Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, quick fun My daughter enjoys this game. Don't expect them to play it for long though. It's a quick game and after a few rounds, my daughter and her friends want to move onto something else. It's a good introduction to board games and winning and losing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Preschool Perfection! What's not to love about this game? Each player gets a raccoon card with a three dimensional and adorable face. You get to roll the dice to determine what color and what item of clothing your raccoon gets to wear. If you get tops and bottoms, you take 2 cards. If you get the underpants (this made my three year old crack up) you have to give up all of your raccoon's outfits and start again. The first person to get 5 outfit cards wins. My daughter and I had so much fun playing this. The game allows for some color practice, counting, hands-on activity, and a lot of discussion. One of her favorite things to do was to guess the job that each raccoon had according to his/her outfit. There are lifeguards, astronauts, artists, and so much more. I love this game, and appreciate how compact and sturdy it is as well. I will definitely be buying this as a Christmas gift this year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great introductory game for kids! Our 3-year old son loves this game! It helps him with directions and rules, and he identifies what the dice are telling him to do with each roll. He loves picking out the different options available with each color, and will sometimes act out the raccoon character accordingly. We remind him to count his cards to see which player is closest to winning. He also loves when the die rolls to the underwear, and finds it hilarious. He anticipates it and asks if it's going to be the underwear again. It's a fun and quick family game to play, and allows us to laugh and bond together while finishing the game at the same time. He's always asking us to play this game with him - a great one for young toddlers!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game for a a Preschooler! This is a great basic game for a 3-4 year old Preschooler. It might be too basic for any age beyond that. There are 2 versions of playing the game: one where you roll a color and article of clothing die and have to find a card with that. The other version is a memory type of game where you keep the clothing cards face down, roll just the color dice and have to match just the color to one of the clothing cards, trying to remember where the card you need is. It is a cute, simple game where the graphics do keep my child interested. This game helps with color recognition, naming of articles of clothing, learning to take turns and recalling the location of the cards you need. My 3.5 year old had fun playing this game! I would definitely recommend this game for a Preschooler!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and educational game I have four kids, ages 2 through 8. All of them loved this game. The two year old liked the colorful pictures and 3D raccoons. My four year old took pride in knowing he could play this with his older siblings, because he knew his colors. My 6 and 8 year olds were not bored with this game at all. I appreciated that it can be played by all my children. The colorful pictures and goofy-ness of the raccoons made it super fun. We also loved that there were two games in one box! Another awesome plus--moms and kids can easily come up with their own variations of how to play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A game all my girls can play together! I am a mother of an older 2 yr old, 5 yr old and 7 yr。old girls. The construction of the games is so cute. The box is compact and I love how the instructions are on the box and very simple to read. My girls were so excited to play the game when we got it that I had my 7 yr old read the instructions and start to play the game while I finished washing the dishes. Yes, it is that simple that she could read it and explain it to her 5 and 2 yr old sister. So each player up to four receives an adorable raccoon card. We placed the 20 costume cards on the table. Then the youngest player goes first. I loved how the dice were oversized which made my 2 yr old able to handle them with ease. There are two dice. The color dice has: blue, red, purple, yellow, green, and rainbow. The clothing dice has two sides with pants,2 sides with shirts, underwear, and a top and bottom side. So when you roll the dice you get a color like yellow and a piece of clothing like shirt. So you find the card that has a raccoon with a yellow shirt. The only different dice rolls are: underwear in which you lose all your cards, or rainbow which means you can pick any color, or a shirt and pant which means you get to pick two cards with whatever color dice you roll. Whoever gets 5 cards the first wins. I love how my three girls could play this game together. I saw it more educational for my two year old as I saw her just matching the color dice but not paying attention to the shirt or pants. I quickly taught her how to look carefully for a shirt top or pant bottom. This was a cute simple game the girls enjoyed playing. They all laughed when someone rolled underwear and lost their cards. I was afraid one of my girls might have a meltdown in losing all the cards but the underwear makes it more fun. For entertainment value I would give it a 5 star. The educational value is really geared for 3 yr olds who may not know their colors, articles of clothing, and counting to five. There is not much new information for older kids to learn. I would say the memory part of the game would be more for the older girls. It's a little easier than memory because you just need to find two cards with the color you rolled on the dice. I was given this game in exchange for a review. These are my own opinions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great game for young children! This is a perfect game for my 2 year old! Finally a game she can play with the whole family! She is learning colors and this is a fun game to reinforce what she already knows. Her 4 year old brother is very into it as well. The idea of dressing up the raccoon is fun and it's a great game for pre-schoolers and up. The playing cards are adorable and very well made. A great game for families with young children!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute game! This is a great product if you're introducing your child to their first game with rules and players. My daughter just turned 3 and she loved it! It's great for learning colors and counting. The rules are easy to follow and the game pieces are well made and very cute! I like that it can also be turned into a matching game, which gives it variety.