet is a picture of something that starts with that letter. This is great for one on one time, especially when they are on the younger side. I do wish they could have made the entire puzzle a little bigger with more white between each letter. It can be confusing when they are looking for a certain picture but can't distinguish the individual pictures from the whole puzzle being one big picture. That can be worked through with repetitive and close supervision. Now he has memorized many of the letter/picture combos and can put about half the puzzle together without any help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great puzzle Perfect for fine motor skill and learning the letters. My two year old son does this puzzle at least once a day. An we practice the alphabet in French and English.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficult The letter pegs don't match the picture underneath, so for younger kids, it isn't a matter of matching but knowing what the picture underneath actually is, then being able to sound it out to figure out what letter belongs there. Hard to grasp for younger kids.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was disappointed with this puzzle. We have many other puzzles and love them. I was displeased with the letter pieces that are NOT the actual letter shape. For example, the N is a square shape, not the shape of an N. This results in some letters being able to fit in other letters spots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 18 mth old LOVES this!! I purchased the M&D Puzzle Rack because my 18 mth old son has several of their puzzles and plays with them daily. I was excited to see 3 new puzzles were included, and this Alphabet Puzzle was one of them (it was on my list to get ;-))! He quickly masterd the first 2 in minutes, but had a hard time with this one, at first. He diligently worked on it, and within a few days, he successfully mastered it! My husband said, "well, now it's time to purchase another puzzle that's just alittle harder than this one"! So, off to get another M&D puzzle to add to the rack! Thank you M&D for providing fun, educational toys that we, parents, can consistently rely on. Your toys help us guide our children to reach their highest potential.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ABC Amazing! Our son is 7 now, but from the age of 2 to 4 this puzzle was one of his favorites! It provided hours of fun and would keep his attention for 20 minutes at a time. Because it's so durable, we just got it back out for our 20 month old, and I have no doubt that it will become one of her favorites as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 16 month old loves this puzzle! My 16 month old LOVES this puzzle. She knows where all the letters go and can put them all in place in under a minute. It took her a couple of weeks to figure it out and she loves it now. When I bought the puzzle my mother in law told me it was too challenging and I am so glad I did not listen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A big hit My 21 month old loves this. She does not put the letters where they are supposed to go yet, but she loves looking at all the pictures and reciting what is painted under each letter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this again and again. I purchased an alaphabet peg puzzle before I saw this one. The other alaphabet puzzle had the peg obscuring the letter. I saw this one and liked how you can actually see the letter, and that the peg was not obscuring my child from seeing it. Thank you very much Melissa and Doug.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great puzzle Love this puzzle! My two year old can complete it quickly now after many practices. My only complaint is that the 'M' and the 'W' are both blue. Slightly confusing for her. Great otherwise.
