Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVED THIS! ARGH! I loved this book so much! I thought that no book could be better than ACOMAF, but this book certainly took the top spot! Any book by Sarah J Maas is good, but this one was amazing! Definitely read this if you haven't already!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MY FAVOURITE BOOK EVER I've read so many fantasy books and this one blows the rest out of the water. The author creates a world I wand to live in, characters I love, and a plot that never ceased to amaze. I was not bored for one minute and read this book in one day, and then read it again the next day, and again the next. This book is incredible--the writing style is without compare. Even better than Six of Crow's and every other YA book.Ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED IT! Of course I loved it! However i feel like the book had too much happening, a lot of action. Which by all means it is great but I would have extended it a little bit more. I cried of course! And I cannot wait for ACOFAS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Loved this book, but then again I love Sarah J. Maas and her writing. I'm super pumped for her to come out with the next one "A Cout of Frost and Starlight" I'm excited to see the other characters points of view and see how the story continues. I also like the fact that we're seeing how things arent always a happily ever after in stories. #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, as always. This whole series has easily become one of my favourites. I recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy, romance, and action. I was introduced to fantasy by this series, pushed into it and now I can't seem to get out. I love it. Excited for the next release!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it again! I absolutely loved this entire series! Yes, some reviews point out that the books contain a lot of things that are wrong with our society but the matter of the fact is, I ENJOYED READING IT! So what if a few things send mix signals, the novels are fiction and are not meant to be read as a self-help book. This book was spectacular! the writing, the characters, the thrills that it gave were not something i found to be upsetting, i love it, every last word in this book had me completely captivated and off in my own little world. I loved it so much that i finished it in 2 days because I never wanted to put it down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An epic ending for an epic series The conclusion to this trilogy is amazing, it has everything; epicness, romance, bittersweetness... You hav eto read it, period.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What an Ending Not much to say, it was a good ending, Really enjoyed it. I was happy (for the most part) with how everything ended. I'm glad that Sarah J Maas is still continuing to write stories in this universe that she created, because I Love it! I look froward to reading some Lucien tales and Cassian if that's what she chooses to write about. Kind of sad that the story is over.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome I bought this book because I liked the first one well enough but not enough to be sure to pursue my reading. Well I was not disappointed, really great book. Loved it more than the first one and I'm definitely going to buy the third one. By the way the art in this Indigo edition is amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!!! I LOVE THIS BOOK! The amount of development with the characters in this book and this series, in general, is amazing and empowering. This is the kind of book you could definitely get lost in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kept me turning pages I love this series and so far, this one was my favourite. Each and every chapter had me turning pages to find out more. I couldn't put it down. If I wasn't a mother and had to constantly put it down to adult, I would have finished it in one day. But instead I finished it in two. It is full of action and heart break ( I cried at least twice), twists and turns. I can not wait for the next one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome This series is so exciting! It definitely takes me away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS BOOK TOTALLY WRECKED ME ... In the best possible way (because I’m thrilled to cry for a day straight? Idk). First of all, the scope of this story is extraordinary. Events from the first half that seemed so important at the time now feel like minuscule details in the face of this EPIC PLOT. I love how Maas writes such complex characters who have had their lives shattered in a variety of ways, yet still keep fighting for each other and work to create a new life with the family they chose. Feyre’s growth from the first book where she had such low self-worth is beyond inspirational as she finds the ability to completely forgive & love herself and everything she’s been. Maas manages to juggle a wide range of characters in this book, add in even more, and find really creative ways to show what’s happening with other ships besides Rhys & Feyre. I was curious to see how Feyre would wield her new power as High Lady on her own rather than through Rhys. A lot of stories find ways to keep couples separated until the very end so you never really see them figure out how they work together, so I thought the scenes with Rhys & Feyre just talking strengthened their characters so much. There’s a running thread throughout the story that Rhys would rather sacrifice himself than let others be hurt and EVERYTHING GETS SO EMOTIONAL.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great!! I bought this book for my flight to England because it was a bigger book. Let's just say on an 8 and a half hour flight I barely put the book down. With the aid of jet lag I finished it before I went to sleep. Worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoyable. The author writes some awkward sex scenes though they're no where near the worst i've ever read. Overall I enjoyed the novel. It wasn't perfect but it was an engaging read!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still amazing. This book was a nice little wrap up of the hell we went through in book 2. But, do not think this one does not have its own ups and downs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved every moment! I'm speechless.. THAT WAS SO GOOD. It wasn't what I was expecting at all, but I loved it. To see everything come together the way it did, it was absolutely amazing. I'm already dying to read the next book. RIP to my sanity.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ACOMAF was better ACOWAR was not exactly my favorite book in the series, ACOMAF was so much better. I'm interested to see what the latest book in the series is going to bring to the table in this series, after everything that happened in this book.
