Rated 2 out of 5 by from A real shame it doesn't plug in I love this little clock and so does my daughter, who we bought it for. It seemed to work for us and was very cute so it kept my daughter's interest. My big problem with it is that it doesn't plug in! We were changing the batteries at least every 2 weeks if not more. Eventually we gave up on it because we were going through way too many batteries. A real shame because we would still be using it if it weren't for that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost good... but too many flaws I debated about getting this product because of all the variations of wake-up clocks out there, there weren't any that were "perfect". I thought my son would like this one best though. Unfortunately, this one just misses the mark on too many things and ended up being a disappointment. The control panel is easy for my older two children to open, and my son (2.5) tries to open it as well though I don't know if he's succeeded yet. It's only a matter of time. When "buggie" turns green in the mornings, my son is super happy... but then he pushes the button on the toe that turns off the light and when he pushes it again, it is right away back to yellow. His reaction is "oh no!". I wish it stayed green for the 30 minutes (or whatever you set it for) regardless of pushing the toe buttons. I like that it turns off to conserve battery power... BUT, it means that when my son wakes up in the middle of the night or too early in the morning, he can't see "buggie" in the dark. It would be better if the faceplate was glow-in-the-dark or something so at least he knows where to look when he has woken up but isn't quite 'awake'. I think he'd like it better as a nightlight too. All in all... we're going to try a different one because the functionality of this one just isn't quite there. It's close, but with the flaws it has there have been too many mornings where my son ends up confused or frustrated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Daughter can access parent controls We have had the clock for nearly a year now. When my daughter turned 2, we bought it to remind her to stay in bed until 6am. It worked well and she was excited to run in and tell us about the green light.  She quickly learned how to open the parental controls when she was only 26 months old. She would press all of the buttons and often change the light signal to a buzzing alarm. Which meant she would wake up at 6am even if she was still sleeping soundly.  She has also managed to break the battery cover so it is now duct taped on.  I like the function of the clock but I would try another brand next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! I bought this clock to stop my son (4) from waking up in the middle of the night and coming in to my room (in turn waking me!). I was very skeptical, but at this point I was ready to try anything! From the first night, it has worked like a charm. No more pitter patter of little feet at 3am. He gets so excited that the clock is green that he runs into my room (at the time I have preset) and tells me. We are both getting a better night's sleep, which makes my household a lot happier. The first few nights he played with the buttons on the front, but the novelty wore off. Now he just uses it as an occasional night light and for waking. I like that it is also a clock and alarm clock. I feel that, unlike similar higher priced devices, it will continue to be used beyond the "OK to Wake!" years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The idea is great... Love the idea of this clock. My son loves to wait for his clock to turn green (and often hollers to me out of his room that it is, in fact, green). In that respect, it's great. However, they really fell flat in making this a battery operated clock (you CANNOT plug it in). Because the clock also lights up when you press the buttons on the feet, most toddlers will be inticed to press them over and over again. Between that, and the actual "ok to wake" light, the batteries drain quickly, and you'll find yourself replacing them and resetting everything (the time, alarm time, amount of time the clock stays lit, etc) on a regular basis. Another minor complaint is that the nightlight feature can only stay lit for 2 hours maximum. It would be nice if there was an option for it to glow all night.
