Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is such a great game! I was provided this product for a third party, honest review. Well, easy enough -- this is a fantastic game. My 10 year old daughter and I played for hours last night. Because of the nature of the game, she is actually better and could feel it. Her young mind could figure out shapes that wouldn't come to me. And she knew it and was emboldened by it. Great game!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game for the family! Challenges your creativity and makes you think out of the box! We solved a few of the easier cards so quickly we decided to use the timer on our iPhone to make the game go even faster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Game for your Classroom We have used this game in my 2nd grade classroom and my students go crazy for it! They love it because it's hands-on, is challenging, yet fun, and is something new and different. The pieces are durable and work for even the smallest hands. I even tried out this game at home and it was a big hit with adults in my household. Your students won't be disappointed with this game! Get yours now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brain teaser that's fun! My kids, age 12 and 10 had a lot of fun playing this game. Kept them laughing and having fun together vs. fighting with each other - a bonus! The cards were challenging and kept them engaged. Great for practicing spacial relations. While most games favor a player with age or experience, this one gives everyone a fair shot. My kids were beating me most of the time! Another nice thing about it is that this isn't a game where you have to strictly follow the rules. You can make up your own rules, which allows kids to be creative, while allowing them to practice social and leadership skills in developing the rules and getting them adopted by the other players. You can play it by yourself or with other people, though it was more fun when my kids played it together. It's also easy to transport - we will surely take this on our next vacation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this again and do recommend!! our family had a great time challenging each other and trying to create the shapes. It has been fun to sit together playing this, watching each other try and create the shapes, and laughing a lot. great family activity. much better for our 2nd grader than our 1st grader, but still fun. sometimes one or two of us play, or the whole family plays together. definitely a fun and educational game that makes you think!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my new go to gift! I LOVE this game. It is easy to use, requires almost no set up, is fun, educational, and imaginative. We can not put it down. You do not need to know how to read to play this game so it is fun for everyone. There are certainly some shapes that are harder than others and it better suited for kids aged 6 and older, but even really little ones will have fun bending the sticks and making up their own shapes. It is a great game for friends both young and old. It can be packed up into a Baggie and is great for the car. I almost wish there was a travel case. Beware the game is addictive!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and Challenging What a fun challenge! An entertaining and interactive spatial reasoning game that is great for middle schoolers on up through adults. The clues range from easy to more difficult, and my family and I did struggle with more than a few! My four and seven year olds enjoy playing with the Riddlecubes and clue cards just to see if they can make the shapes or just using their imagination. My 12 year old nephew enjoyed the challenges and beating the adults in solving the puzzles. It comes in a durable, compact box that is easy to take on the road. The Riddlecubes themselves seem to be made of high quality materials able to withstand the stretching, pulling, and twisting this game requires. As an educator, I could see having this game available to my middle-school and high school students for free time fun. This game would even be an amusing "bar puzzle" for adult players!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good job! I've found my new go-to birthday gift! RiddleCube is a great game, the kind you can easily pick up for a few minutes or an hour, on your own or with a group, whether you want to keep score or just do a few rounds for fun. My 9-year-old was immediately attracted to its tactile nature, and my 4-year-old loved inventing her own versions of the shapes we were attempting. We moved quickly through the easy cards, and had a lot of fun trying to convince each other that our designs fit the written criteria for the more difficult cards! It was good to emphasize that the strings are considered "invisible" for some designs, or they would have been frustrating. We didn't want to put the riddle cubes down between rounds; when I played with friends, we ended up fiddling with them while we chatted - several of us found it quite therapeutic! I think we'll be donating this game to my son's class - his teacher will like the spatial reasoning it promotes, and his friends will enjoy competing and manipulating these addictive little cubes! Lastly, I like that you included the inventor, Howard Fleischer, on the packaging - good job, Educational Insights!