Date published: 2018-02-19
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best one yet After that cliffhanger in ACOMAF it is a must read
Date published: 2018-02-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great conclusion. I love this series and this book was everything I hoped for in the third book. I really hope that we see more of these characters.
Date published: 2018-02-12
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eh Bit of disappointment from ACOMAF, focuses more on plot than character development so if you liked the relationship building in ACOMAF, than you might be let down
Date published: 2018-02-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by from AGUHHHHHH!!!! READ THIS!!! Amazing conclusion!! I loved everything that happened! Through out the book my mouth was just left hanging open!! So much happened and so much loved for the Inner Circle!!! Read this now!!!!
Date published: 2018-02-06
Rated 4 out of 5 by from ACOMAF > ACOWAR Without a doubt, I would say that ACOMAF was one of my favourite fantasy novels by far. Maybe it was because I loved ACOMAF so much that ACOWAR was a SLIGHT (emphasis on slight) disappointment for me. Many things - especially the ending - were predictable in my opinion. Regardless, there were still moments in the book that I absolutely adored :') Looking forward to reading ACOFAS though!
Date published: 2018-02-04
Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE My friend kept bothering me to read it, and honestly I wished I had listened to her sooner!!! Highly recommend!! Can not wait until the next installment in this wild, beautiful series!!!
Date published: 2018-02-02
Rated 1 out of 5 by from embarrassing I loved ACOMAF, but this book erased all of the goodwill that that book fostered. Disappointing, juvenile characters and the massive war that we'd been building towards barely counted as a blip. This book definitely suffered from the decision to expand the series beyond the originally billed trilogy and is where I will leave off with feyre and rhysand.
Date published: 2018-01-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must read! incredible!! I literally devoured all three books over one weekend straight, and they are not short. I love kick ass strong female characters with sass and adventure and a nice and not too forced love story that is not the centre piece of it all. This book delivers on everything plus some. It is primarily set in a fairy world but fairies are presented as both dark and light and their powers also seem realistic and not over the top. The book has a lot of surprising twists and turns that that tears at your heart. Strongly recommend the entire series! can't say enough good things about this book.
Date published: 2018-01-10
Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok I was a little disappointed with the ending
Date published: 2017-12-31
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Book Ever! This book is simply amazing! I would highly recommend reading it! The writing is stellar; Maas manages to incorporate incredible visual descriptions that work to really bring the characters and their world to life. I have read the entire series three times over and I still can not get enough of it!
Date published: 2017-12-31
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow!! This book was AMAZING. It was entertaining, action-packed, explosive and exhilarating. This series is by far one of my favourites. Sarah J. Maas is an exceptional writer and the world she has created is only outdone by the characters that live in it.
