Rated 5 out of 5 by from You'll love slop too Wonderful book that teaches children that everyone has different likes and tastes that should be accepted and even tried! Working in an elementary school of many different cultures, children will quite often bring in lunches consisting of cultural favourites that other children may find strange. Like in the story, Gerald comes to realize that Piggy's choice of food isn't strange to her, and even tries it.
