Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kind of pointless There's nothing in this book that can't be found online, and with more in depth treatment. Each page/small spread is given to a different individual/pair of individuals who share some of their tips and stories about decorating their own home. Although the personal touch is always nice, everything feels crammed. The text makes for smaller and fewer photos, and the photos makes for less text. It's almost as if the book can't decide what it wants to be. Perhaps they were trying to offer a glimpse into a variety of designers and leave it up to you to decide whom you'd want to look into? But then I went through this with a stack of post-its, ready to mark out things I liked and I think I used 3. All the design aesthetics were so same-y. If you're going to offer a soupcon of the design world's pre-eminent designers, maybe show actual variety. You can go on the design*sponge website and get way more interesting interviews/photos than this book and it's free.