Date published: 2017-12-30
Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little boring... Nothing really happened in this sequel. It took me forever to get through. The plot really dragged, with very little substance. I hope the next book in the series has a better pace
Date published: 2017-12-30
Rated 4 out of 5 by from so much more than expected I loved how many twists and turns this had from the beginning. While a lot of it was feyre and rhys complaining about various things it was 1000% worth my time to read and i would reccomend this to anyone. Yet another incredible book. #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Read! Sarah J Maas did a great job pulling this series off. This book was very well written, and the events that happened were quite interesting. Looking forward to reading more of her books!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SOOOOO GOOD!!!! My brother bought this for me after I asked, and asked, and it was one of the greatest books i've ever read. Sarah J Maas is one of the best authors I've ever seen.
Date published: 2017-12-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoyed it! I don't think that this book was able to live up to its expectations as ACOMAF set the bar so high, however, I still loved readings this book and seeing where it went. I was glad that this book didn't just focus on the war aspect but we got to see a lot more character development in the supporting characers.
Date published: 2017-12-27
Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok I loved it to the ending. The ending was a bit too much, but I have hope that the series will be redeemed
Date published: 2017-12-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok This story is so important and I would love to see more like it involving this content!!!
Date published: 2017-12-23
Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok I need to re-read this, as I rushed through it the first time because I was busy, but nonetheless, I enjoyed it.
Date published: 2017-12-22
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could have been 100x better It's hard to review this book without spoilers to tell you the truth but I'll try anyways. Of course everyone was exceptionally excited about getting this book and getting more Feyre and Rhysand. However, this book was TOO closely written to another book by her. Without spoiling it's hard to understand, but I was extremely disappointed in this book!
Date published: 2017-12-18
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too cliche Hoped the ending would be believable, but I guess I was asking for too much. Very cliche, completely ruins the series for me
Date published: 2017-12-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection I love this series, and this was the perfect ending to this main arc. I am so happy that Sarah will continue working on this series and can't wait to see whats next!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok Amazing author with great character development.
Date published: 2017-12-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good final for an amazing trilogy I really love Feyre's character development. She grew so much since the first book. I found some parts a little bit long but still love the characters and Sarah J. Mass`s writing. The last hundred pages were so emotional but prefer the second book.
Date published: 2017-12-09
Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok I am so excited for this to be delivered!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from so great after acomaf, i knew nothing could top it. this still came so close and the ending was so beautiful!! definitely a favorite of mine and i will love the series forever!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Best Of The Trilogy This book is my personal favorite of the three. Many tears were shed, I came extremely close to throwing the bloody book against the wall (I settled for closing it and walking away), and, while there are parts that I'm not too crazy about, I did enjoy this book far more than the previous two installments in this series. It's enough to give SJM a higher standard in my bookish preferences. I'm much more likely to pick up more of her work after this. Very, very impressed, and relieved, after being somewhat disappointed by ACOTAR and ACOMAF.
Date published: 2017-11-29
Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok Talks about issues present in our society.
Date published: 2017-11-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfying end to the trilogy I enjoyed this finale! I wanted a bit more from it, but overall it was still a strong read. In the end, I felt that some elements wrapped up too neatly while other plot points were glossed over (presumably to be touched on in future spin-off novels). It didn't quite live up to A Court of Mist and Fury, but I did enjoy reading it!
Date published: 2017-11-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was good Not as good as ACOMAF but still a good story. There were just a few problems I faced with this book. (More thoughts in my review on my channel BookNerdSue on YouTube).
Date published: 2017-11-27
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised First off, I can't stand YA Novels. But this series gave me a little hope. The action scenes make the book and seeing Feyre grow and develop as a character was very enjoyable. This series has a more adult feel to it, rather than teen, so that could possibly be why I enjoyed it. And I have a lot of love for a lot of characters :)
Date published: 2017-11-27
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really Enjoyed Read this one when it first came out, right after I read the first two and while, in my opinion, it wasn't as good as A Court of Mist and Fury, it was an enjoyable conclusion to the main trilogy.
