Erin Hunter is inspired by a love of cats and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. As well as having great respect for nature in all its forms, Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior. She is also the author of the bestselling Seekers series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It delivers without disappointment I re-read Firestar's Quest in a three-hour sitting the other day and was delighted to realize it had left an emotional impact on me. I bought this book in my pre-teen years, and as an adult looking back on it, I'm impressed and happy to state the writing holds up and the story is perfectly suitable for any age. Firestar's Quest is a solid story and achieves what it sets out to do. Not only does it set up the next two series' following the original arc, it brings a close to books told from Firestar's point of view and naturally hands the torch forward, without feeling it's been overdone or dragged out. As readers, we are taken on a quest away from Clan life to explore the deeply-ingrained boundaries of their world, where the sensation of the very first book in the series (Into the Wild) comes rushing back in a feeling only described as welcoming. Firestar's Quest is a reminder of why Warriors reached its pinnacle in popularity, and a love-letter to fans, promising the story can make the most of whatever path it chooses. Recommended. A good starting point for readers into latter series', but spoils The Original Series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The first Super Edition Firestar's Quest was the first Super Edition published, and it was a very nice change to the smaller books of the series. It was a nice way to introduce a forgotten Clan, and helped to cement Firestar and Sandstorm's bond. It was nice to take a break from traditional Clan life and travel to far away places with Firestar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Addon! Best book about Firestar yet! He actually rebuilds an entire clan before they are gone forever. His lives are out of place when you consider sunset and the rest of the series. Authors may not be perfect but they are Definitely good at their stories!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful It's wonderful that there is finally a Warriors book (in paperback) that is longer than 310 pages! This is the longest of the (more or less) 20 books out and it actually takes more than 2 hours to read. This book isn't like the rest of the series, the entire adventure is in ONE book instead of six - a nice change. It was a good read for people who care about what happened between the end of the Original series and the beginning of 'The New Prophecy' series. It also includes the origins of the prophecy for 'The Power of Three'. Overall I think it's one of the better books in the series, but you do have to read the first six books to really understand (and appreciate) what's happening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in the series! And I love the whole series! This is definitly the best--and longest book in the series. Me and my best friend follow the books-- and we know about a book that hasn't even shown up on Chapters yet. I got this particular book five days ago-- it got me staying up until one in the morning reading it, not a good thing on test week!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WoW! Defanately the best book in all three seiries. It was simply an amazing tale. There is one thing i dont get though, in the secrets of the clans, there was no redstar, birchstar,or any other cats from that time. I do find it exciting that if tigerclaw was gorseclaws, son, then brambleclaw, Tawnypelt, tigerkit, flamekit and the other one whos name ecapes me, are all Skyclan! (notice i dont say anything about Lionpaw, Hollypaw, and jaypaw!) who are not the children of brambleclaw and squirrelflight at all! no more hints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this book! I've read this book 3 times already because it is so good. Firestar has these wierd dreams about a clan of cats wailing and fleeing. The clan is Skyclan the fifth clan of the forest, who were driven off by the other four clans. The main reason they left is that, they were driven off, the other reason is the twolegs destroed their home to build the twolegplace. Firestar go on the greatest adventure yet to save the fifth clan. And put the remains of it back together, not that there is any cats left that live by the warrior code except one, Sky. Sky is a very old cat but he does live until his clan is aclan once again. A great book. LOVED IT! -Echosong of Skyclan

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!! I love this book! I was always wondering what happened in between book 6 and 1! And this book says it all!!! SkyClan! Who would have thought! My favourite cat is.......Echosong and Rainfur( even though he dies in the rat battle) I hope Erin Hunter writes a book for the middle of Sunset and The Sight!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome! I haven't finished it yet, but I'm about half way through. I have read all of the Warrior books and this one is very good. I can't believe what StarClan has lied about... For you Warrior fans out there who haven't read it yet, this is a 'can't miss' book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from W-O-W OMG! This is the longest book yet. Although I haven't even gotten it yet, I'm positive that it'll be great! I own all the warrior books up until now. When is the next book in the third series, Dark River, gonna come out? And, just a note for the writers behind Erin Hunter, I have a few warrior names for you: Lightheart, Ripplewave and Dreamfrost. I made my own stories about them but have never finished them. I'd be glad if you used these names in your own books. Hollypaw rocks! Peace out and never stop reading the warrior books, cause they just keep getting better and better. But don't be afraid to read the first series for, like, the hundredth time! :) PS: I would recommend all the warrior books if I could, but they're limited to 3
