Most dating books tell you what NOT to do. Here's a book dedicated to telling you what you CAN do.

In his book, Get the Guy, Matthew Hussey—relationship expert, matchmaker, and star of the reality show Ready for Love—reveals the secrets of the male mind and the fundamentals of dating and mating for a proven, revolutionary approach to help women to find lasting love.

Matthew Hussey has coached thousands of high-powered CEOs, showing them how to develop confidence and build relationships that translate into professional success. Many of Matthew’s male clients pressed him for advice on how to apply his winning strategies not to just get the job, but how to get the girl. As his reputation grew, Hussey was approached by more and more women, eager to hear what he had learned about the male perspective on love and romance.

From landing a first date to establishing emotional intimacy, playful flirtation to red-hot bedroom tips, Matthew’s insightfulness, irreverence, and warmth makes Get the Guy:  Learn Secrets of the Male Mind to Find the Man You Want and the Love You Deserve a one-of-a-kind relationship guide and the handbook for every woman who wants to get the guy she’s been waiting for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy it for everybody! I had the chance to listen to this book, hence the 5 stars - the content is great but the author's passion about this, his friendly tone, his dedication to spreading his valuable message to women (confidence, integrity, independence, playfulness) are what really sold me. I would recommend and gift this to all my girlfriends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting For certain people, it can be a good book to build self confident. But it is not for everyone, and people who are naturally good at communication find it not that useful. It`s interesting for me, it made me realize I`m actually a shy person.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just admit you don't like me! This book frustrated me. It basically gives men an excuse for treating women badly: because they can. I agree that women should be clear what is and isn't acceptable but if you have to keep "correcting" behaviour then maybe it's simply just the wrong guy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just admit you don't like me! I've been subscribing to Matthew's blog for over a year now and I was very keen to read his first book. While it is not the best dating book I've read (I would recommend Jess McCann's dating books as the best), this has some very good insights into dating and relationships from a male point of view. I especially found his chapters on dating and sex valuable. Overall, this is a decent book for those of you wanting to get a male perspective on dating, love, and relationships.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just admit you don't like me! When initially learning of Matthew Hussey I was skeptical. However I subscribed to his EMail newsletters and found that the information he gave was actually practical and made sense. This former skeptic actually bought tickets to one of his in person events and it, too, contained a lot of helpful information, which made me curious about his book. I just finished reading Get the Guy and it was one of the best 'guy or dating advice' books that I have read. The tips are believable and make sense, unlike many other authors or relationship 'gurus'. He breaks down many dating questions and stages (online dating, meeting in person, first dates, etc.) and gives practical advice that you can easily put in place. I can now see why so many people believe in the information that he gives. It's a must read - even if you feel like you already have a lot and experience with the dating world.