Date published: 2017-11-25
Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok Can't wait for the next one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST READ I mean if you read ACOMAF, you will have to read ACOWAR! It was a great final book for the first part of the series! Can't wait for ACOFOS to come up! #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Will Never Get Over This Series. Ok, HOW DOES THIS SERIES CONTINUE TO GET BETTER??? Blew through this in a day the next day after I finished ACOMAF in one day. It's been a week since I've read the 3 books in the series and I'm still rereading my favourite parts everyday because it.is.that.good. If you enjoyed the last book, please please do yourself a favour and read this while crying and kissing the book cover.
Date published: 2017-11-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still really good I know that many people think this isn't her best book in the series, but it's still very good and intriguing. The action scenes were amazing, nice work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Court of Wings and Ruin So first off, holy moly this novel is very long with very thin pages! I loved the addition of this novel with the pictures of the characters in the front and the back of the novel. I thought they were very well done, and classy. However, for some reason Armen to me is always going to a like the 'grandmother' of the group and no matter what descriptions are put into how she looks I have a picture in my mind I just can't get rid of. I thought this was a very satisfying ending to this initial trilogy. I loved that all my favourite characters returned. And I loved the deception and truths that were told within the meetings and with each characters interactions. I honestly wasn't really a big fan of Feyre's family at all... and this novel definitely changed that for me. I really loved how she and her sisters really finally became the family they always should have been. Some things ended up being very easy and predictable, but overall I really enjoyed this installment. Although, A Court of Misty And Fury will forever be my favourite novel out of this series! I hope that in this next trilogy or spin-off or whatever is happening; Tamlin finds happiness and maybe looks further into his anger and control issues. I hope we see more of Lucien; I missed his character a lot in this last book. Also, I think there might be more of Eris....I feel like there is more of story there behind what happened with Mor. I can't wait to see my favourite characters back in action especially Rhys, cause common...he is broken and scared but utter perfection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Amazing!! A great conclusion to the first part of this series, absolutely loved it. Such wonderful characters and a great story. Although not quite as good as ACOMAF, it was still such a great read. My favorite Sarah J. Maas series and looking forward to the next book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING Like all of Sarah J Maas books, I read this in less than a week. I simply could not put it down. I really loved all of the new characters introduced, it gave a wider perspective of all of the other courts. 10/10 reccomend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok Very well written but cvould have been ore descriptive of each of the instances that were felt.
Date published: 2017-10-27
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved it! I love this book; although not nearly as much as ACOMAF. It wasn't as exciting and the writing is not as polished
Date published: 2017-10-26
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't wait! I cannot wait for the next book! I need more information on whats happening between the characters! Definitely recommended
Date published: 2017-10-21
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! ACOMAF would still have to be my favourite, but this comes in at a close second. ACOMAF brought in new characters that you couldn't help but fall in love with, and seeing the rest of the courts and high lords was a stunner as well! Some character plots were left very open ended, but was probably intentional as Ms.Maas is extending the series, and releasing 3 more books. Loved the battle scenes, loved the characters, and loved the familial bond that was created between the characters of the inner circle!
Date published: 2017-10-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok Highly recommend even if you don't normally read fantasy
Date published: 2017-10-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much anticipated!! This series blew me out of the water. I cannot wait to read Sarah J Mass' Throne of Glass series!!
