Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thought Provoking Ahmad does an excellent job of explaining how the relationship between militants and local business fuel the rise of Islamist groups through her meticulous research and unpretentious explanations. Despite being very repetitive in certain chapters, Jihad and Co.: Black Markets and Islamist Power is a very intriguing read.
