Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wilson's background very interesting I liked reading about Brett's path to success. I still prefer Jim and Roberts' books over this one, but still a good read. I wasn't too crazy about the opening poems (?) of each chapter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideas for breaking out I was given this book at a financial planning event hosted by Holliswealth in Newmarket. I've been given books at so many events I'm not sure what made me open this one. The few times I've watched The Dragon's Den (and I do enjoy it) I remember Kevin and Arlene .. Maybe Brett had already left the show? In any event ... Don't let the first 20 pages which are a bit repetitive, discourage you from finishing this wonderful book! From Brett Wilson's personal stories and journey to his challenges and contributions to his community, friends and family ... To the little walk through the Canada west recent history (late 70's and 80's) ... To sharing creative ideas for fundraising in the world of supporting non-profits (my own journey with Ability Online has me thirsting for ideas in my spare time) ... This book was educational, entertaining and inspiring! I loved it and recommend it to any Canadian who enjoys reading to learn.