Date published: 2017-10-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I devoured this within a week and really enjoyed. I understand why a lot of people enjoyed ACOMAF more because I'm in the same boat. This one fell a little short, mainly because the second had such an incredible character growth arc for multiple people and the romance was on fire. That was missing a bit from this one. The war scenes were good, and I was pleased we got to visit other courts and meet other High Lords. Overall, I was happy with the ending, but you can tell she's setting it up for more. If she had another 100 pages, Maas could have wrapped it and all the loose ends up well. As it stands, I really hope this doesn't turn into a Mortal Instruments. Three books was all it took to make that a fantastic story, but then it unnecessarily carried on with a lukewarm secondary story that kind of ruined the series. Hopefully Maas can keep it up and not fall into that trap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some Issues I was really excited to get this book, until two weeks I found that the pages containing the art were torn. Not exactly happy about that when I had shelled out 40 bucks for all three books.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply put: it was awesome I red it all in one go, took me less than a day. I couldn't put it down. Since I discovered Sarah J. Maas, I fell in love with her writing style, her stories. She wove a universe where you easily find yourself fascinated. This third book in ACOTAR was perfect, full of actions, romance and surprises.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This Series is a Must-Read If I had to actually rank the order of this trilogy from my favourite to least, it would go like this: ACOMAF, ACOWAR, ACOTAR. So this conclusion was not my favourite. But it brought some closure to this series and I would still recommend everyone to read it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this book SO MANY EMOTIONS! The character development is incredible and you truly feel like you're part of their squad, and secretly wish you had friends as funny as these guys. The characters relationships are what make this book so powerful and incredible. Like I said so many emotions and it's great. Maas is great! Keep doing what you're doing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING MUST READ Just finished ACOWAR and basically read it in a week straight (I've procrastinated on SO much homework) Loved the amazing battles, comebacks, character insights, and all those little details that make this book and the other 2 so amazing and worthwhile to read! SPOILERS (don't read the rest if you haven't finished ACOWAR yet :)) Lucien being Helion's son totally blew me away!! Like I never expected it... So I hated Nesta in the first 2 books but I have to say I like her very much now...! But like the whole mating bond thing that is going around - what is going on with Nesta and Cassian??? Like Sarah J Maas never adresses the fact that they might be mates but I NEED TO KNOW Argh, I'm so upset that this is it for Feyre and Rhys' story as there are so many things that are left that we as readers have no idea about... I started crying at the end but I loved the way Feyre appreciates her new world and her experiences as a gift! *I'm still crying* Can't wait for the new ones in 2018!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sarah J Maas is a true Queen THIS BOOK EXCEEDED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS! I loved it so much and still do! #Feysandforever! I love the art that's on the inside of the book (the inside of the cover) its absolutely stunning! And the cover sleeve is just gorgeous! Not to mention, the context of the book truly makes this book a wonderful lovely masterpiece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS BOOK TORE ME APART I have always loved Sarah J. Maas and it has been a privilege to watch her writing evolve over time. This book was a great ending to the series and watching the characters change and interact with each other was so fun. I would definitely recommend this series to everyone! #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE SUCH A GREAT ENDING!!! THE WAR, ALL THE COURTS, & THEN THAT HORRIBLE MOMENT WHERE RHYS DIED BUT CAME BACK TO LIFE AND AMREN IS JUST HIGH FAE NOW.....I DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT THAT. I LIKED HER OTHERNESS. AND I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE BONE CARVER'S DEATH. I REFUSE. HOW CAN A DEATH GOD TYPE THING DIE!?!?!?!?!?? GODS, AND THE FACT THAT HIS CHILD FORM WAS FEYRE & RHYS' CHILD FUCCCCKKKKK!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My emotions! I got wayyyy too emotionally invested in this originally trilogy for my sanity. I love all the characters and the ships and politics and betrayals and surprises. I need more Feyre and Rhys and I hope they'll at least appear in the rest of the series (that are different POV I believe). I feel kinda empty now that I'm done it--just like the book hangover Illuminae and Gemina gave me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I loved it I bought it a while ago and it's now proudly sitting on my bookshelf. I'm kinda disappointing that it wasn't as good as ACOMAF, but overall it was still amazing to read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ahhhhh Could not have expected anything else from Sarah J Maas. Wonderfully written, with as many plot twist as there are heart-melting moments. It got me crying, laughing and curling my toes. It was great to see all of the beloved characters, Feyre, Rhys, Mor, Cassian, Azriel, Etc, grow and evolved all the more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Put me in a book coma! I have completely fallen in love with Sarah and specifically this book. This book had everything I wanted and series had everything I could've asked for. The tensions, politics between the courts, the overall love and affection displayed in this series have made me head over heels with the love that Rhys feels for Feyre. Sarah J Mass has created a beautiful world all from her own imagination and this series shines and I cannot stop rethinking the book. Number one favorite series and author.