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fascinating Game The RiddleCube is an awesome game. You manipulate sticks that are attached together with a stretchy cord to replicate either the picture or words on the game cards. There's also a minute sand time to put a little bit of time pressure (For most of the cards, we didn't need it), but it's also helpful when you get stumped, to move on. My 8 year old daughter loved learning new shapes very quickly. She was faster than I was on the easier (light blue) cards. The darker blue cards were harder, but doable. There are two types of cards to choose from: word cards (you use your imagination more) and picture cards (have to create the shape on the card), which mixes up the game a little bit more. There are a lot more darker blue cards than light blue cards. You could also just use the riddle cubes to fiddle around with on your own. It's a compact game that doesn't take up too much space. You need to keep the box that it comes in so that it hide the pictures/words when you're playing, as the cards are double sided. Pros- easy to understand and play without reading too many directions. Short playing time for moments when you have a little bit of time, but not enough for a longer board game. Cons- I personally wanted an answer sheet, but it's not necessary. The cord is a bit tight to get some of the shapes perfectly, but it didn't really matter as you can understand what the other person is trying to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great thinking toy! We love this toy. It makes you think outside the box and be Analytical. So few good toys out there that don't require batteries. Bonus for parents : it's quiet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is so cool, my kids took it to school every day! The picture doesn't show the full game (which has 4 cubes) so I was really pleased when it arrived because you get a lot for your money. Great to play with, fun to learn with, LOVE IT!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from engaging for all ages!! Directions were easy to read and the packaging was neat and very organized. We had fun trying to figure out all of the word challenges! Sometimes it was subjective as to who won the actual challenge because not everyone agreed if the object looked like it was supposed to. The cards/challenges with the pictures were not subjective and the winner of the challenge was more definite. For all ages, this game is engaging and a wonderful way to bring families and friends together!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These nifty cubes totally rock! Hours of fun - especially if you like to create and find solutions visually, like my son does. An extra layer of fun gets added when you are racing against time to do that - imagination works just as fast as the puzzles or riddles do - you can beat the clock by changing, twisting, stretching, playing with the cubes till you get what you desired and collect all 5 challenge cards to be the first to win! Full of laughs for the family hour and loads of fun given some shapes don't end up looking remotely like they should - can't beat the fun and the challenges are plenty, won't run out, however much you play. Loved the game, edgy, creative and very fast paced for our 8 year old and us (in our thirties)! Great for travel too, size wise, though we haven't taken it camping yet - we will soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It!!! I was really impressed by the riddlcube for a few different reasons.... 1.Riddlecube is super compact, which is great for summer. throw it in a beach bag, backseat of the car, or bring it along for a camping trip. Wont take up much space but will guarantee a good time! 2. adults and kids love it!. I am a nanny for 2 kids , 8 and 10 who absolutely love the riddlecube! I can also bring it home to friends and family who get a kick out of it too! a little competition always gets everybody energized and ready to take the challenge. 3. you can play again and again. Riddlecube can form into so many different shapes and puzzles, the playtime is endless. Even when you think you completed a lot of shapes...there is so much more!. Overall, I had a great experience with the Riddlecube and would recommended to anybody looking for a good game for summer, or anytime!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful challenging game for everyone My children and their friends love this game as well as the adults. They have spent many hours working on the game and challenging each other. It is a great game to help the little ones work on manual dexterity and the older kids to think outside of the box. I have recommended this game to all my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Riddlecube! Awesome brain-game that will leave you exited and stumped as you move from one puzzle to the next! I played Riddlecube with a group of about 5-6 friends all in their late 20's. What's really cool about Riddlecube is you don't only have to play according to instructions. My friends and I simply challenged each other as to who can complete all the puzzles. All with a Riddlecube in hand, we attempted to complete as many different cube combinations as possible. The harder puzzles proved to be a fun and challenging group activity as each person tried their best to complete the puzzle before somebody else did! Overall, it was a fun activity which kept us puzzled, engaged, and exited as we challenged our minds and each other! Great game for travel, camp, party's and more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Boredom Buster My 8 yr old son and I really enjoy playing RiddleCube The Game together. We found it challenging, but lots of fun! As an only child, it's also a great game for him to play on his own too. He loves building and creating so this game is wonderful outlet for that. We did find that the easier game cards are best for now as we work towards the the more difficult ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great alternative to board games My five year old son and I enjoyed playing RiddleCube. There are two sets of cards to choose from, one is easier and the other is more challenging. We had a blast moving, bending, and twisting the shape shifters into whatever was asked on the cards. Sometimes the string seemed too tight to get the tubes exactly how we needed them, but overall this was a creative, fun game to spend some time together playing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Challenging, but fun! This was a pretty challenging game, but it was also a lot of fun. I played with my husband and our 8 year old daughter. The younger kids wanted to play, but it was a bit too difficult for them (good age ratings on this one). The double-sided cards are great because one side has somewhat easier "challenges". I'm not sure anyone ever really won, but we had fun trying. It was a blast trying to figure out how to turn the "cube" into the description on the card! This is a great game for when you want something a bit different than board games. I received this game for free in exchange for an honest review.
