Rated 3 out of 5 by from not bad This book overall wasn't too bad. I thought it was going to be like an unsolved mysery with real vampires. I didn't realize that it was about a detective, which was also a good thing. It caught me by suprise and at some points, it was a real page turner and a sure nailbiter. The author gave a very vivid discription of everything. I felt like I was there. Once they started talking about suspects and I realized it was a mystery, I knew it was just somebody after the riches of Baron Zaba and the property of the Blackwater Estate. There also were some very tense moments, for example when Liz was in the vampires alter underneath the chapel when the door closed behind her and locked her in an alter with nothing but a vampire and his coffin. I didn't mind reading it and I would recomend it to anyone who enjoys a good, short mystery story.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Speech Contest I chose the title for my review Speech Contest because Liz Austin, a girl who lives in Winnipeg, is in a speech contest. I gave this book a rating of 4 because it is a very good and confusing mystery. The Mansion Liz was staying in was haunted by a Vampire , but at the end of the book it turns out to be another suprise. I would reccomend this book to everybody.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Vampires of Ottawa In this book I liked the way Liz had the guts too go and do the things she did. She went on an adventure to figure out who was trying to give the Baron a heartattack with him so afraid of vampires. The book made it really seem like there could be vampires. I really enjoyed this superstision book.