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3) I'll get this out of the way first though- there are very steamy scenes in this. My opinion is that they can easily be skipped, but just FYI. Also, there are triggers and such in this book that might upset /hurt some people. I'd recommend going in with caution or making yourself aware. The plot was insane, and I’d expect nothing short from Sarah. The beginning was obviously at the Spring Court. I didn’t agree with everything that Feyre did, but holy crap it was a fun first bit of the book. SO MANY AMAZING LUCIEN MOMENTS AHHH. I am a hardcore shipper of the Feyre/Lucien being best friends ordeal. Also Lucien is like.. my fav. I’m not going to go over many other plot details because it is SO much better if you go in blind- but wowza, so much happens. We get to see several of the other courts and meet ALL the high lords. New characters are introduced, and old ones (like the Suriel and the Weaver) come back too! This book focuses mostly on war/political maneuverings and honestly I LOVED that. It was so interesting watching the dynamics and plotting between the courts. the plot was pretty well-driven after that, allowing each character to have its share of glory in Hybern Battle. And thank god for incredible plot twists or else I would have died a thousand times. Overall, it was an EPIC BOOK closing an AMAZING trilogy with immensely ENTERTAINING STORYLINE, characters TO LOVE and a DETAILED fantasy WORLD. Very much worth your time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good For a 700 page book I expected a lot more. The first part of the book was great. Then there was nothing going on for 300 pages. The ending was acceptable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing book to wrap up the series! I love, love this book! It was such an enjoyable ride!! I don't think SJM could write anything bad, she's such an amazing writer! I will forever remember these characters, they are the real definition of squad goals!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I AM SO SAD IT'S OVER but its really not over ;) I loved this ride Sarah J Maas has put us on. It has been up and down plenty. all of the world building and foreshadowing was defiantly worth it. all the crying and laughing and doubt and sadness was worth it. I'm sad that this chapter is over but not to worry there are more installments of this world coming because I had a massive book hangover after this book after this series.... and the new installments are featuring different couples and there journeys in the world. and i'm so exited , I'm not ready for this world to end. as are lot of other people as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Third Book I was so excited for this and man was it a let down! Better than the first one still but nothing at all like the second, which I found so beautiful and emotional and exciting. This is a 700 page conclusion with no new challenges or character development.
Date published: 2017-08-01
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A fitting end. I devoured this within a week and really enjoyed. I understand why a lot of people enjoyed ACOMAF more. This one fell a little short, mainly because the second had such an incredible character growth arc for multiple people and the romance was on fire. That was missing a bit from this one. The war scenes were good, and I was pleased we got to visit other courts and meet other High Lords. Overall, I was pleased with the ending, but you can tell she's setting it up for more. If she had another 100 pages, Maas could have wrapped it and all loose ends up well. As it stands, I really hope this doesn't turn into a Mortal Instruments. Three books was all it took to make a fantastic story, but then it unnecessarily carried on with a lukewarm secondary story that kind of ruined the series. Hopefully Maas can keep it up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The expression "all the feels" seems appropriate While ACOMAF remains my favourite of the series, A Court of Wings and Ruin did not disappoint. Much more plot-driven than the second book, but still manages to flesh out the characters and their relationships. An epic third installment that was simply unputdownable and left me wanting more!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from At least it's over After the second novel, I thought this series was getting better and better. I was wrong! This book is full of overdone phrases and tropes. Super disappointed in this, somehow Maas has managed to ruin all of the interesting characters in one fell swoop! Also, if I ever have to read "She gave him an obscene gesture" one more time... C'mon!