about

A pragmatic and informative look at better living through cannabis.

Cannabis. Weed. Bud. Whatever you choose to call it, it's been a health aid, comfort, and life-enhancer for humankind for more than three thousand years. Will it make you crazy?

In this fun, illuminating book, cannabis journalist Amanda Siebert delves deep into the latest research to separate marijuana fact from fiction, revealing ten evidence-based ways this potent little plant can improve your life. She speaks with some of the world's top researchers, medical professionals, and consultants to answer questions such as: Can cannabis help you get a full night's sleep? Does it aid in exercise and weight loss? Can it really cure cancer? She also offers practical advice for enjoying its benefits, including easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for consumption and dosage, as well as examples of real people who have used this drug to enhance their lives. Reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by from they say you can't judge a book by its cover - want to make a bet ? The audacity of this author to suggest that cannabis/marijuana can improve your life is beyond the pale. Marijuana is a psychotropic addictive substance, it is addictive, it can lead to heart attack and stroke, and harm both baby and mother if used in pregnancy. Men should not take marijuana for any reason says Health Canada - this country's health agency if they plan on having children due to the link with testicular cancer and fertility issues. This book is sending the wrong message and what Indigo should be selling is the complete opposite book - and how this drug has messed up so many people's lives. Give this book a thumbs down and run from it.