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Raccoon Rumpus My first impressions: *Game comes in a sturdy box, which is great since it can be hard for my 3 year old to be gentle with toys *The game cards and raccoons were colorful and enticing to my son! While playing: *We first played the original directions of this game. My son liked it, but did not love it. *It is great for color recognition! *It is great for non-readers... easy directions and easy for toddlers to know what to do without having to be told on each roll. *It was very funny when someone rolled "underwear" and my son thought that was hilarious! *It was a quick play, which was great for a toddler's attention span. My husband and I were not totally impressed by the original rules, so we played the challenge way next. *My son is great at memory and we liked this version MUCH better! *It was definitely more challenging because you had to pay attention to where the cards were placed. *I'd recommend taking away 5 cards or so, as all 20 is a lot to remember for a 3 year old. *I liked how you didn't know who won until all the cards were left! Players had to count their cards, which added another skill into the game, to see who had the most. All and all, this was a cute game. I gave it a 3 because we didn't love the original directions. I wouldn't say it was boring, it just wasn't engaging enough for my son. As all the games made by this company, it is well made and will certainly last awhile!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun way to learn colors! This is a fun and simple little game to learn colors. Not too many pieces and the parts of the game seem sturdy and fun to look at. My daughter who just turned 2 was able to play this game with some help but she still loved it, especially when she picked the right colored clothes. Then after we played she sat there for another 5 minutes or so just putting the clothes on and off the racoons. I received this toy from Educational Insights in exchange for my honest review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and engaging! My 5 and 3 year olds love this game! It reinforces colors, counting (1-5 costumes), and job titles of the costumes. Plus, they find it hilarious that at the roll of "underwear", the raccoons lose their costumes. :) It was fun for everyone and easy to understand for the 3 yr old to follow along.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clever game in clever packaging Love the packaging - not too big and fits all the items nicely. The graphics on the dice and cards are really nice and colorful. My son loved that there were different shapes and options and it was hands-on. For example rolling the dice, placing cards on top of raccoons. Also this gives you the opportunity to play together especially since I'm a working Mom so this allows you to have quality playtime together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We had a blast! I received this game and am so pleased with how much fun my children had. I am an in home daycare provider and have children of all ages and my 2.5 year old, 3 year old, and 4 year old had a blast. They loved that the raccoon's outfit were occupation themed (I loved that too) and they were learning while having fun (a must for me!). It's a simple game but because it is simple, it is something that can carried around to restaurants, doctor's offices, etc. and can be played anywhere. I love that this is portable and the children don't get bored of playing either. Will definitely recommend this to friends and buy a few for gifts! Thanks Educational Insight for a home run game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Funny, cute, and educational game for 2-4 year olds I played this game with my 3 and 5-year old and this game was very easy to follow and understand. As a parent and an educator, it was great in terms of teaching my kids colors, clothing and different occupations, while working on turn-taking skills. The packaging is cute and the raccoon and the different costumes made my kids laugh. A very cute concept!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dress up, matching, and more! My 4 year old daughter loves this game, and she has had it for a year and a half. She's very into dress up and so sometimes just likes to play independently with the characters and outfits. Othertimes we play by the rules or the fun variations! Great game!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for We are a board game family (settlers of catan, etc.) and thus far our 3yo has been left out because of his age. He and his older siblings love playing together. I rarely get to play more than one round before I'm replaced by the other kids. I believe he stays engaged for longer because the older kids (6&8) love it also. I was impressed by the quality and believe it is perfect for an average user. My family is very hard on toys, however and I would have liked to see sturdier costume cards. I would be happy with the option to purchase a replacement deck in the future, though. Overall, surpassed my expectations. I am especially impressed with the memory game option and look forward to playing right through grade 1.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Underpants can Change the Game I had this game wrapped in special paper under the Christmas tree and let my grandkids, girl-age 6 and boy-age 3 1/2 open it a day early. We so enjoyed playing it and both kids found it easy to understand yet not boring. We all laughed when someone got the underwear and there were no tears or upset when it happened. I would very highly recommend this game for youngsters. It's durable, easy to pack up and transport, too. I am a retired elementary teacher who has taught for 39 years and I would have used it in my kindergarten class if I had known about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot of laughs! What a lovely idea! A little young for my child but perfect for kindergarteners/ first graders I suppose - we even turned the cards over and played it memory-style - two games in one. Works on colour recognition via dressing up the cute raccoon in five silly costumes. The kids get so engrossed, rules are simple and pieces easy to handle. Besides, its a lots of laughs when they roll the 'underpants' - extremely entertaining - my son clearly did not want the raccoon (who he assumed to be a boy) to dress like a ballerina...must take him to see Billy Elliot. Highly recommend the game though, great for kids from 2-6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be more Perfect for Preschool! I received this to review and Raccoon Rumpus couldn't be more perfect for preschoolers! I HIGHLY recommend this adorable little game - and it's a great price! The cards are very sturdy. Kids do not need to know how to read to play this game and the directions are very simple to follow.