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good End Great series. Liked this much better than the second book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does it have to end!? I began the series because ACOTAR was in the sale section and the cover looked interesting (as most YA books do. Well let me tell you, once I got started, I could NOT put it down! I read the entire series in 1 weekend. I don't know why I'm reviewing the last one, or why people are looking at the reviews to buy this, how can you not continue reading after the first 2? I really enjoyed how Maas further developed the characters, but I won't lie, she really did leave me wanting more! I was very disappointed when it ended. Can't wait till the next one comes out. If you're still debating on whether you should buy this book...stop. Just do it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! This last installment in the ACOTAR series isn't my favourite. However it is great! Since there was so much character development in the last book, I thought this one would stay on this path. It turned out that this last book is all about advancing the plot forward, which is interesting, but not as interesting as ACOMAF in my opinion. I wish there would have been less war going on and a bit more developing the relationships. Still, this book made me laugh, cry and kept me invested in the story.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Court of Wings and Ruin I loved all the battles and the arguments between the highlords. Again I do not like Feyre, and Rhys has become weak thanks to her. It would be much better if there was more Mor, Amren, Azriel, and Cassean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST BOOK EVER! The epic portrayal of love, honour, friendship, and bravery was beautiful written into one glorious book. Sarah J Maas has out done herself in the best read of the year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Fantastic Ending!! ACOWAR is the perfect conclusion to a completely enthralling series of A Court of Thorns and Roses and A Court of Mist and Fury. There's action, romance and a plot full of twists and turns and unexpected surprises around every bend! Definitely a book you will read from beginning to end in one go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Series!!!! I'm addicted to this series!! Sarah J. Maas is by far one of my favourite authors and I will read anything by her since I started reading her books. By far this lovely book was emotional, twisty, surprising, fantastic and overall amazing. I liked how we got to see more of the world building and the surrounding courts in this book because the way the book ends Sarah J. Maas can definitely do more with the story and characters. There were also moments that I wanted to cry but in the end I was very happy with the end of the series and how the characters were left off. While A Court of Mist and Fury left us with that amazing cliffhanger with Feyre entering back into the Spring Court. I definitely was Team Rhys by the end of that book and it did not change with this one. I still need more Rhys because he is so swoony + hot. Sarah J. Maas did an excellent job with the end with all her story lines that I was wishing there was more once I got to the last page. A Court of Wings and Ruin brought out more of Feyre's character and her relationship with Rhys. Feyre is an amazing character who has grown through the series. She is not perfect and will do anything to help her friends and family, especially Rhys' court and her sisters. At one point in the book I thought my heart was breaking in two. I even loved all the war scenes! Overall, ACOWAR was perfect. Very excited that there is going to be more in the series!! Even though it was the end of Feyre's story and the world of Prythian. If you have already started this series you will definitely want to read this amazing book! You will also have a serious book hangover that I already want to re-read the series. Well worth the wait and all the tears!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Is it even a shock I loved this book?? This book gets 5 stars for just existing. Maas' writing is so fun and easy to fly through. She's an expert at crafting intricate fantasy worlds and I will forever read her books for the rest of my life. I loved this one, albeit not as much as ACOMAF. Basically, nothing will ever be able to top ACOMAF but this was still a great conclusion to Feyre and Rhysand's story. Loved it!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Book Candy Better than ACOTAR, yet not as good as ACOMAF, I was a bit disappointed by this book due to high expectations, but still thoroughly enjoyed it. There were tons of problems in this novel, yet I devoured it like candy. Even though there will be companion novels to this series, it feels like there were too many loose ends. Still, an addictive book that I don't regret reading.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ACOMAF was better. I did enjoy this book, really.Loved the character development that occurred during the course of this book, especially the side characters. The plot was enthralling at times. The writing could cut you right to the feels. But ACOMAF was revelation whereas ACOWAR was a bit underwhelming in comparison. I was satisfied with it as an ending to the trilogy, but there was just something missing to make it a memorable, emotional rollercoaster like ACOMAF was.
