Nebula Yorker (“Neb” to his friends) finds himself on the water planet of Marine in a race to recover a long lost Triopelian Star Chart he previously never knew existed.

Along the way Neb encounters new friends and a villainous brother and sister team bent on doing whatever they must to get their hands on the star chart first – including mayhem and murder.

One cocky android, one imbibed professor, one universal(ly) renowned scientist and one ice breathing sassy Water Dragon makes Neb wonder whether the past 3 years travelling with Halley’s Casino was just a peaceful lull?

Who will find the star chart first?

What are the implications if Neb doesn’t?

And what does a Water Moon have to do with all of this?

John Lennon seems to know….

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY OK I was going to wait for Father Christmas to bring me the book but.... What can one say? This second book in the trilogy had me in stitches funny funny funny dialogue through out. And the ending ! Did not see it coming. Truly, Douglas Adams fans should look into this author. Highly recommend . Now when does that third book come out Mr. Fahey?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Read Nebula Yorker – Neb to his friends – has been at it again. Neb takes us on a new adventure in Marine; book two of the trilogy by Mark JG Fahey. From his base on Halley’s Casino (Halley’s Comet to us Earthers) he leads an eclectic group of intergalactic travellers to the planet of Marine in search of a vital map of the galaxies which is the only way for some to find their way home. On Marine, Neb must battle his fair share of homicidal beings intent upon recovering the map themselves. With assists from his friends, including John Lennon, Neb takes us through the amazing world of Marine in his quest, sharing the atmosphere of this largely water based world with its two conventional and one water based moons. Along the way things are not always what they appear to be and we are treated to some imaginative sci-fi writing which constantly raises questions for us as observers. Mr. Fahey has written another stellar sci-fi adventure complete with humour, engaging characters and of course musical references. The writing produces a good story that ties just about everything together. I say, “just about” because something develops at the end that makes you wish Fahey would hurry up and publish book three of the trilogy so you can see how the series ends. It makes you want more.
