Tina Connolly's Seriously Shifted is a sparkling new adventure about teen witch Camellia and her mother, wicked witch Sarmine, introduced to readers in Seriously Wicked.

Teenage witch Cam isn't crazy about the idea of learning magic. She'd rather be no witch than a bad one. But when a trio of her mother's wicked witch friends decide to wreak havoc in her high school, Cam has no choice but to try to stop them.

Now Cam's learning invisibility spells, dodging exploding cars, and pondering the ethics of love potions. All while trying to keep her grades up and go on a first date with her crush. If the witches don't get him first, that is.

Can't a good witch ever catch a break?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still Colourful and Fun~ I read Seriously Wicked last year and had a really fun time so I looked forward to reading this sequel. Seriously Shifted was equally delightful though I think I the first book made me laugh a bit more. Seriously Shifted picks up a few weeks after the events of Seriously Wicked. More witchery breezes into town in the form of three old friends of Cam's mother. As they bring back a favourite game from their past, Cam pits herself against the evil witches to save her friends from misery; all the while trying to puzzle together the ulterior motive to the game. There is so much fun to the storyline. Not only do the witches wreak havoc, they're creative with their ways. Cam never knew when and in what form they'd strike in. To counteract their moves, she's had to do some hilarious training- the invisible eel and all the ways to utilize it was my favourite. Some of the spells were absurd but ridiculously fun. The silliness would most likely appeal more to a younger audience. Between trying to thaw the witches' evil plans and figuring out her relationship woes, poor Cam really couldn't catch a break. I really felt for her and the tight spots she was constantly being put in. However, I do find Cam to be a tad more dramatic than I'm used to which made me connect with her less. It was nice to see she had such a loyal friend in Jenah though. Her optimism was contagious. Always fun and colourful, the Seriously Wicked books are a breeze to read. I definitely recommend these books if you want a good laugh and some good-natured fun~

"If you're curious about how one would have a pet werewolf, decipher a rather unreadable invisibility spell, or try to get a boy to kiss them, read on!" - TeenReads
