Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A powerful and engaging story. Fifteen years ago, while returning from England, a fellow traveller offered me a pocketbook that she had finished reading; that book was "River of Darkness". I found it to be a powerful, haunting mystery that was difficult to put down and held me to the end. At that time, the other two books written by Airth were unavailable here so "River...." was the only one I was able to read. I am just now rereading this book and it is just as good on second reading! I was thrilled to find that there are now two more books in the Inspector Madden series and that all Airth's books are available through Indigo. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up. You won't be disappointed,
